GREAT NEWS FOR BALTIMORE RAVENS!

As much as so many people would love for it to be, the Baltimore Ravens season is far from over and that’s because the AFC is wide open. Kyle Hamilton, he returned to practice for the Baltimore Ravens today and that was great. Ronnie Stanley, he was also back in the building and that’s amazing. New safeties Alohi Gilman and CJ Gardner Johnson, they were both in the building today. So that was nice. So you can see the Baltimore Ravens are getting healthier and the quality of their depth in some areas, not all, is improving and that bolds well because the AFC is they have a huge opportunity right there in front of them to get right back in the thick of things. It’s obviously going to take a lot of clawing, scratching, and just climbing out of this hole that they’ve dug themselves into. But it still is possible, especially once the last domino falls. Or I actually should say that last domino gets up. that being Lamar Jackson because when they have Lamar Jackson out there in the lineup, you have a chance against anybody. Doesn’t matter who it is. It doesn’t matter their record. Doesn’t matter that you always have a shot when you got number eight on the field. Looking at the standings right now in the AFC, we got the Colts sitting up top at number one, followed by the Bills, the Steelers, the Chargers, Jaguars, the Broncos, and the Patriots. closing it out at 3 and2. So for the Baltimore Ravens, all hope is certainly not lost. And I love what Juan Thornnehill said because he knows better than anybody. Let’s listen to what he said about the Baltimore Ravens. He said, “I really don’t want anybody to think that the Ravens are done. They aren’t done. I promise you that. I’ve seen them enough and I have played enough ball to know they have a lot of guys injured right now and a lot of bad things happening for them. But once they figure it out, I guarantee they are not done. And by the time we play them, they will be back to form. And I do expect that. I do expect a significant turnaround with this team. We know how bad they’ve looked against pretty much all the teams that they have gone against except Joe Flacco and the Browns. Uh but this Baltimore Ravens team, I do still have hope that they can get this thing fixed. But what’s the biggest area that they need to improve on in order to do that? And that issue is of course this Baltimore Ravens defense that has been historically bad. Let’s read this that came from Jeremy Fowler a few days ago. He said the Ravens have allowed 177 points this season. That’s the most for a fivegame stretch in Ravens history. Previous high was 172 points from weeks 6 through 10 of the inaugural 1996 season. So this defense has just been all kinds of consistently terrible. And that’s not the Ravens defense that we know. Even in years when their defense hasn’t been number one or number two or anything like that, for them to be last, that’s just very uncharacteristic of them. But what has been the reason that the defense has been this rough? Cuz they have so many nice names on this roster. They got a lot of the same personnel that they done had over the past couple of years and they’ve added a lot of other guys too and that should make them even better, right? But it hasn’t. But there’s been one common denominator minus the head coach obviously, but that has been Zack Ore. I take you back to Brandon Stevens. Remember Brandon Stevens in 2023? Oh my goodness, that man was locking stuff down. He was the Baltimore Ravens best corner, especially cuz Marlin Humphrey, he had been dealing with injuries and whatnot, so he was in and out of the lineup. But we had guys like Ronald Derby and some other guys, too. But Brandon Stevens was holding it down. He was locking up guys like Jamal Chase. He was being physical, tackling everything in his way. Oh my goodness, that man went crazy with it. But then the following year, we saw a significant drop off. I take you back again. Remember in 2023, our starting linebackers were Rocoan Smith and Patrick Queen, and they were an amazing duo. They just complimented each other so well. It was great. So then the last game of the season, what happened? We sat our starters against the Pittsburgh Steelers. So that allowed Trenton Simpson, Trenton Simpson, this rookie to come on the scene and boy, that boy was just flying around. He looked comfortable. He was going crazy with it, tackling everything in sight. He was blitzing. He was getting s. He was doing all of this stuff. I said, “Okay, Trent Simpson. Oh, you next up. Let’s get it. We going to be straight.” But what happened to Trent Simpson the following year in 2024? It looked bad. And it looked so bad that he ended up getting benched. I take you back again. Remember when we signed Marcus Williams? Marcus Williams, oh my goodness, is his first season with the Baltimore Ravens. Every single game in the beginning of the season, he was catching a pick. He was balling, but then he got hurt and was like, “Oh man.” So then he came back the following year and he was doing the same thing. He was balling, but then he got hurt and said, “Oh man.” So then the third year, which was 2024, Marcus Williams just seemed to fall off like crazy. And I was like, how does somebody