Dallas Stars Team Packs to Celebrate the start of the NHL Season!
[Music] Yes, cue the pantara. We are about to score with some Dallas Stars team packs. That’s right. This is a very specific episode. Um, I opened one, tried to make it an episode and thought, you know what? I needs a little more beef. Better go back and get a couple more. These are Dallas Stars team packs in or in honor of their seasons starting tonight. I’m actually posting this as they are starting to or I’m I’m recording this as they are starting their preeason tonight. And uh as you know, I work for the Dallas Stars at their practice facility. They’re we are currently in the middle of training camp. It has been a lot of work for me. I’ve worked 14 straight days, but tomorrow is an off day for everyone, including me. and I’m very much looking forward to finally watching some football on a Sunday. But let’s check these team packs out. They are uh for sale at um I got these at uh Shields and they were $12.99 and from the one I opened previously, which you will see later. I already think these are a little overpriced, but we’re here for the content. Check to see if there’s anything better in other ones of these. So there’s on the package it says let’s go back 15 authentic trading cards of teams packs. No two packs will be the same. Let me just tell you right now if you go to court cousins on eBay you will find many team sets like this of all the four major sports. And I usually do 20 or 25 cards in my team packs and they’re only about three to5 dollars at max. So, I know that if you’re interested in this, this is a good way to sell the packs that we sell on eBay. Let’s take a look. We got Jamie Ben Artifacts right there. Always good to see the captain. Got Andrew Kaggliano right there. Another one of the captain Jaime Ben. Radic Foxa returned to the team this year. There’s Bill Garin in a good throwback artifacts. That’s a cool one. Alex Golagoski right there. Miro Heskinan. Rupe hints John Clingberg Essa Lindell Auntie Met Metanin I don’t know this is a time when I wasn’t really following this team so 0304 anyway Johnny Oduya we got the same card in another pack Jacob Peterson Alexander Radulov who I really enjoyed in his time with the Canadians and stars Ryan and Sudter. And lastly, Marty Turo. As you can see, nothing too special in here. No variants, nothing nothing bananas. It’s all base. And the fact that they are selling those for that much, I think, is is kind of kind of disingenuous. 15 cards for that much is is a lot to pay, especially when it’s mostly base and not like extremely cool or rare base at all. Like, just just is what it is. All right, here we got Tyler Sean on the front of the with the Allure. And then we’ve got Sergey Zuv with the old the old school uh throwback of the Motorus as they call it. Jersey. There’s Jamie Ben the captain. Radic Fox again. Same card we got in the last pack. Bill Garin. kind of an interesting SP but still base Dennis Guranov Miro Heskinan Rupe hints. This one’s just thick. I forgot how thick those SPS are. All right, here we go. We got a John Clingberg in the ice. I mean, this is just a base ice, but at least this is something that not everybody got, so it’s pretty cool. Uh Carrie Linan, we got Mike Madano there on the rookie update. That’s a fun card. probably the best one today. Johnny Oduya again for the third time. Spoiler alert, you will see this card coming up in the one after. Corey Perry, Jason Robertson, Ryan Sudter, and the Marty Turo. Once again, uh you know what? These just these aren’t worth it. Like I don’t care what your favorite team is or whatever. For 15 bucks, just all this base, um you can do better on eBay with other sellers. But of course, check out Court Cousins uh because we sell team sets like this but with usually some better stuff. I throw in some variants. I got some rookies in there. Um this is just all straight base and uh for $12.99. Not really worth it, but wanted to celebrate the Dallas Stars here as we go into this. You’ll see that third pack next. And don’t pay any attention to the guy in the video. He’s going to tell you that we’re just opening that one. He doesn’t know about these two we just opened right here. But uh still fun if you uh need to get somebody a quick birthday gift and they like a certain team and you really like sports cards. This will fit the bill. But you can definitely do better on eBay on probably whatnot as well. Uh but hey, wanted to do a special one here with just Dallas Star stuff. That is it for me. Thanks for coming and go Stars. I work at the Dallas Stars practice facility and uh I don’t open a lot of hockey on this channel right now, but I will when some new stuff starts coming out. I found these when I went to Shields and I thought, you know what? Let’s just do one for the home squad. Let’s do one for Dallas Stars, folks, because even when I open hockey, I don’t get a lot of Dallas Stars. And this is supposed to be a team pack, apparently. And so, let’s see what we got in here. Let’s Let’s just give it a rip and give give it a shot. Be one of these old school cases I haven’t seen. I selected this one because Rupe Hint is on the front. He’s one of my favorite players. Just love saying the name Rupe. It’s a lot of fun. But that is a shiny allure variant. All right, so let’s see what we got in here. We’ve got a Mason Marchment. Recently left to join Seattle, and we will miss him on the team in his stylist mustache. Hey, there’s Joe Pavvelski. I was hoping he was going to come back last year. Uh but uh he’s enjoying retirement. And uh yeah, medal. It’s a good one. Johnny Oduya, we taking it back here. I do collect all stars, but I’ve only started since uh I moved here a few years ago. So, some of these older cards I don’t have. There’s Yuri Leton, a retired number and a great of the Dallas Stars franchise. John Clingberg, not a great of the Dallas, although he was good when he’s here. It’s a Wyatt Johnson right there. One of the best young players in the game today, if you ask me. Um, actually, if you ask a lot of other people as well. There’s Arupe Hints as well. Luke Glenn Denning being all Luke. Dennis Guranov Radic Foxa who is returning to the team this year. He’s a fan favorite in this area. I’m I he wasn’t on the team when I got here so I look forward to seeing him in action with the Stars. Cody Eeken right there. This is a pretty good design for Upper Deck if I might interject. That is pretty solid. Trevor Daly. Ty Dandria. I met his parents once. They came in uh to town, went to a couple of games. Nice people. Uh then we got Fabian Brunstrom, who I am not at all familiar with. And uh probably Stars fans aren’t either. Looks like he played maybe one season. Jordy Ben, who is uh his brother Jamie Ben is the captain of course of the Dallas Stars. And Jordy Ben is uh one of our coaches. have seen him around a lot at training camp. Uh training camp going on as I’m recording this. Um but we’re putting this out on opening day, so hopefully the stars get off to a good start. Um and yeah, there it was. It’s a little team set from uh from Shields. Some good stuff in there. You know, if you’re a collector of of a team, there’s a lot of bass in here, but you know what? I don’t have a lot of this base. So, uh kind of fun. Good times. And uh speaking of the Benz, by the way, just real quick, uh one of the things I thought was amazing that I saw during training camp when it’s time to pick up pucks. Um Captain Jamie Ben, he doesn’t shy away. He was doing it. And you’d think with all the years in the league and being the captain, he’d have the young guys do it. But no, he was out there and picking up pucks and putting them on top of the net before we had to move it so we could make ice for him. And man, I just to me, that’s that’s the kind of things a leader does. So I think that’s pretty cool. And you know what? I wanted to do one special for the Dallas Stars fans. So, this was it.
