He and Ian put us on their backs in the first half of this game.
He really was a great pickup. I believe he was one that many weren’t sure of. But he’s been a great this year!.

Can we have a 6-man rotation next year and only pitch Boyd at home?
Honestly? I thought he was going to get blasted. Hes been awful for weeks (we hoped his arm wouldn’t fall off but with his innings it was inevitable).
Clutch performance from Boyd. Getting ahead and not getting too cute with 2 strikes are key.
Thank God we get at least one more year of watching this man pitch at Wrigley

I wasnāt worried about Boyd tonight but I have to admit I said, āOh great- the rally killerā as Happ walked to the plate in the firstā¦
He hit the ball hard every at bat- hopefully itās time for one of his hot streaks.
