There were a lot of Cubs fans at games 1 and 2, but not quite enough to take over our stadium. I fear we are in big danger of losing our home field advantage this time though. The energy the Cubs fans had at Wrigley was crazy compared to what we had at our games. They were loud the whole game. Brewers fans need to bring that kind of energy to this game. Stop reselling your tickets. There’s hundreds of listings on Stubhub and Cubs fans are going to snatch them up. We must defend our house!

  1. Whatever. Even if it’s like 55-45, there’s no black magic fuckery that goes around in amfam compared to Wrigley

  2. Ironically, I’m sure Kevin McAllister was a cubs fan. He was north side Chicago

  3. Invader speaking – but driving up tomorrow, going with a buddy who got the tix. He’ll be in his Ben Sheets jersey; me in my Carlos Zambrano jersey. We jokingly discussed getting dual Carlos Villanueva or Jaime Navarro jerseys for the occasion.

This may sound odd – it sounds odd for me to say because I’ve managed to retain burning hatred of the Padres, Giants, Marlins, Braves, Mets, Cardinals, Dodgers, Diamondbacks and even Rockies all my life – but if game 5 goes the Crew’s way?

I do hope you guys go all the way…

The Brewers were always my favorite AL team before the league realignment – not the least of which/because of the now lost to the mists of time White Sox rivalry, plus growing up when the Cubs were awful outside of 1984, Molly, Yount, Stormin Gorman, Coop, etc…

No return cap doffs expected or requested, but hoping for a fun game and while I hope my fellas come out on top, I’m at peace with the result either way. 2016 made me soft, I guess. And if it’s not us? I’ll be hoping you guys can hoist a banner and get to be made soft by finally climbing the mountain to the peak, too.

Now… back to being a hated FIB 🙂

  4. Too bad. They should’ve won one of the last two if they didn’t want this to happen.

Maybe the Cubs fans taking over your stadium while your team chokes away a 2-0 series lead will cause Attanasio to care, even a little.

  5. I’ll take out my lucky jersey that I wore during the 2011 and 2018 NLDS playoffs. It’s a bit dusty but just found it today after cleaning the house. It should do the trick.

  6. Did you attend any of the games in person? By all accounts the energy was high here too but TBS was cutting the crowd noise.

  7. I hope the Cubs bus gets a flat and they have to sleep over night at some cheap roach infested motel.
