Big Ben owns the Brewers give the kid the start. 19ks 1 earned run over 3 games. I have faith in him. I also hope that this ages well bc it is Ben Brown. GO CUBS GO!!!

  1. I think Ben Brown is an excellent tool for tonight, but he needs a clean inning to work with, and not the first inning!

  2. I think he will be in the game, although they may not start him. The Brewers barely used Collins in the series who is about the only person hit him well.

  3. Brewers are bad against high velocity. Ben is basically all we have right now that throws gas

  4. Def going to be a momentum game. I’d love to see BB and his high velocity in the first to get us through their top of the order and then let Shota do his thing.

  5. At this point, I’m more in favor of seeing Ben Brown out there rather than Shota, which is just yikes. Lol

  6. I’ll be there live. Brown will be the key tonight I predict. He’ll go 2-3. Honestly I’d rather see him than shota. I know shota will give up 1-2 home runs, it’s only a matter of when.

  7. I think if they were going to use him, they would have done it when they were up 6-0 to save an arm for today

  8. Might as well use him after they made the confounding decision to leave Assad off the roster.

  9. All for it. I went to a game early this season when the Reds couldn’t catch up to him at all.

  10. I don’t think it’s a good idea to put him out there in Milwaukee. He’s even more homer prone than Shota. Possible that could go OK at Wrigley with the wind blowing in but at a more homer friendly park, no. He serves up meatballs on a platter

  11. Every time I see B. Brown playing against the Brewers, my brain instinctively hears Ron Santo screaming “OH NO!!!!!”

  12. The numbers for Ben Brown vs Mil don’t really lie, he’s been fantastic against them at Am Fam. However his issue is his nerves and anxiety, and throwing him in as a starter for a win or go home game would be an insane amount of pressure. Not saying he can’t do it, but I would definitely be nervous seeing him as an opener

  13. 18 innings pitched is not a good sample size.

Ben Brown will end our season.  Dont do it.

  14. He’d be good for two runs through the lineup. Then move on. With the two pitches he has, that’s all he has, but not a terrible idea.
