Baker Mayfield at 4-1 100% is in line to be MVP of this league. And you could make the case through five weeks he is that. You know why the team believes they have a chance to win? And I’ll say him by his full name. Baker Freaking Mayfield. You say his middle name is Rean. Yeah, Rean. Well, he’s got to put an F in front of the Rean. He’s He’s Baker Frian Mayfield. The Buccaneers are the first team in NFL history with four wins in their first five games of a season when tied or trailing in the final minute of regulation. But Tampa Bay is also the first team ever to win four of its first five games by three or fewer points. When you got a quarterback that just gets it done, heart, soul, arms, and legs. Baker Mayfield, 379 passing yards on a 29 of 33 day. He missed on four passes, two passing touchdowns, no picks, a pass rating of 134.7. And the self-made aspect of this, too. Can’t overstate it. God, I love this guy. Here’s an opportunity, Baker. You get to follow Tom Brady. Nobody believes in you. We do. You do. Your family does. That’s it. That’s the circle of trust. Your own personal circle of trust in us. We’re the only ones that believe in you. Here’s the opportunity. And by the way, when you take advantage of it, you know, we’re not going to give you the 55 million that these young kids who are drafted a little bit lower than you or drafted in the same spot as you that haven’t done a damn thing in the playoffs in this league. We’re going to give them 50s something million dollars, but not you. And he takes that saying, “That’s it. That’s all I need. If that’s all you’re going to give me, I’ll take it.” And look what he’s doing with it. Yeah. Thumbs up is right. God, I love this question. Cannot get enough of Baker. Freaking Mayfield. Or is it, pardon me, Baker freaking freaking freaking I love it. Just change your name. Baker. It’s easy. Go to a court. You got people to do this for you. Put an F in front of your middle name because that’s the way you’re playing

I remember when the Vikings were winning by one score games, and 4th quarter comeback just a few years ago… And the media kept saying “they’re not for real, this is not sustainable, reality catches up with you”. But now it’s a bigger market team, and so it’s “unbelievable, Baker is an MVP, we’ve never seen this before….” media narrative always wins.

  6. Tua getting 54 mio$, Baker gets 33 mio., Brady also took less than he couldve, but h wanted a top team around and rings are worth much more than some millions.

  8. Amazing how fickle we are. Everybody for years thought he was a total flop, even though he always had a heart bigger than a watermelon. It's amazing how being on the right team with coaches who respect you, players who value you, and fans who believe in you, this is always who he was, and the media tryed to tear him apart and lied about him, now he's winning in spite of them and now they say I told you so, flakes.

  13. Don’t forget that one of his incompletions was him throwing it out of bounds when he couldn’t find anyone and the lanes were closed.

  20. The Bucs believed in Baker? Why did they make him compete with Kyle Trask then? 😂 Rich you get a little too into your story telling you actually forget the story. I think the Bucs had Trask as QB1 too before the compeititon started then they were neck and neck for awhile. So the Bucs believed in Mayfield? Give me a break.

  21. Eagles fan here but, I have to say honestly even though Tampa lost to us they will be the better team at the end of the season. Along with Detroit may be the NFC Championship Game. 😢
