And then there it doesn’t see it. It just simply doesn’t see it. This was a floater. A little D to D. And then Anderson just lets it go. And man, it may have changed elevation there at the very last second. Good things happen when you get the puck on goal. We’re tied at one. That took 50 seconds. Touty will get an assist. Grabbed it. Sent through. Morsy with 14 goals last year. Melo put it through and stickked away by Keer. Skips past Conor. Anderson is able to get it to the line and just out. Adrien Kempe knocked it ahead. The way that LA was able to turn and tilt the rink in their favor. The fierce period on and it’s about tempo and speed. They played a lot faster in this top line. Kempe on his toes pops the little puck and look at that into the hands of Kopitar and quickly to the back door. Look at Kempe. This is a great shot from our crew on his strong side. drops to one knee and guides this one into the back door. Dlo just laid and that was an excellent entry. This may go to five field. Watch out. Smart play by Morgan Barrett. Here comes Mark Shley. He’ll bring it in. Shley all the way to the goal. They score. Mark Shley ties it at two. Bounces and Mark Shley certainly earned this one. That’s a heck of a play from Morgan Baron. Great angle against Biffield. That transition to the puck. It’s not going to be a short-handed goal because Kyle Connor jumps out of the box and actually joins this rush. It’s going to be a penalty, but Shely does a nice job sticking with this. This should be a tug-of-war. Both both teams have had large chunks of this game through 40 minutes of play. And both teams have historically been excellent third period teams. This should be interesting. Popitar Via good pass to Kusme sends it out front. Hellobach aggressively made the save and that one too. Everything about it other than scoring, they haven’t been able to find the back of the net. And look at the work from Halabuk. Confident, challenging, out making combination save after combination save. There’s one, there’s two, and then there’s first round pick of the Chicago Blackhawks. So would have played a little bit with Shon Taves back then. Shot by Morrisy, a rising one. He had a lot on that and I thought he did that late in the game against Dallas when the Jets were making a push and certainly started this game on fire is so good at skating and takes it off the boards in this two- two game. It’ll come up top. Keep slap pass. ripped that one off the side of the net. Keep got it. Here’s the blocked by Stanley. Was Fel set it up for Kopitar. The possession for the Kings. A shot stopped by Hill. 10 seconds left. And here he comes. Pepe toward the line. It’s knocked away and the Jets are going to hang on. They win their first game of the season. They beat the Kings 3 to2.
