Asked Ausar Thompson how he plans to help the halfcourt offense! #pistons #detroitpistons #nba
Last year we spoke about your shot creation going all the way back to OT, how much you had the ball in your hands. You had the ball in your hands a little bit this past year, especially in transition in the open floor, but how do you plan on helping the half court offense in regards to whether it’s offball or whether it’s having the ball in your hands a little bit more to maybe create for yourself and others? Have you looked at specific spots where you can try to help improve this team’s half court offense? Yeah, definitely. I would say, like I said earlier, being more aggressive one and two, like you know, getting to getting to my spots, you know, getting to the midi, pulling up, taking corner threes. Um, just being more aggressive, coming off screens, forcing the big to make a decision between me or, you know, JD or whoever else is in there and just making the right read from there. So, yeah, I think it all starts with just being more aggressive. That’s how you help
