Giants fan at heart. Taking advantage of the team who’s closest to me making the post season. I’ll always wear my Rogers gear to the game no matter who’s playing. Is there any unique history or lore between the Giants and Mariners ? Hope to see the Giants back in the playoffs here soon !

I’m almost 50, been a Giants fan since 1985. Been to hundreds and hundreds of games between Candlestick and Oracle. Never even got close to a ball from the field, never a foul ball, home run, player tossed, nothing ever close enough for me to even consider it a possibility. We moved to Seattle in 2012, after we moved here the Giants played a series at Safeco. Me and my family sat behind the Giants dugout. After catching the 3rd out at first base Brandon Belt jogging back to the dugout makes eye contact with me, points, then tosses the ball directly to me, 5 rows up. Caught it, looked over at my wife and just sat stunned. Never remotely even close in all the games I’d been to, then first game I got to see them play in what was my new home, bang – with a personal interaction to boot. I know it’s not really what you were looking for, but it’s my personal Mariners/Giants history. 🙂
