This is according to at least 3 sources.

1) Power Rankings Guru (make sure to scroll down to the Strength of Schedule Played section)

2) Team Rankings

3) ESPN Football Power Index (technically ESPN has us in 4th, but still)

Just wanted to equip everyone here with some ammo they can use in arguments about why Cam and the Titans might actually be better than they have looked so far this year. Really tough situation for a rookie QB (with BC as his HC) to be dropped into. Thanks, NFL schedule makers. Fun fact, the Bills and Colts are at/near the very bottom of the league no matter how you slice it.

Also, the Power Rankings Guru page lists SOS remaining and puts the Titans at 15th. Similarly, you can sort the ESPN table by REM SOS and see the Titans are 16th. So there is some hope that things will get easier.

  1. This is true, but let’s not forget that the 2025 Titans have been one of the worst teams in the history of the NFL. I hope they improve.

  2. Good to see that the schedule lightens up from here on. The way our schedule started had Cam facing a defensive gauntlet with a first month stretch of Broncos/Rams/Texans.

Also side note, how did the Patriots luck out into getting such an easy schedule? 26th SOS so far and then the easiest remaining schedule in the league is crazy.

  3. Excited to see what Cam can do against Vegas. Still expecting to be plenty frustrated, but against that team after stringing together several successful drives for the first time and getting the win, now I’m waiting for that breakout game. Hopefully this week!

  4. All things being equal, having a strength of schedule estimated to be right in the middle is a good litmus test for the team. Better than average, less than average, etc.

  5. At Raiders this Sunday will be a good indicator of how this team really is, especially if JC Latham is healthy.

  6. If they get Latham and Sweat back healthy and continue to protect Cam… They might surprise a few teams.

  7. We are awful. The SOS is irrelevant. There are no excuses for incompetence. Callahan is the worst coach in franchise history. Worse than even Whisenhunt. He has terrible game and clock management. Signed a season ticket holder whose name is on the board on the stadium at Gate 1.