who was such a baller, how do they go from doing that to just being a shell of themsself? He often found himself just out of position. He just wasn’t making plays anymore. And it’s like his skill just like fell off a cliff. And I’m like, h, how is this happening? But the only thing that changed when you think about Brandon Stevens and his fall off, when you think about Trenton Simpson and his fall off, when you think about Marcus Williams and his fall off, was the defensive coordinator. Let’s listen to what Marcus Williams had to say about that a couple of months ago. Now, you know, you know, that situation happened. I mean to to be to be frank, I just think that it was just a lot of miscommunication um from the top down. Um there’s a lot of stuff on on my side that I could have done better. Of course, I I I take accountability for whatever action that I did that they didn’t like, but I didn’t know what actions those were, but I take accountability for maybe missed opportunities, maybe misplays that I could have done better on. But as far as the communication from the top down, I feel like it could have been better. um they could have communicated properly and effectively so that there was no miscommunication when you know the switch was was going to occur. I mean I played football for a long time. You don’t just get bad overnight. Um and most people on the outside will believe that plays that were given up may have been on me, but they don’t really know the depths of the coverage or what we were actually running, what we were told. They don’t really know. But as a safety, my responsibility is to do whatever I can to to get show up in the screen and maybe possibly make a play. So right there, Marcus Williams, he talked about how there was just a lack of communication from the top down. And that’s something that seems like we’ve been seeing a lot with the Baltimore Ravens this season. There’s just been miscommunication. This defense has been all over the place. They’ve been very, very sloppy. guys have been running wide open and it’s just looked all kinds of bad. And I remember initially when Marcus Williams had said those comments, a lot of Ravens fans like, “Ah, Marcus, he just mad cuz he got cut. He just mad cuz he’s sorry.” And he also talked about how with you see a play breakdown, a lot of times you can assume, oh, this guy, he was supposed to be on him, but he said it all depends. There’s a lot of stuff that people don’t know that could have been called. It could have been somebody else’s assignment and whatnot, but Marcus Williams let it be known like, hey, it was a coaching issue. But let’s see what else he had to say. Situation where uh a play happens, and this happens a lot on the offensive line. A play happens and somebody that you’re not technically assigned to. This is not your responsibility, but you might end up being the closest person in proximity once the play happens. How do you and you know that the the immediate public reaction is going to be oh this guy it’s this guy’s fault happens a lot right how do you or what do you say to that like how do you combat that because you don’t want to come out and say no this was such and such man or I was supposed to be blocking him this was his guy how do you combat that? Yeah, you know, I never throw anybody under the bus. I I just try to, you know, just try to keep it cool and hopefully when you go in the meeting room, the the coaches address it. And, you know, unfortunately, like when things happened last year, it it wasn’t addressed in that magnitude. So, it all just ultimately somebody had to take the fall because of the media’s looking at it, the fans are looking at it, and somebody has to take the fall for what’s going on. And even though it may not be my fault, I’m not going to come out and say, “Hey, this is this is such and such a person.” So for me, I, you know, I just I I wrote on my board like every year, every week, I write on the board my goals and I just said never lose my peace. Like nobody could take my piece. Nobody could, you know, bring me down no matter what. No matter what, yeah, I was frustrated, upset about what was going on, but they were never going to take my peace. Cuz once somebody takes your peace, they control you. And nobody’s going to control me. So at the end of the day, I know what I could do. I know that I’m if not the best safety in the league, I’m one of the best and there’s a lot of great safeties out there, but I just know what I could do personally as as a safety. And when the change was made and there was no communication, it it hurt. Um, you know, get benched for a game and to be told like you just need to take a break and just to come back the next game ball and then get sat again, it it didn’t make sense to me. But, you know, I I didn’t I didn’t point the finger. I didn’t say it was this guy. I didn’t say it was that guy. I didn’t say it was a coach. I said I’m not gonna talk about it. I’mma keep it 100. I’mma keep it. I’mma just keep it G. I ain’t gonna say nothing about nothing in the media. It’s all about the team. I don’t want to make any distraction for my team cuz I want us to be the best that we could be. And I want us to win. If we win, I’m happy. But it sucks sitting