Odell Beckham WANTS To Join Steelers, Flacco Trade & PFF Thinks Rodgers Is 50th BEST QB In NFL πππ
So, what about Aaron Rodgers? The the love him. We’ve had conversations. So, why don’t you join the Steelers? That’d be great because he’s on the Steelers now. I won’t say that that it’s not a possibility and I won’t say that I haven’t had any communications. Will Odell and Rogers finally team up? Big Deep News. Before we get to Odell Beckham reiterating that he wants to play football and join the Steelers, let’s talk about this Aaron Rogers PFF grade. How is PFF uh legitimately allowed to be a football publication after this one? I have no clue. Like we’ve talked about their TJ Watt grades. We’ve talked about other Steeler grades in the past that have been absolutely ridiculous. I don’t think anything tops this one though. This is absolutely insane. They gave Rogers a 50.4 grade, which ranks him as the 50th quarterback out of 55 eligible candidates. For context purposes, that grade ranks Rogers lower than the following quarterbacks for the 2025 regular season through five weeks. Ready? Gino Smith, Bryce Young, Cam Ward. It gets worse. Jake Browning, Joe Flacco, who just got traded to the Bengals. We’ll talk about that in a little bit. JJ McCarthy, and Russell Wilson, who got benched by the Giants in week three. Rogers, according to PFF, is a worse quarterback than those what seven, eight names that I just listed off in 2025. How like, how is PFF how could they still be in business? How could they show their face? How like how do you explain that? How do you reconcile that? How is PFF taken serious as a football publication after this? I mean, we’ve we’ve said this before with again with TJ Watt in the past, with other Steeler grades in the past, but this is I I how how anyone that has actually watched the games and has some semblance of football knowledge knows that Rogers is playing at a top level this year. Probably, you know, top 10, top 12ish. And the stats back it up. Passer rating of a 102.6 which has him in the top 10. 68.5 completion percentage almost 70%. Pretty damn good. In terms of passing touchdowns, he is eight, which has him ninth amongst eligible passers for that stat. And mind you, this is all with Rogers being a game back compared to all the other quarterback stats because they’re counting mostly for five weeks. Rogers only four because of the early buy. So, not only does he have legitimate quarterback stats in the top 10, he also passes the eye test because you can make an easy argument that he’s been the Steelers MVP for the first quarter of the season. And being a team’s MVP doesn’t equate to being the 50th best quarterback in the league. Just absolutely insane. He’s provided the leadership and, you know, that veteran presence for the Steelers offense that the team’s been lacking over the last like two or three years. been that steadying force, but also has had to step up and be clutch whenever the defense has been faltering and provide some game-winning drives and some clutch moments, some tight window throws. So, like, I don’t know, whatever angle you want to look at it here, Rogers is playing at a top level, and I expect that to only get better as the season goes on because he’s going to build more chemistry with his teammates, with the offense. And this is just the start from my standpoint. I’m gonna trust guys like myself and also a guy like Tom Brady and what he’s seeing from Aaron Rogers before anything PFF has to say. How impressed are you with Aaron Rogers? Yeah, beyond impressed. And and I think at that age there’s so many other factors that come into play about how to be a great quarterback and you know we all want to talk about what happens in the offseason with him and there’s some things that are there’s a lot of narrative retreats. Yeah, there’s a lot of that different. It’s a little different but what we know about him on the field is he’s a surgical passer. He’s got a killer instinct. He’s hyper competitive and I think he’s brought all those things to to Pittsburgh. Now, let’s talk about this Flacco trade because this is kind of relevant for the Steelers because he was traded within division and this makes it three teams in the AFC North for Joe Flacco. The only one that he has not played for, the Pittsburgh Steelers. And let’s keep it that way. He was just traded from the Browns to the Bengals. and the Steelers play the Bengals in week seven. We most likely weren’t going to see him this week, week six with Dylan Gabriel being named the starter outside of injury, but week seven becomes a little bit more interesting and who the Steelers might be facing off against between Jake Browning and Joe Flacco. Uh, I don’t think it matters. Have you seen Joe Flacco’s stats this year? Have you seen Joe Flacco play since his magical run with the Browns like what was it two and a half seasons ago at this point? He’s just not good. He’s just flat out right not that good of a quarterback. It was a a fun run for him for what like five or six games and it all came crashing down in the playoffs against the Texans. He was throwing picks left and right and then ever since then he’s just been bad. He’s not good. Look at his stats this year. Two touchdowns, six interceptions. Jake Browning’s been bad, but I don’t even know who’s worse between the two. I guess the one caveat you could say with Flaco, maybe the reason why the Bengals traded for him is he does still have a big arm. So, if they’re going for the thing where you just send Higgins and Jamar Chase on verts and you have Flaco chucking it up there and you’re trying to get pass interferences, you could do that. You could probably do that at a more effective clip with Flaco than Browning. something that he did a lot when he was with the Ravens, just that he had lesser receivers then, but he did have guys that could take the top off the defense that he was chucking it up to trying to get those PI calls. You