Around the 24 minute mark Mary Kay talks about Watson mentoring the young QBs and how she 'wouldn't be surprised if he gets in a football game'.

Given her role as foreshadower in chief has she been tasked to start preparing the fans for this by the Browns?

  1. He better fucking not.

The Browns get almost 44m in cap credit if he doesn’t play this year. We can completely get out of his contract with no damage thanks to that double-Achilles tear of his.

I don’t think Berry is a stupid person. No way he screws that up.

  2. I swear, if I were to find out that MKC were a bot account specifically designed by the Browns organization to pretend to be releasing information, it would be the least surprising thing ever.

She is like Ambiguous Browns PR AI Bot.

  3. The Browns really need to “read the room” on this one. The fan base has totally moved on from this Deshaun Watson experiment. Whether it’s Gabriel, Shedeur, or whoever else… we have moved on. Watson has no future, and should have no future, with this team. The experiment has failed. The Browns need to just take the loss, learn whatever lessons they need to learn from this, and put this all behind them. #next

  4. If he does, and does play the Browns, I am out. This franchise is ridiculous. There is no direction whatsoever. Sign a veteran, he stinks, trade him. Play the rookie. Watson has shown time and time again he is not the answer. What is the point of playing him? This team is being built for 2029. Watson plays and I am done watching them until he is gone. 100%.

  5. Anyone saying this is remotely feasible, better explain how this affects the $44 million in *”cap insurance”*.

No fuckin chance Andrew Berry allows this, if it means paying out effectively $10 million, off the cap per game.

  6. I’d hate to quit watching games again but I refuse to keep the TV when that menace is on the field. I can’t imagine the dude is healthy enough to even consider to get practice reps yet though. On top of that ome assumes we would rather get reps to the young guys , so unless they are both hurt I don’t see it

  7. My inner fan is slowly healing from the last couple years. This would make me apathetic again

  8. I think we need to audit this staff and front office if they really went to college at all.

  9. If this happens, every Browns fan should truly boycott this team.

If we destroy our cap relief by bringing Watson back on, after 40 years of being a fan I’m done. I can’t just keep watching a team that won’t get out of its own way and supporting a serial sexual predator. They made a mistake, owned it for the most part this year and have moved on. If they make that mistake again, I’m out man.

  10. Not something you want to hear from the person the team loves to leak information through

  11. Mary Kay is usually pretty consistent about starting team-fed information by mentioning her “sources are saying” or “she’s hearing” or language like that.

This sounded more like her opinion to me, and over the years I’ve learned that Mary Kay has as much football knowledge as an actual football.  I wouldn’t put much stock in this.
