Kel’el Ware Cooks Wemby Again! Miami Heat Get Monster Night From Ware and Kasparas Jakučionis!
Welcome on in guys. Tobin here with you and thanks for checking out the channel. You may be wondering to yourself, hey Tob, you look pretty chipper for coming on after another Miami Heat preseason loss. Well, let me tell you something, ladies and gentlemen. The scoreboard may say that the Miami Heat had lost. But let me tell you something. The franchise feels like it won big time tonight. And I I have to say this. I don’t think I’m being ridiculous when I say I had more fun watching today’s exhibition than I did in any regular season game last year. Today was a freaking blast. An Adam Simon legacy game if I have ever seen one because this man’s first round picks were cooking. Okay, particularly his last three picks and it was quite impressive. And let me tell you something, dude. The warehouse is big time open right now because Kel Wear, our favorite Kryptonian. Look, I gotta tell you something, guys. All right, I know this has been a big point of contention. I’ve tried to like really not get too crazy about this with his with writing up Kell’s motor, writing his, you know, oh, he’s he’s going to be lethargic. He’s going to be another one of these voters. I don’t think Eric Spolstra is rats off a ship on this guy. I think he’s trying to find the right things to get his mind right. But I really believe this, and this is something about Kell that I think is been noticeable. This dude’s a little bit of a play up to his competition type of player. Okay, there’s something about big time matchups. Now, playoff series with I was saying he’s 20, but there’s something about this matchup about Victor Wemama that seems to get the juices flowing for number seven. And Kell in this game, I mean, what he did to start that second quarter, my word. Oh my goodness. Fadeaway three, falling away three nearly into the bench, then gets a forces a block on Victor Webbyama, which leads to a Haime Hakez Jr. dunk. Eight straight points to open up that second quarter. And I just dude, there’s just there’s some something about him. There’s something about Kel Wear. And let me and and every national podcaster, every national outlet has Victor Wimbeyami. You had ESPN rank him the fifth best player going into the league. They they they are swooning over this guy. And I’m not here to say they should or shouldn’t feel how you want to feel, but there’s something about having a guy and the Miami Heat, maybe having the lone guy in the league. All right, maybe you know Chad Homegrren a little bit, but you know, there’s something about having a guy in Kel Wear who has the special tools to go up against that particular person. And somebody was like, “Yeah, it’s kind of shades of Bam Triple J a little bit.” I’m like, I got to be honest with you, it’s a little bit reminiscent of it’s shades of the early matchups of Bam Giannis onto Takmpo. Like those early matchups where Giannis was like, who the hell’s this guy who can stick with me and physically do everything that I can do now? Do that and then add about half a foot because that’s that’s what we’re that’s what we’re working with here. And man, Kell was just an absolute animal out there today. He I mean, he was unfreaking believable. I’m doing this not boots on the ground tonight. So, I’m coming around after the game. I am very curious to see what Eric Spoler’s press conference’s uh comments are. But, let’s take a little look. The Miami Heat end up losing this game. Final score 112107. Um, but that second unit that was particularly led by Khell, Casper’s Yakonis, and Haime Hakez Jr., those three guys were dynamite tonight. They were so damn good. and outside of Haime who had to play with those uh the starters who kind of stunk up the joint. Um the plus minuses on these guys. I mean Spoke cannot say anything plus minus. He might want to I’m curious to see I would like to know is is because Spo has been feeling a little froggy. I know people have made it a whole Kell thing but I would be curious to see what he’s got to say about his starters tonight because they were not good. Um particularly every outside Norman Pal had a good run. You know what his best run was when he was playing with the second unit. Um but regardless, let’s look at Kell’s final numbers. He was by far your star of the game for the Miami Heat. 29 points in 26 minutes, 12 rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block. He was plus 10, 12 of 19 from the floor, three of six from downtown, and two for three from the free throw line. Just an absolute just an absolute monster today. He was so damn good. And then that as if that wasn’t good enough, dude. Let us talk about Casperis Yakonis. Okay. Aka the ghost. Aka all cast no breaks. Aka Casperis Yakones. Look, is it strong to call him new Goron Dragage? Perhaps. But I do want to say one thing and I mean this from the bottom of my heart. Thank you, Goron. Thank you. This toutelage, you taking him under your dragon wing. It’s beautiful. Goi was in the building tonight. A legend. Goran Dragage. Okay. I don’t think I’m going to immense words when I say that. Okay. Goron Dragitch is a legend. Okay. All right. This kid has some vision on him. Okay, it’s it’s it is it’s it is breathtaking the passes that this guy was having. Oh my goodness. And it started like he comes out boom right off the gate. Big steal led to a Keshot Johnson slam then gets a leads to another turnover. You’re just like, “How about this dude?” And then he’s like just got this vision. He sees Haime Hakez cutting nice little dish around Victor Wemyama and Haime Hakez Jr. who also has to get his flowers tonight because he just he deserves them. Haime’s going. He rises up, not scared of Webinyama by the rim, throws that puppy down. I was like, really impressive. I don’t know if it’s what Nico said the other day about, you know, um, you know, haven’t seen him jump in a year, but Haime had some bounce, dude. I mean, that that dude looked like looked like a kangaroo out there. The way that he was going, it was something. It was something. But that that start of the second quarter, my god, it was it was something. And then Kel Wear, I mean, he was just he was he looked so damn good. I mean, and Wemanyama not comfortable all night. Weama was whining the referee by the time the the night was ending. He was, you know, and he he was not impressive. What did he have tonight? Let’s look at the old WebMy’s numbers. 