could say Jamar Chase and Higgins are better than anyone that Flaco had back in the day. Uh so I don’t know. I don’t even know if it’s going to matter really. Uh they’ll be starting them potentially on a short week after week six because we do play the Bengals on Thursday night. There’s a reason they traded for him. Like let’s not get it twisted. They’re open to benching Browning. Was Flacco the best move for him? Who knows? Uh, I don’t think he’s good. I don’t think Browning’s good. I think both the Browns and the Bengals are in tough spots right now. The Ravens are in a tough spot right now, too, with Cooper Rush being their starter for the foreseeable future with Lamar Jackson being out with a hamstring. That’s why, again, going back to yesterday’s video, the Steelers are in a really good spot to try to take advantage here and stack up the wins and build the gap between the other teams in the AFC North. We’ll see if we can take advantage, but I like our chances in week six and week seven. No doubt about it. Whether it’s Browning or Flacco for the Bengals, obviously we’re facing Dylan Gabriel week six with the Browns. I’ll take us. I I’ll take the Steelers in those matchups. But who’s going to be available in those matchups? Specifically, this one coming up, week six. Looks like all of our starters are going to be back that were missing in that Vikings game. Jaylen Warren, Alex Highmith, and JPJ. And then the two guys that got injured in Dublin, Jaylen Ramsay, and Calvin Austin. Looks like there’s actual hope that they could be back as shortly as this week. Two guys that we’re watching very closely um that certainly are going to be limited at the front part of the week um but may perk up and be included uh toward the latter part of the week is Calvin Austin with his with his shoulder and Jaylen Ramsey with his hamstring. Uh both have been highly aggressive from a rehabilitation standpoint during the bye-week and so really encouraged about the potential of those guys but we’ll take it certainly uh dayto day. So clearly Steelers get more good news coming out of the buy there with Ramsay and Austin. Now we have more random news though because I don’t know if you get more random than Flaco getting traded from the Browns to the Bengals. But Odell Beckham making some headlines. First he’s saying that the NFL is going to suspend him for six games due to peeds. What will we find out or what will you let us know about how long it can be until you can be back on the field? Six games. But like I’ve never cheated the system, you know, and it’s hard for me like to come back and play football. I have to come out and deal with while I was in Miami hearing that you get charged and someone says you failed for peeds, which I’ve been in a program. You know how to you know how the goes. Of course, he’s going to accept the six game suspension because what other option does he have? He’s not on a team. He could just keep going on about his business how he has been and chilling and those six games are going to disappear in six weeks. Don’t really have any other choice. It’s like you’re not on a squad right now. So yeah, of course you you’ll accept the six game suspension. But what’s funny is further in this interview, he’s asked about like what team he would want to play for, like if if there’s an eventual comeback here for Odell Beckham, and he name dropped the Steelers again, just like he did in that Bill Maher podcast clip that I put in the intro. Would you like to play if given the opportunity? Cuz there’s a team, just throw it out there, there’s a team in Pittsburgh. Exactly. I already know that’s one of them. Um I know was it Calvin Austin, right? He kind of just I don’t know something was happen to him, bro. You appreciate the comeback effort, but I think it this is it. It just I mean it is he actually had a decent season with the Ravens a couple years ago and maybe you could chalk up Miami being the issue last year, him being a part of a dysfunctional Dolphins organization, but on top of the suspension, he’s not even going to be available till week 12. I just I don’t see it. And then next year he’s going to be another year older. I think the Steelers would exhaust probably about 10 or 15 different other options at receiver to add another guy in here if we if we’re looking for another piece than sign an Odell at this point. Whether you’re talking about this season or even next off season. This season there’s probably a bunch of trades that you could go through, but then next off season we’ll just go to the draft. You got free agency, you got the draft, you also can do trade. Then I think we would try a lot of different avenues than signing a 34 year old Odell Beckham and trying to rely on him. Especially if Aaron Rogers ain’t going to be back next year. The only saving grace for Odell that you can make, at least a case for us signing him is the connection to Aaron Rogers. That like that would be it. But that connection has been here since early this off seasonason. Now, did the Steelers know something that we didn’t about the whole peed suspension? That’s why we didn’t really pursue that to begin with. Maybe. I I don’t know. It’s just if we wanted it to happen, I think it would have happened by now. Um, way too late in the game. This isn’t like five or six years ago. Odo. Let me know your thoughts, though. I I just think this really isn’t that big of a story. It’s making the headlines because it’s Odell Beckham. He mentions the Steelers. So, we’ll react to it. But no, I don’t see it happening. I think at least for this season, you see what Calvin Austin looks like when he gets back from injury, if he can kind of keep up some of that momentum. But then you would go to Roman Wilson, see what he’s got. You got a trade deadline coming up. I don’t see Odell uh joining the Steelers. I just don’t. But let me know your thoughts down in the comments. Stay chilling. Hope you enjoy. face.

