Wait, they’re not broadcasting the game at 3pm even though DAL vs CAR is on at 12?
It’s always Fox that does this. Shit network.
Hate to break to yall but almost nobody in Memphis are titans fans. Just like almost nobody in Nashville are grizzlies fans
There are more cowboys, Steelers, chiefs, and patriots fans in Memphis than titans
Starkville, MS getting the game but not Memphis is some fuckery
Why does new Orleans get the game? Wouldn’t an NFC South rival like the Panthers make more sense?
i feel like memphis should be more on the titans train than it actually is but they also fail to market people like tony pollard enough
But for some reason Cleveland and Boston get the game…
Was listening to a podcast that got into the weird Memphis year after Bud moved the team out of Texas, and how much Memphis hated playing host to what they felt should have been their team. They described TN like this:
“Memphis hates Nashville. East Tennessee hates everyone, including most of America and the government, because they’re a bunch of hill jacks. Nashville doesn’t notice anyone else, and nobody is from there anyway”
So it sort of makes sense.
Memphis might as well be part of Mississippi.
They’ve been salty ever since the Tennessee Oilers opted to play at Vandy instead of the Liberty Bowl.