10 points in 22 minutes, four and nine, 0 for one from downtown, two for four, four rebounds, five assists, one steal, two blocks, but five turnovers tonight. Did much better in the second half and and kind of uh got his team back on track. The Heat starters, that’s the one lone concern. I guess I’ll deter there for a second before uh going crazy over Cass. Um starters not good tonight, particularly Bam out of Iowa. Um, Bam ended his night with, I believe, a jumper over he had a he has been in a big time offensive funk. He did end the uh his stint today with a jumper over Wemby and he nailed a three, but he has not looked good in the preseason offensively. He’s looked like bam defensively. I we literally never concerned about any criticisms of Bam are always his offense. I mean his defense he may be the best on the planet. Okay. Um and mind you Bam takes these matchups against the deep boys he takes those very personally and he had his good moments against Benyama as well. Um, but the shooting slump to start the season and know it’s the preseason, so that’s why I’m not going to lose my mind over this. Um, we can’t afford that. Okay, we as Heat Nation cannot afford that. Okay, your team, Bam Adabio, cannot afford that. and hopefully he can get this out of his system. But but the last person on earth who the Miami Heat can afford a slow start from is Bam Adobio offensively. So I’m going to say this nicely. Fix it. And that’s all I’m going to say about it for the rest of the show. But fix it, dude. Okay? Because I’m not I’m not dealing with another start of the season slumpskies. Okay? That’s it. Moving on. Let’s get back to Casper’s Yakonas being amazing because Goran Dragage fixed him. No, I honestly don’t think Goran Dragage fixed him. He may have fixed him, but I will say this to those puppets and those dummies and as the great Tony Furantinos, the pseudo experts who buried this kid’s career at the California Classic, not even the real summer league, and said, “This kid doesn’t look anything. He’s not going to be good. giving him D’s, grading the Heat’s off season poorly, saying the Heat made a mistake. I I I didn’t Everybody else, they just made a pick. Nobody got critical grades except for this guy who fell to the Miami Heat. He was a lottery pick, falls to 20, and everybody wants to bury his career. Okay. And I’m not here to put him in the freaking rafters with a preseason game, but you’re telling me you don’t see the talent with that kid? And yeah, there were some turnovers at the end of the game like when things were really getting to nutcrunch time for sure, but this chemistry that this this young man showed today, all right, what he showed today with Kel Wear, dude, what can you say? What can you say about the the vi he he like the way he was able to set him up was so sick. But probably the sickest part of the game today came right before the fourth quarter. He just got into the paint. Beautiful find to Kell right over the rim. And then right back Kell returns the favor. finds Cass, sidestep three, bang, gets on the board, and you’re just like, “Damn, dude. These boys are these boys are looking right. They’re looking good.” Um, it was very impressive. It was very impressive. And and you know, Cass, these these linkups with Kel Wear were a plenty. And in tonight’s game, Casper Yakonis in his 25 minutes was two of seven. Miss uh he was one of five. Most of his shots were from three. Had a beautiful he had the sides of three and had a beautiful turnaround jumper. Those were his makes his makes. And he made three free throws. But the one that stands out, I mean the rest of the the So he finished with eight points, 10 assists. So, we had 10 assists. I think six of them were to Kell. Six, seven of them were to Kell. Uh, two steals, one block, three turnovers. Still, it’s still a Pete, but a team best plus 16 today in 25 minutes. Impressive. Very, very impressive for Casper’s Yakonis. Really, really great. Um, yeah, man. That was that was the entire second unit really played well. Everybody on that was a plus except for Haime. And I’m not blaming for Haime for that cuz Haime had a weird thing. I don’t know what happened to Drew Smith. Um I’m sure Spo will explain it. Mind you, he is coming off an Achilles. Maybe there’s a minutes restriction. Um but Haime where the game really swung in that second half, the start of the third quarter, Haime was out there with the starters and the starters did not play well today. Wiggins and Powell got off to good starts and then and then Powell got going again once like all the starters got out of there. He uh he looked great. Uh Yoic didn’t do much today. He had some good defensive stands, but what he took three shots today. That was it. Um you know, you look at the rest of the stars, they were all in double digit attempts, so they were getting their shots up, which is an interesting thing. You know, this is going to be the uh the interesting conundrum that