The Islanders have hired longtime AEG Sports COO Kelly Cheeseman as their president of business operations and an alternate governor on the eve of their 2025-26 season. Cheeseman, a 2014 SBJ Forty Under 40 honoree, has spent virtually his entire career at AEG since joining the L.A. Kings’ ticket sales staff in 2001. He’ll make the move across the country later this month to start his new job on Nov. 1. TurnkeyZRG assisted the Islanders in their executive search.
