Doc Rivers had talked about perhaps Giannis playing the last two preseason games for the Bucks. And there’s the first points in the first three-pointer. Mentioned they beat Memphis, put up 128 points in that preseason game earlier this week. 50 points second quarter after giving up 42 or 43 in the first quarter to Memphis. Getting up more three-point attempts. That’s been a big emphasis. This wouldn’t shock me to see this team average 43-point attempts a game and crack that top five in the league. And Kate Cunningham now with a quick five points from each side. Here’s Kate Cunningham. Watch Kade going to do it off the off the dribble on a pullup. Comes around the screen from Stewart. And Kate Cunningham hesitation looking for Duncan Robinson. Was picked off off of a trade here by the Pistons. Cunningham has the last seven points. Well, he’s he’s got the game for it. He’s, you know, doesn’t expend a lot of energy in terms of athleticism dunking and jumping all over the place. This Kate has really been really been crafty. Larry Trent Jr. has started a hefty dose a couple of years in Houston. And there’s Isaiah Stewart knocking down the three. No offense to Joe Smith right out there. You’re going to going to send him out for popcorn pretty soon. Extra butter, please, Jiannis. Thank you. Paul Anthony gets a look. Miles Turner offensive rebound attempt gets it knocked away and just sailing to the hoop. Some of these new faces. Yeah. Right. And that’s where turnovers, you know, creating turnovers. They move they they create two more turnovers a game. That’s going to produce at least one plus three-point field goal attempt per game for him. The Pistons get it right back. Ali, you pass here to Paul Reed for the finish. Talk about, you know, improving their three-point volume. The Bulls went from one of the worst in the league to one of the best top five last year. You’re right. Last season they did over 40 three-point attempts per game for them. So, and the Pistons just sizing it up from distance. That’s another one from Green. A Piston shot four of eight from three. And the Bucks were seven of 10 from three. And that volume is a thing that you like. 10 attempts, you can attack close outs a lot more effectively. Quick hands forcing the fourth turnover here for the Pistons. And from behind, Reed gets Rollins. They all have their warm-up shirts on here at the beginning of the second quarter and Stewart finishes it off. The dime from Kate Cunningham. You know, get the Bucks out of what they want to do. Any kind of dribble handoff, then catch them sleeping at the their defensive end. I mean, there was no one back. Yeah. Ryan Rollins penetrating and Stewart with the rejection in and out dribble by Cunningham. Muscles it in. What a first half he’s having. He’s got 16 points with five turnovers. Boy, that’s a take there for Stewart who just pushed Ryan Rollins. So they’re forcing left making you throw across your body and then you’ve got that that that floater that that that that free safety on the weak side just looking that’s how you get your volume up. That’s playing with house money. You get a turnover, you look for that early three. First six seconds of the shot clock. Boy, Laneir has been looking for his shot. You start out at a smaller school, you put up some big numbers and you get an opportunity at a now a power four school in Tennessee. But it was crazy. I mean, he didn’t put up the Bill Cade. Pressure coming from the top of the key, but Duncan Robinson responds to the AJ Green pressure. Miami took over for us on Monday. Yeah. John Crowy and Bren Eric Green. And he took eight three-point attempts against Miami, made three. You want that volume to continue for AJ Green. Wow. Bobby Clintman’s getting his first few minutes. Doesn’t waste any time. That’s what you got to do in the preseason. You got to put them up, put the shots up. Got to make an impression. Figure out what what your niche is and fill it. Another turnover here for the Bucks. Nine turnovers here in the first half. Certainly one of the categories that they probably want to clean up here at halftime and left all alone. Paul Reed feels good to get some preseason. Bobby Chance off balance Clintman. That’s a tough tough shot. Derry Bird in the house early in the shot clock just like Doc Rivers has preached. And then Kate Cunningham once again no answer for him. Kate Cunningham got a little bit more in him here in the first half. Spins off of AJ Green off the glass. 26 points in the first half. Yeah, read that situation perfectly. Second half of the season and into the playoffs. Nine points for Gary Trent Jr. Duncan Robinson with the miss. Clinton is is trying to prove something here. The tip plays. He’s knocked down a three-point shot. Next preseason game after this one for the Bucks is Sunday in Chicago. You see Kade going back to the locker room and not starting this second half. You know, going hard right and then making a crosscourt pass with that left hand. Duncan Robinson threading. I’m serious. You all that pass. I love it. No, I’m laughing because I love the answer. There’s Holland with the finish. Perimeter defense by the Pistons. Switching every kind of ball screen, any kind of DHO dribble handoff, keeping the Bucks on the perimeter, not allowing them to get a piece of the paint. And one for Paul Reed. Young man out of Depal. Long lanky. Now, not a lot of Chris Le still young, just 21 years old. Smooth shot there by Jenkins. There is a place for him in this league. I’m not sure where it’s going to happen. If it’s going to be here or someplace else, we don’t know that quite yet. But his energy, you talk about culture, when you’re trying to develop this culture where you play hard every possession. You thought Milwaukee was his best situation was kind of looking around the league. He saw the Miles Turner acquisition and and what Milwaukee was trying to build. You think about the injuries that he’s had to deal with. He had a shin surgery a couple of years ago, had an ankle injury. his rookie season. His team won what 14 games a couple of years ago. Those questions were answered last year. Yeah. It resulted in his first allstar nod of his career and playing in 70 games, which is y one of the biggest numbers here for him just being consistent and and and being healthy. Good move by Laneir. But you see the way they cut him off on the baseline. Three defenders right there. Nice job, Tyler Smith on the recovery. Going to score the goal. did a great job on the recovery. Let’s see if that ball hit the backboard first. Yeah, it did. It did. Just just just not there. And Smith with the rebound. If he can puts it back to Smith with an and one chance puts a body on to does a nice job just just working It’s shot by Jenkins.
