Charlotte Hornets vs Oklahoma City Thunder – FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS | Oct 09, 2025 NBA PreSeason

[Applause] Third preseason game for the Thunder. Training camp’s been going on for a little over a week. And away we go. The drive way off the backboard from Diabate. NSJ going to work. The spin move, the left hand, and he spins it home. Man, he is so good. So slippery. Wallace got shut off. Caruso the three on target and down. Just so many injuries to so many guys. They’re top level guys including Lamelo Ball who fires away that three and Lord a little late on the close out that allows ball and it’s Trey man former OKC Thunder player by going to win again. uses sire season to go fit right in. Bridges off the catch and he’s got himself a three. Bridges is one of those guys. He’s got a good solid three-point shot. How about that little nifty little pick and roll between guard to guard action, but I’m telling you, I’m pretty solid in my church league with the threes. That’s a nice looking move that time by Shay once again coming off a high screen. Dor trying to work his way down low as that ball snaps around to Harkstein. There’s another cut. Nicely done. There’s the passing you were talking about earlier. Michael Hartstein [Music] doing solid job of not allowing those easy buckets in the paint. D wide open for three. The pass from SGA. D got around, excuse me, SGA got around it then pulls up just outside the key. Got two more and had it knocked away. Good defense by the Hornets by James on the way. Ston speedy finish. It was a beauty. Just didn’t finish. Shay got it back. Fires away. And the rainbow three goes down. I tell you, got to watch the law, too. He’s a terrific three-point shooter. Had a pretty good night in South Carolina the other night. Charleston just put his head down and everything. Wiggins heavy pressure. Ston took it away and he’s got five quick points. Challenge remaining. Mark Dagel’s going to keep it in his pocket that time. The pass. Good anticipation. Wiggins took it away. The twoon one and Barnheis are able to finish it off. One of the reasons why Thunder have a 10-point lead. Oh, SGA. My goodness. A terrific start to his career in Utah. Now he’s a Hornet. Oh, Isaiah Jo going. They can crank it up in the third quarter. Was so big in the postseason as Wiggins first shot of the second quarter and he finds the bottom of the net. Miller gets that double team get right back to Plumbley. Jay Will bit on that shot fake and that leftly. It’s again about deepening those relationships, finding ways to make sure that all of those actions are second nature. There’s a second nature action by Kase Wallace anticipating the pass getting out on the break and laying it in. And for Case Wallace, he has seen a lot as Wiggins. They leave him wide open. So why not take the three? He does a good job of tiptoe rebounding folks. You don’t always need to get in the air. Just get those arms straight up like he does. Look at that leg from like a walk to me on that play. Oh man, nice move on the spin and scoops it home in the reverse man looking for more and he’s got more coming off the screen. Pulls up. SGA sets it up and Harstein amidst all kinds of traffic just went up and finding some leverage on the offensive end with the three ball. Chase just wide open. [Applause] [Music] Hard close out on Canibble and he’s able to score. He got by Wallace [Music] Shay trying to get it back up to Hornstein. There’s a turnover. Twoon one here. Miller gives it up. Dante got by Caruso. Come back here by the Hornets. Bridges and swept away to Caruso trying to beat the angle. Sometimes he does things, you know, so strategically you’re not really sure if it’s a steal or if it’s, you know, here in the second quarter. And there’s another one. LaMelo ball from the outside. Keeps that dribble alive. Good defender on L anticipating the pass. Russo’s got pressure on the backside. Dor’s going to take it himself. Slip it and hold the foul. All right. Thank you, Paris. Giving us that nice halftime update. Coverages need to improve. No SGA out on the floor. There’s another one of those threes. There was seven for Charlotte. Pressure here with the shot clock. Jay Will fires away. Somehow a miraculous shot by Gen Wallace. Is that going to count? one that nobody was expecting. I mean, Wallace had the great awareness to get the shot off with the shots winding down in the corner from Brandon Miller, former number two overall pick. He’s got a nice game [Applause] and Trey man ball in. He was able to carve out some space with his shoulder right there on Watts in the game. Nice hands, little soft hands, as it always has been is on the work that he puts into his game. He takes so much pride in that work that nobody sees. And that’s the same approach he’s taking in training camp this season. Alex, one of the really, I think, most exciting players in the NBA as a double continue to knock down threes. That’s backto- back threes. Barnheiser plays at that college for a couple years before moving on to Bradley University and eventually finds his way to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Just an unbelievable, you know, Aaron Wiggins, Isaiah Joe that are out there on the floor right now. I got to do the things that they’re not special in. You know, the things that they’re not doing at an extremely high level. They they do so many. He’s built like a tank, man. That’s a good point. He’s got a great body. I’ll tell you what, you out on the layup and Jay Wills going to the free throw line showing why he was drafted in the top five with that stroke. And again, it is going off balance against the ground. You just want to see functionality. You want to see the system. You want to see how guys are responding in different situations as well as the Hornets. So you don’t always want to, you know, show all of your teeth at once, but you just want to add to a lot of things that you’re trying to do out there both on both ends of the field. Passers, different scores, different ways to beat you within the offense. This is noted one-dimensional. Ston with 15. They’re all committed on the defensive end. Wiggins continues to go to work inside. He’s got 13 points. Just love the ambition on the dunk attempt. Balls jump back outside and another three for Trey man who solid night continues. The hustle to get back down the floor. That’s his fourth block of the night. Now he’s banging inside and he aims in the air bouncing off a salon for the deuce. He He just would not stop. And I know I don’t even need to say his name. You know who I’m talking about. At least on the Thunderflight at night is quiet. It’s just quiet. 238 remaining. Thunder now off by stickman. Haven’t been able to find points, but Gordon provides basically waiting on that pass to come to him. Gorman. And there’s another two. He’s looked smooth in the offensive game. The Thunder a minute to go. The Thunder trying to hold on to this preseason win. Nice dive by the foul Indiana one. Someone’s going to have to put up a shot here under five. Big time first all the way up to the rim for the jam and Austin picks his moment. Rebound Austin. And this is going to go down as a preseason victory as this last group to go into the game holds on. [Music] Wow. Oh yeah. [Music] [Applause]