that unit will have. Um but yeah, not much. But he did have a a sick ass pass to uh probably his highlight of the game. He had a sick ass pass to Drew Smith for a three. um that stood out. But Haime Hakez, man, uh looks like he’s got his bounce. Um certainly in this second unit got the ball in his hands a little bit, but uh you know, and and really had a killer miss at the end. I mean, he I don’t know how they missed this. They had a chance to tie it up. Uh they had a steal. They had numbers breakaway. Keshaw Johnson gets to Yakonas to Hime Hakez, rolls around the rim, spins out, and uh that was that was that was a rough one. That was definitely a rough one. And the Spurs would end up pulling away. Um the Heat were trying some threes late. Bism was Bismac Bismak Bambbo was in the game late against uh Kel Wear, which was I was like, man, that’s something. Um but oh, I mean, Haime looked really good today, man. made some tough buckets. He had a tough fadeaway. Uh really playing with a lot of confidence. He’s looked he from the third quarter of the last game to now like he looks okay. We’re starting to recognize that Himea Hakez Jr. So really great stuff there. But between Keller with 29 and Haime with 19, that was uh those are all really great things. Norman Powell finished with 18 points today. Um, so yeah, those are those are kind of your big highlights from today, man. But I had a blast watching this freaking game. Really did. Really, really did. I I think today was uh was was very enjoyable if you’re a Miami Heat fan. There’s no uh there’s no ifs, ands, or buts about it. It really was uh it really was a blast. And you know, I’m excited. I’m I’m I’m pretty revved up. This is why I’m excited about this season. There are a lot of new players and there are a lot of young guys who like I think and pop. I think that that is exciting and I think that’s probably why I had as much fun tonight as I did. Um but that was that was a really enjoyable game. Really enjoyable game. I know that you don’t have a preseason win yet. Disappointing they couldn’t pull it out, I guess, but all in all, I think the big picture wise that was that didn’t feel like a loss tonight. Felt like an organizational win for the Miami Heat. Yeah, it it definitely felt like an organizational win for the Miami Heat. And then, you know, it’s going to be interesting. You know, look look I think that the interesting thing with Kell is going to be like, look, dude, you got something. We all know we got something here. Okay, this dude is like there’s only one Webmanyama, but there’s this guy is as close to physically matching those tools that there is. And yeah, Webmany is an absolute freak. like he had this reverse alleyoop over Bam that you’re just like Bam can’t he can’t do anything with that that’s not fair what is able to do where is as close to having the tools to stop that just because of how he big he is and whatever they need to do you can’t give up on somebody like this and everybody around the league is going to see this and every time the Heat get into trade talks they’re going to ask for this I these physical traits are too special. They have to find a way to get this guy pulling in the same direction as everybody else. I’m not worried about it yet, though. He’s 21. He’s young. And I don’t think that Khal Wear is a I really don’t. I think he’s a I do think he’s a pretty he seems like a pretty mildmannered humble guy. He’s had to deal with some of this stuff before. Mike Woodson has said like his parents have told him do whatever you got to do. His mom told go do what you got to do, you know, get after him, whatever. And so yeah, you may have to tinker with how you get the piece. And we know that sevenfooters are just a they are a different breed. They are they live life amongst the trees that we don’t understand. But I do think that this guy and and even his teammates have said it. Wiggins said this like Wiggins is not a guy who’s like throwing flowers. Wiggins told me on media day he’s like, “Man, if I was impressed with anybody, it was probably Kell.” Um, you know, I think there are a couple of guys on the team in Spain and Ban that want to play that bad cop to always keep it going and and and and get after him. But I think that there can be enough support within that locker room of love too that can harbor a lot of that great stuff. And you could even see like it was really cool when he had uh one play that that was when Cornet was in. He gives up the three. He’s like he’s going to go for three and he’s like nah. Drives that and he like Statue of Liberty glides that thing puts that uh puts that puppy right in the rim and the the bench was electric with it man. They loved it. It’s infectious. So, um, yeah, the heat that he got some exciting talent, right? Like that’s the thing, you know, expose and suppose said this like we got guys that got a chance to pop. Um, but this has been this has been a fun thing to see between where these guys go. Um, and man, to see what Yakonas did today was was uh really cool. really really that was a hell to not get him for a couple of games and deal with the injuries, but they said that he had a a nice camp where he was a dog competing. He did not look overwhelmed. He did not look sped up. He did not look uh you know guys are going to scout him. They don’t know him yet. So, there’s going to be an adjustment period, but man, that’s a that’s a that’s a hell of a debut for Cass, man. Really really fun. And Haime, awesome. Awesome to see that that uh that there’s there’s a lot of life still left in there as well. So, really really fun night everybody. Really fun night in the in the Heat’s house. And um I’m not going to lie, I had the gooseies.