Ya well he is suspended so I am sure he wants to go anywhere
Uh oh, more Odell talk ?? Come on now, we know it wonβt happen.
Sign Odell as cheap as possible for temporary help because I have a feeling that Calvin Austin and Roman Wilson are going to have short careers due to becoming more and more injury prone
Do it. Him DK CA3 Scotty? GAME OVER.
Let's not crap on Flacco. He played for Pittsburgh before….the Pitt Panthers.
We saying Roman Wilson but weβre not seeing Roman Wilson
Russell Wilson, was just trying to save face. I respect that. And I respect him for doing that. He was not going to throw another INT. He prob. felt betrayed by rec's. QB is tough. Russell W. is at the end of his career.
It's automatic if your a Steelers. To get down played. Wich is clearly what their doing to Rodger's. Pff needs to be run out of town.
You know, Steelers seem to be a place to land when you get old.
We can't sign him JPJ picked him off and the mic caught what JPJ said he called OBJ old and something else
He also is tied for 27th for the most yards this season and has had games with less than 3 yards per pass on average and is in 25th in QBR. The defense has been the MVP for this team and if this is top level then Pittsburgh is screwed. He has yet to provide anything Mason couldn't on the field and probably won't. He is not a Steeler and will never be a Steeler. Heading to the playoffs based off the fact that the AFC north stinks this year. If he hoists a Lombardi at the end of the season I'll applaud him but this team goes one and done in the playoffs as usual more than likely.
Both of the next 2 games are our lord and savior, Pastor Tomlin, trap games where he shows up unprepared. Heβll blow one of the 2 for sure.
We don't want a guy who frequented Diddy parties and is on the Epstein list… Hey wait , y'all remember that Justin Bieber video… Nah we cool
I dont like to give us a pass on this game. They almost beat the Vikings and the two times they were beat badly was the Lions who are rolling and the Ratbirds when they were healthier and coming off that tough loss to Buffalo. We dont exactly put anybody away. No to Odell
They hate the Steelers they ainβt about the bullshit
Iβm telling you Diontae Johnson with Aaron Rodgers throwing him the ball with disrupt defenses!!
No OBJr
Bro its cuz like at his games
Let him pass 40 times a game and see that pof go up
OBJ is the most overrated player of all time. He had 1 good year and 1 good catch. There's a reason nobody wants him π
To this day i still cannot figure out how PFF became a thing of consideration. I have asked many people what variables are used on the analysis. They do not advise what the data baseline measurements are. True analysts won't believe anything until you say key information on the rating variables.
This is the same Odell Beckham that was caught feeding his sausage to Justin Bieber at a Diddy party…. don't believe me then Google it… there's videos and no they aren't AI.
Man FUCK PFF!!!!!!
Fuck No .
Keep OBJ the hell out of the Steelers locker room
Yeah Iβm right there to think Edell is just making the news ,his done ,I donβt see a suprise coming off him being taken by Steelers towards the end of the season ,for him and Rodgerβs to see if they click ,in way It would be cool to briefly experience to see if they did throw a ball but I donβt see that coming to seeing for us to witness ,edell has left his mark on the game which wonβt be forgotten with his amazing catching