sitting on the bench when you know what you could do. Make plays in practice. You go out and practice, you making plays versus the best quarterback in the league. Right. I like that for but but you’re not in the game. So, you know, I just kept doing everything I could. I approached everything as a pro and that’s just how I present myself and that’s what I try to teach my kids at my facility. So, did you catch what he said about the fall guy because now when you look at this Baltimore Ravens defense, they having even worse issues than they were having last season. And Marcus Williams, he been gone, but the same things are happening. So, it really does make his comments make sense that he was a fall guy. A lot of blame was placed on him. But Marcus Williams, he seemed like he was right. Now, I want you to watch this and let me know who it reminds you of. Throw the cards in the air when I count to three. Are you ready? One, two, three. You had one job. I’m a million. It’s not your fault. I chose you. So, in that video, he was trying to do a car trick and he told the woman, “Hey, throw the cards up in the air and she did it right away.” But he said, “When I say so.” But then, did you catch that end part? He said, “You had one job, but it’s not your fault because I chose you.” John Harbaugh. As much as we talk about Zack Our and he does share a lot of the blame, ultimately it’s not his fault because John Harbaugh chose him. We talked about last year had the Baltimore Ravens and it surprised us in a good way that they made a lot of tough decisions. If they truly want to salvage this season, this would be an opportunity for them to make another one, but a more significant one. Now, I have said before that, hey, if they were to let Zack Oil go relieve him of his duties, that wouldn’t be the end all be all because ultimately John Haw will still be there. But for this season, if they want a legitimate shot at being a serious contender and going on a serious run, then during the by-week, they have to make that tough decision because it can literally save their season. We’re at my favorite part of the videos where we get to feature your questions. Let’s jump straight into it. First question came from my guy Keonte who’s a team keep it clean patron. Appreciate you. He said, “I’m a little confused on these moves. Lol. I understand that DF being moved uh better trade than release for a safety while signing a safety to the practice squad is kind of crazy to me. All I know is we better sign Christian Wilkins. The only way the secondary gets better is not having to hold people more than 3 seconds.” Oh, don’t worry my guy Kee, it’s more moves on the way. Next question came from another patron, my guy Sebastian. He said the takeaways, I don’t really know what to say. Z Flowers did well, but we need number eight. But if you ask me, this game shows the offense is built for a certain quarterback. Cooper Rush isn’t that quarterback. Bust of a signing and waste of money that could have gone to a certain pass rusher named Davian Clowney. Huntley is a better backup for this offense. If you want to win without Lamar, then Tyler is your answer. See, with Tyler Huntley, we know that he obviously got a lot more scramble ability than Cooper Rush. But from what we’ve seen from Tyler Honey in his previous starts with the Baltimore Ravens, he doesn’t push the ball down the field enough. I think you have a much better shot of pushing that ball down the field if Cooper Rush is out there. But again, that’s just my opinion. He said, “Defensively, we got two sacks handed to us by the Texans. The pass rush wasn’t better when they actually got touched.” Something I saw was Anias Peeles. He was getting some good drive in the middle of the offensive line on pass rushing downs. He needs to be in more often. He’s the one guy I thought was working all game long on defense, special teams. Good job, Tyler. But unfortunately um for him he isn’t kicking too many point after touchdowns. Uh Zach and John aren’t going to win this team a Super Bowl. It’s time to get a change of scenery. So my guy Sebastian is ready. Next question came from another patient. My guy Omar. He said I hope all is well with you and the family. I can admit when I’m wrong. I got caught up in the preseason hype and really believe the Ravens had a top tier roster going into this 2025 season. Oh no. A lot of us did and obviously I think they still do but they just ain’t been using it right. He said they have the best player on the planet, Lamar Jackson, who makes mid-level NFL players look like pro bowlers. This isn’t a knock on his teammates. Every player in the NFL is a good football player. That’s true. He said, “But what’s obvious after watching the first five games is that the construction of this team lacks interior physicality on both sides of the ball, and it’s missing true defensive playmakers. The numbers show this. Even when you look at the Ravens rankings and sacks allowed, takeaways, and sacks obtained, without those elements, it doesn’t matter how great Lamar is, the ceiling for this roster is capped. At the end of the day, football is about moving other men where you want them to go against their will. My question to you is at what point in the