Kele has Wembys number
Until we have an unquestioned alpha i feel like we'll be a play in team every year. A group of great role players without a leader
Jaime is back baby, Jakojones gave me Gooseyss
His problem is he likes to play hard when he has a great opponent to play against. If he played liked this against the bums he could be great just has to do it every game. From wemby and jokic to plumby and other bums
Enjoy the young guys' development this year because this Heat team is gonna be bad
we really need to talk about bam more, he looks VERY VERY bad there first 3 games
Tobin ,you are drinking what they give you, start talking about the job Bam is doing, he talks about building habits and being 1% better every day. Dude has been skating by for too long, he has better interviews than games…… talk about that, and let him hear that. Bam has to be Better and more consistent
I swear Ware be looking way better than Bum
As a heat fan we celebrate losing now just cause we see good in the game smh 🤦🏾
Aka Kasparas Ja-cojones took me OUT
Impressed by Ware and Cass but I feel like Jamie always balls out against weaker competition.
Bam is trash
Goosies on top of goosies on top of goosies
Bam in an offense slump? Nooooo, no way, who could've foreseen 😂😂
I know it's only preseason but why are there so many empty seats?
Bam should be making about 35 a year, no way he’s making in g 50 mill a year
Yeah I watched it too it was fun watch didn't even felt like a lost when Kas showed his skills and Waren had a good game again they both so young!
Killer Kas changed the energy of the entire team the moment he checked in the game . First of all he is a defensive pest and he is strong . While guarding his man he will contest satellite opposing players if they get close without loosing his cover every single time . Him and Pelle were looking damn good together defensively . What also impressed me was his decision making , has a great eye for the floor . Very promising debut for the rook . Jaime didn’t shift his focus until Pelle checked in and made an immediate impact . Larsons contribution defensively is severely underrated here . He has a Kyle Lowry like way of probing an offense for fouls to get the ball going the other way . Jaime needs to be aggressive from the moment he checks in , not from the moment he thinks he’s starting to look bad . He is a far more talented player than anybody on that spurs roster yesterday with the exception of perhaps Wemby . Bam is keeping his foot off the throttle for “reasons” . Idk how many times we have to see this before “fans” recognize the pattern . Wiggins continues to be the most glaringly lethargic component to the Heat offense . In short Keshad was by far the Bum of the day , he let the other Johnson Keldon bully beat his own last name right out of his hands . I despise the way he moves his legs defensively and plays so damn timid . I thought he was supposed to be an athletic dog ? Looked like a shook one last night .
Bam distracted with WNBA Finals? 😊
Kasparas I thought was a bust based on summer league and the fact that he dropped in the draft. Today he's starting to change my mind. Having a 6'6 point guard is something the Heat has always needed. Kid looked great tonight.
The Heat need a couple of assistants that have prior head coach experience, especially with creating an offense and developing a point guard. Spo has no clue. Heat need to clean house with regards to the assistants.
JJJ is fool's gold. Unless he develops his 3. He's just wasted minutes.
Bam is way overpaid. He shouldn't be off the table in a Giannis trade talk.
Bam as the “lead guy”, “franchise player”, “number 1 option” is about to open heat fans eyes to how far he is from those top players …
I am not anti-Bam, but I am anti-paying GOOD players like GREAT players. But since people want to keep justifying him making 50 mil a year for all the “little things he does” on the court, and also put him in the same category as one of our franchises best players… ok go prove it. Let’s see how you look in the playoffs without Jimmy turning into Prime Jordan to carry us
Drugs gotta go he looked lost and didn’t contribute anything
The Heat will lose alot more .
Bam BETTER GET HIS SHIT TOGETHER OTHERWISE HIS ASS CAN BE TRADED
bam is awful, not sure what they see in him. hes never been a good offensive player and now declined in defense too and they don't want to include him in Giannis trade.. smh
Now if we can get 10 pts and 10 rebs from bam.
Kasparas jacojones 😂
I’m expecting Ware to have a good season by next season year#3 he should known as our best player and all star he really that good I hope Spo don’t drop the ball with this one
13:30 67
WE STILL LOST WE ASS
Spo needs to stop scolding Ware and scold Bam, and call him out. Maybe he would play better after.
bam is an bum on offense
Very concerned about Bam
Adebayo did not score a lot during preseason games!
Ware has some Bam in him. Inconsistent in scoring. Big scoring game but then MIA. Big tease as a fan. Hope we see higher point games consistently from Ware and Bam.
I think Spo and Miami want to push Kelel’s trade value down and publicly call him out so we don’t include him in a Giannis or other star trade
