The Miami Dolphins finally got a win in the season and this is why. It’s because they finally stopped hurting themselves and played a full three phases at a high level. They were negative five in the turnover differential coming into this game. They won three nothing in that margin today, forcing three fumbles, one on special teams, two from the defense. And the Dolphins offense didn’t turn the ball over. Miami was the better coach team today. They were the better prepared team today. I mean, the Jets had 11 plus penalties in this game. Just simply not going to be able to win in the NFL when you turn the ball over three times and have 11 plus penalties. Miami did a good job of taking advantage of that and getting on the board with a win. And with an easy schedule in October on paper, you can really start to stack some wins. And let’s hope they’re able to do so.

They won by 7, at home, with 10 days off, against the Jets who had 10+ penalties for 100+ yards, turned the ball over at the 1 yard line going into score, fumbled 2 more times giving them + field position, and had a very iffy offensive PI go their way. Again with ALL of that they won by 7 VS THE JETS and lost Hill…… this team is COOKED. The literal worst case Scenario is gonna happen. They’re going to win 6-8 games (all against horrible teams) and get a pick in the 12-16 range and they’ll run it back with the entire group next year.
And the Refs helped the dolphins with bad calls. The Jets out-rushed them out threw them. Yes they won, but that only means unless their opponent beats themselves the Dolphins won't win any other way. Those are just facts!

The Dolphins right tackle should be a bull fighter with his Oley blocks or at least try to block. Grier reminds me of Matt Millen when he was the Lions GM, he drafted wide receivers early in every draft, but he neglected the offensive line. Great teams build a great offensive line first.

If we are ever going to get this organization right they need to fire just Grier and hire a GM that will build an organization from the ground up with people he knows and get along with. If we fire everyone and hire everyone separately they we are just wash rinse and repeat. It starts at the top and let him/her build from the ground up. Need a good foundation to have solid structures.