Ravens player evaluation and roster building process did they allow this team to get to this state? Um, I I think it’s with uh with the defensive line, it’s been with injuries, but with the offensive line, I think it’s just been with I don’t want to say laziness, but just not bringing in any competition. Not bringing any serious competition and just being like lax about it. Uh, with Daniel Fle, with Andrew Voy, they’re just like, “Okay, we’ll just go have them guys be out there.” With the other three, I’m like, “Okay, cool.” But with the two guards, those are the two biggest question marks. And and we talked about that before the a lot of people talked about that before the season. Like I remember going into the year people like oh what do you think this team is so strong this roster is so stacked which it is but like what do you think our weaknesses are? And I said not necessarily weaknesses but the biggest question marks is the interior offensive line specifically at the guard position and it has been a big issue this year thus far and I think it’s bringing down the play of everybody else around them. So with the Baltimore Ravens, could we see a a change in the lineup with that? Again, John Har said they looking at everything, so it’s possible. Next question came from another patron I got 314KT say, “What’s up?” And everyone, I ain’t going to lie, this season has been really upsetting for us lately. I’m a big Ravens fan, but not only that, but I really hate losing specifically to teams we should have no reasons losing to. And with everything that’s been going on, I haven’t even been feeling like talking about the Ravens, man. Oh, I feel you, man. Well, I don’t feel I don’t I be talking about them every single day, but I get where you coming from. Anyway, he said, “I do have a question, though. You know, you’re really good at saying the right things to give us hope because yesterday I watched your video and you said number 98 Max Crosby and now I am seeing Ravens on Ray Ravens rundown about a trade room about a number 98 Max Crosby for 89 Mark Andrews and we getting Jeffrey Simmons. Lol. Man, I ain’t going to lie. I don’t want to do Andrews like that. But that pick he gave Houston reminded me of why I think likely needs to take over. Oh man. Oh, that’d be nice if we got both. We ain’t getting both though. That’d be nice though. Um, I think Jeffrey Simmons would be a lot more um likely than a Max Crosby. But oh boy, if they could get Oh, they could get both. That would be so great. But it’s just it’s not realistic for them to do that. Anyway, he said last one. Can we also agree that Joe Flacco better not put a Steelers jersey on or it’s over. I’m talk I’m talking about a sack the first play of the game. I mean, he might as well at this point. He done played for all three other AFC North teams. He just got to finish with the Pittsburgh Steelers and then he’ll be done. Next question came from my guy Mike B. He said, “Do you know how bad it looks on a front office and coaches to have to make changes to your starting squad in the middle of a second straight season? This is nothing more than trying to apply band-aids for a more severe issue.” Coaches deflecting blame, per usual. I just can’t figure out why we’re signing new defensive backs just to have Mike Green and Tavius Robinson in pass coverage. Anyway, he said, “Please make it at least make a little sense, lol.” Oh, it will. It will. Again, they not done them shipping a DA off. They are not. I guarantee they are not. Even if they don’t make a move before the Rams game, they certainly will during the by-week. Next question came from my guy Eli. He said, “What’s up, my guy? I got questions. First of all, I like the CJ Gardner Johnson pickup.” And it’s funny because on September 29th, he actually suggested we sign CJ Gardner Johnson. So, you might be the GM in disguise. Anyway, he said, “Uh, I’m confused on OA trade. We went from our pass rush being god awful to even worse. I get he wasn’t performing that great, but it’s better to have him than not to have nobody.” My main question is, does this mean that we’re going to go hit free agency for a couple of defensive linemen, either edge rushers or interior, or are we rolling with no pass rush and just hoping we can get interceptions? No. That again, they they they got to address it. They have to. There’s no way that you trade, you know, your pass rush is bad and there’s no way you trade away one of your your top pass rushers and don’t do anything in return. So, they’re definitely going to make a move off of that. Schematic changes. Next question came from my guy Kevin. He said, “What’s going on, Raven? Hope this email finds you well. been a rough football season Ravens and LSU fan with some questionable coaching. Anyway, I feel like with the DB depth increasing, it feels the defense is gearing to potentially moving Kyle Hamilton to more of a roaming role like he does so well. I wouldn’t feel too bad about it seeing he’s arguably our main defensive leader. I think it would help with the lack of communication as well. Oo, that’s a good point right there. He said also, I wonder why getting traded if we’ll see somebody like Simpson move to the edge. I feel like he shines off the blitz. So