I went to my first Panthers game last night and it was awesome. I sat in two different sections and I'll explain that in a bit.

  • For anyone going to their fist game, DO NOT worry about parking at the mall. I was a little nervous about since I'm from out of town and not familiar with this area but after reading a few posts here on Reddit, I decided to give it a shot. To and from the mall parking lot, I literally walked with hundreds and Panthers fans. They closed Red Snapper Rd for the fans to safely walk and there's even one of those police towers watching over the cars at the mall but that whole area felt completely safe. You'll see where I parked on the map I attached.
  • I went in the team store about 45 minutes before the game started and I was surprised they didn't monitor the number of people they let in the store. I had to get out of there and I'm usually good with dealing with crowds. I will say that everyone in there was pretty courteous at least.
  • My tickets were purchased on SeatGeek about 5 days before the game. At the time, SeatGeek had the best deal on club level seats in section CL20 for $70 in the front row.
    • The club level seats are very comfy, but as with other club levels I've been to, there aren't enough bathrooms.
    • There also wasn't another place to buy merch on the club level to offset the crowd from the main gift shop.
  • Since I was solo, I was curious if there were any discounted seats available in the lower bowl after the first period. So I opened up TickPick and saw one seat on center ice in section 118, row 14, seat 7 for $18! I quickly purchased it and it took about 5 minutes for them to get delivered. It was so much better being that close to the action than the club level, even though the club level was perfectly fine.
  • I never eat at a sporting event so I can't give any thoughts on the food and only bought an overpriced Smart Water.

  1. The actual parking lot was so bad if you run slightly late you basically have to park in a “not a spot”

  2. How was your experience going solo? There are weekday games I want to go to & my friends understandably don’t want to come with because it’s a work day the next day, but I’m nervous about going alone.

  3. Just FYI for the next time you go, every fan is allowed to bring one sealed bottle of water in! This is how we save money at the games.

  4. You can turn an $8 soda into a $50 cocktail with a few smuggled mini bottles from the liquor store on Flamingo.
