Watching him play tonight, I legitimately think he’s already the best player on the team

He has looked like an All Star on the offensive end tonight…but what really is impressing me the most is he has been absolutely insane on the defensive side. You don’t see this level of impact from a rookie. His overall year one impact on winning is going to be even higher than I anticipated.
Again, its really uncanny how well he moves for a guy thats 6’9”…Really special versatility and IQ/Instincts

I hope he does well because it’s better for basketball as a fan when there are more good players. But I will be pissed if Dallas does well because they got lucky in the draft after the dumbest trade in history.

All props to him but damn thinking about it being as highly touted as he is. He landed in the best position. Has one of the best bigs, shooters and ball handlers of all time to just feed him knowledgeable
His situation is so good compared to a lot of 1st round picks, he has 3 all star vet players who have all been on championship teams.
IF Mavs can stay healthy which is a big if, they have a really good team on paper this year, even without Flagg and the 3 all stars they have some really solid role players.
Looks like he’ll be able to effectively play a wing/3 which is huge for his fit with AD. Super poised for being so young.
I would love for the mavericks to suck but what can I say kids got it (mandatory I know it’s preseason I’m trying to relax)