wondering if he could potentially have uh a shot at outside linebacker so there’s more flexibility since Zach or loves to drop edges into coverage so often. And he said I don’t understand why. He said I also feel Mark Andrews is leaving soon. Hopefully we can make a splash since he’s lost some value. I know yeah a lot of Ravens fans have been talking about him potentially being traded. That would certainly be something if Mark Andrews got traded. It doesn’t sound like a it’s farfetched though. It doesn’t sound like it’s anything crazy at this, especially since Isaiah like is healthy again. They still got Charlie Kola uh and they got um Zire Mitchell Peyton. Uh they could be like, “You know what, Mark, thanks for everything, but maybe they see value in another player on another team and they like, hey, that team may see value in Mark Andrew.” So that could do like a player swap sort of like they did with the Chargers to where they swap players and picks too. We’ll see. He said, “Um, I always had faith in this team with number eight under center, but it’s definitely a challenge.” Yes, it is. is and he said, “Love the videos. Appreciate it.” KJ Hamilton to linebacker. Next question came from my guy Chaz Ray. He said, “After seeing the two additional safeties get picked up, it made me think about what’s really the move.” And I only can think of one thing. Hamilton is headed back to the box and Gilman and CJ will be our safeties along with Stalks. Nice to see Hamilton and Gilman back together again. I don’t know about you, but to me, they have similar styles of play, which means we have ourselves another playmaker on the team. What are your thoughts on Hamilton getting back to the box? And just like this homemade chili, I’m out. Oh, that boy was eating yesterday. Um I uh with Kyle Hamilton just if this does allow him to just play more free then that’ll be a beautiful thing. And it’s funny because um I was listening to the presser from today and something that we talked about yesterday with both Kyle Hamilton but more so with uh Malachi Starks we talked about how CJ Garner Johnson when they added him and this was before the trade with um Lohi Gilman. Um, but when they added CJ Gardner Johnson, we talked about how that could help uh free up Kyle Hamilton so he could just get back to roaming around more, but it can alleviate a lot of pressure off of Malachi Starks and allow him to just think less and play more. And funny enough, today in the press conference, he talked about how this defense just needs to do that. They need to just be thinking less. And I was just like, “Ah, yeah, there we go.” Um, because again, it seems like things are being overthought. They’re they’re overthinking. um and they’re confusing themselves. They’re just it’s just been a mess as we all know. So hopefully this can start the change. I know this is not the end all be all. Still more moves to come, but hopefully this can start the change that they need again to save this season because it’s not

Baltimore Ravens have not been looking good this year. They’re currently sitting at 1-4 and that is a terrible record for an NFL football team. But as they wait on Lamar Jackson to return, they are getting healthier. It will take a lot for them to turn it around, but the AFC is wide open and their season can still be saved.

  1. Coaches coach, player's player the
game. There's a lot of communication going on however the end result, no pressure, poor tackling, players being BULLIED about with NO RETRIBUTION !!!!!
Other than Roquan Smith and Tyler
Lindenbuan there are no TOUGHNESS . " How many fumbles , interception , HARD HITS deliverd by the Ravens ? " " Where is Muilki Starks ? " He doesn't have to wash his uniform. Two new offensive guards equals no push up the middle. Can't run the football
can't throw deep equals a poor offensive line.Do you know what play like a RAVEN means, I can't tell. And if we don't REPLACE BOTH OFFENSIVE GUARDS it will
Get worse . Marcus Williams, what team does he play for ? Tougher times are on the way.šŸ˜–

  2. I'm gonna keep it real, win or lose against the rams, of course I would prefer to win but after the bye week, we basically need to go undefeated for the rest of the season to even have something to feel good about

  3. No engraven let’s make this very clear. It was said from multiple Baltimore Ravens sources that the team was ready to move on with hopes of drafting will Levis if the ravens and Lamar Jackson didn’t get a deal done……. I don’t have no faith in this coaching staff nor this general manager

  4. Marcus Williams and Eddie Jackson wasn’t the problem it’s the system thinking they can have 1 deep safety we so spoiled and has to it being ed reed the don’t safeties don’t come like we no more

  5. Great news of the return of our players. I hope to see more changes, but make sure our good players are not let go. I miss Owee’, we had a whole chant for him. But, nowadays if fans start complaining about you, it puts you on the back burner. The replacements have to show up and show out right away. #FactsšŸˆšŸ’œ

  6. Bruh we been knew this about Zach Orr. I’ve been saying he wasn’t the right choice since week 2 of last season. The players aren’t the problem and they never were.
