NHL Highlights | Flyers vs. Hurricanes | October 11, 2025

And oh, what a night as you like to say, Trip
Tracy for Keandre Miller in his Hurricanes regular season debut. Two goals, one on the
power play. And it paced Carolina. And here we go. Canes and Flyers. Flyers will get to this
puck. That’ll work its way to the corner. Well, this line has been all over the ice here in the
first three plus minutes of this game. Now Carrie out in front. Martin with a chance. Stall with a
follow up. Barrison with a save. Puck still loose. That’s a nifty play by Stankov to try to get that
going. And now a chance for Sanheim. Philly air. Boston busting out. Chance for Bobby Brink. Brink
tries to drop it back in. Anderson makes the save. Forester with the option from Shawn Walker. So
he closed and and Hall just unfortunately lost the race up the ice. The Flyers only have
two shots right now. And there is six and a half remaining in the first. Now a giveway out in
front. Mr. Anderson. differencemaking defenseman that you know he had with one of the best with
Quinn Hughes in Vancouver. Here’s a power play right now for the Flyers as that shot is ring high
and it bounces out in front and Tippet deposits the loose change. It took a Flyer bounce off the
glass and Owen Tippet wasted no time. Flyers win the draw and the eventual goal scorer guarantees
the win. tipp it with his skate skate to stick back to the point. Just a tough bounce. It It goes
off a stansion and that’s why the connecting shot goes right to the front of the net. I think
I mentioned earlier in the period Tippet who they’re trying to get going because they know as
winding to the late portion here of the period. Carolina with the puck. There’s a stretch pass
for Robinson with a shot right on makes the save. Philadelphia getting in front of another shot. Now
Gostas Bear pinches up. Philadelphia going to try to get a break here for Connectney. He’ll going
to stick to it. Back in Anderson makes the save. Puck still loose. Stanovven comes back to help
clear it away. Philadelphia will keep possession. Long shot, misses everything. Trying to get a shot
through. Lost the handle and it went through the crease. Now Stanovven has got a step. He’ll wait.
He’ll drop it back. Blake waits. Draws. Shoots. Here’s a rebound. They score. Logan Stankov on
the doorstep pounds it home and we’re tied at one. Ander Nishian started this whole thing. No dust
off. He wired it up the wall with pace to Stan Kov. Stan Kov had numbers and he knew it. Gets it
to the middle. He had a net drive from Spetchnov that helps to create the lane for Blake. Blake
hesitated but still got it through. And Stan Coven follows up to score. Good low shot giving
yourself a chance and a rebound and Stan Kovven is on the board. But I think the key cog and all
of that consider the fact that Gosses Bear has to play as offside. Sometimes that’s unusual for some
players. But you know Trip in NHL history some guys like it. Here’s a chance for Philadelphia.
Snap shot will score. Bobby Brink high to the glove hand. He beats Anderson and the Flyers
retake the lead. It’s 2-1 Philadelphia. Game one. Chance to get the puck out. Kane and Hall
aren’t able to do so. You have four of your five players that are really caught outside the dot
assuming the puck’s going to get out. The Flyers are able to come up with it. And Brink, this is
a heck of a release. Avoids the stick of Nikian using him as a screen in the process and beats
Anderson. looking for some space. He’ll bounce it out. No roll in on Anderson. Will have to play
it off the boards. He kept in. Throw away. And here comes Robinson showing his feet. Robinson
centering it. They score. Taylor Hall. Oh, mercy. What a goal. Set up by Robinson. And
Hall with the finish. We’re tied at two. The covert signing was to extension of Eric
Robinson. What a beautiful feed. Hall wins the race to the net. And that allows that one toucher
on the back hand before could get over to tie this hockey. And did you see Robinson take a peek?
God’s bear will tip this one back in. Just keep going. Ring around the rink with the puck. Now
up here comes Bobby Brink. Brink with the shot. Anderson made the save and then falls back and as
you say partner, if you don’t know where it is, don’t move on the power play. Philadelphia now
get it back. Sanheim through traffic. Anderson makes a save. Rebound out in front. Another save.
Anderson locates it. It’s popped away. And he’s sped down the wing. Jarvis will keep it in. Aa
with a long drive. Deflected out in front and Eers puts one right on. Nikolai Eers looking for
his first and now puck top with a high stick and kept in by Philadelphia. There’s break in the slot
trying to get the shot through. Nikes with a great block in front. Now Kates with a drive that goes
off the glove of Anderson. This puck back into the K into the Flyer zone. Kane’s giving pressure for
it. Stall behind the net for Martin. Martin out in front. Stall. He scores. The captain delivers
on a setup from Jordan Martin. A goal 299 for his career. First of the season. And puts the Canes in
the lead 3-2. veteran line that was so good early in this hockey game gives the Hurricanes their
first lead. Stall the eventual goal scorer is able to turn the puck carry in Martin’s favor on the
wall. Gets it below the throw line is just given the front of the net a chance whether Carrie gets
to stall who started it follows it up and scores. Billy able to knock it away. Walker knocks it
away from Forester. Now musling this one to the front is Brink. Somehow loose puck behind
the net. Ao paws for it. Brink. He’ll settle it down for finds Brink. Gates out in front.
High slot. They score. Travis Sanheim got loose and he risks one pass Anderson. We’re tied at
three with four minutes left here in the third. is playing a ton and he might challenge
30 minutes and I think Bobby Brink has had a heck of a night. He helped to come up
with puck possession. Then it was a game of give and go. Same spot where Jordan Stall got
it started on the goal that gave Carolina the lead. Forester goes back below the goal line
to Brink. Carolina has a breakdown. Winger leaves Sanheim. Looked to be that it was
Jarvis’s guy and that creates the opening. Excellent stick work by Keandre Miller.
Brick is very good at moving one way, shooting the other. He just missed. Now
Ziggress with it. He lays it off Sanheim. Gets it through. Brick. Empty net. Yeah,
within the crease. I definitely think that there’s contact. It is in the hands of
the situation room in Toronto right now. And we have the decision. Kelly Sutherland with
After video review from the situation room, it’s determined there was goalender
interference by number six Philadelphia. We have no goal. AO muscles around Brink.
AO back for Gostaspar. Gstas bear to Aaho. They kept it in. 25 seconds left. Jarvis. Ao
with it. Ao leaves it for Gostas Bear. Back to Aaho. Shooting spot for Jarvis. Game
over. Seth Jarvis wins it in overtime. Is on the line. Magicians look like they
wanted no part of an upcoming shootout. Justice Bear had a terrific ring. He had
an interchange with Aaho that was pivotal. And Sebastian Aaho put it right into the
wheelhouse so Jarvis could blow it by Harrison. No chance for Harrison. I mean, a
perfectly placed one-time high to the block.

  1. Just so u guys know the player clearly makes contact with the goalie inside the crease preventing from making a play on the puck that is the definition of goalie interference that the play was called

  2. I’ve been to many canes games before, but going to this one was the right choice. One of the most insane endings I’ve witnessed, let’s go canes!

  3. If you couldn’t see Anderson purposely come forward to make intentional contact and literally push him then you cannot follow the game. Or you have some kind of deficiency in hockey IQ

  4. Played hockey for many years now. The oldest trick in the book by goalies when thy know they are beat. Sometimes they get the call sometimes they don’t. Freddie got away with it tonight but as the season goes on and he misses half of it with BS injuries then can’t get the team all the way it won’t matter

  5. the fact philly went toe to toe with carolina, and almost beat them, I've a feeling under tocchet they would be competitive down the road this year.
