NHL Highlights | Stars vs. Avalanche | October 11, 2025
And here we go. ABS win the opening draw. Burn
slides it to lock in and it’s into the down zone to begin things. Hey guys, do definitely something
to keep an eye on cuz that’s not their normal left winger. Normally Robertson Landis moving swiftly
finishing his check in the corner. Nelson’s just off the bench and a blocker saved by slammed in
by Labouchkin all the way around the car playing that stick over. Here comes Nachin. He’s got to
step in deep. Shoots and hits the post. He rang it right off the iron on the far side. Kakar
with a beautiful chip and bound to Shushkin. Get Sammy G out of the lineup. That long shot
locked away. Never got to the front. Burns retreated a little bit. Here comes Lungfist.
The defenseman activated centering pass right in. Couldn’t put it on yet. Harley with a shot
scores. So Harley in a broken play able to rip it home past the glove hand of Edgewood to give
Dallas the one- nothing lead. 109 into the game. Harley probably going to play for Canada this year
at the Olympics, but there’s chaos ensuing. Nico Randon almost throws a kind of a soft flo. I
don’t know if he knew where it was going to, but Thomas Hardy steps into it. Wedgewood is kind
of out of the ABS are so close. Lack it into Tes. He’ll find Binsky. Cross eyes. Niches shoots up.
He scores. Marty Niches rips it paster. You can see the abs working it around the perimeter
confusing the Dallas Stars. Nathan McKinnon with a beautiful seam pass. Jake when he has to
go post to post. It doesn’t matter if you’re 6’6, you’re on getting there. Marty Nes with his third
of the season. What a pass through the triangle. Lungquist. It all started the other end, too. Sam
Molinsky running up the wall and blows up. Miko fired off for Olivesson. Working on Harley trying
to get through in front. Score. De Bridgley. A horrific pass on to give the ABS a 2 to one
lead. Goal. Well, it’s his fourth game in the NHL, folks. Third in an Avalanche uniform. This play
by Vick Wilson is ridiculous. He explodes off the blue line. Beats it past Harley. Grabs it
again. And there’s the former Michigan Wolverine tucking his first National Hockey League goal
through the five hole of Andre Johnny. What an incredible feeling for that young man. What an
incredible feeling, Rex. I loved everything you said except when you got to the Michigan Wolverine
Park, but first career goal. Reading in his basket couldn’t get there. Robertson with a backhand
flip and that was nifty. Wonder if Wesman got a piece of it. Robertson still with it.
Hast get it to the near side. Lendell is in in front. Still fashion hard to the front
of the net. Down on one knee pushes it past Wedgewood and the Stars have tied the game at
two. This is just tough. You can see Robertson. That’s a nifty little move to the backand going
short side then just moving it around. Bastion wide open in front. And that’s one of the easier
goals that you’re going to have. Standing almost in the crease. Lindell puts it right on his tape.
Burns tries to make the effort to knock him over, but Bastion gets enough on that stick to get
it through. Wedgewood numbers hanging in the Raptors here and Brent Burns just keeps getting
on that. A simple game so underrated in hockey score. That puck was deflected by Jason Robertson.
Harley just simply threw it to the front of the net and Robertson able to turn that blade over
and get a piece. And the Dallas Stars and what did the Dallas Stars do? Right over to Thomas
Harley and just a quick wrister onto the net. Jason Robertson gets the perfect deflection.
Watch it go up there under the bar top shelf where you could shoot 30 pucks from the blue
line. And I don’t know how many times Robertson’s going to get that perfect of wood on it. Fox came
rumbling in. Shot by McKinnon trying to break out. Nas slides it. McKinnon to his blade. Walks in in
front. Score. Oh, 34 seconds into the third period has made it a three3 hockey game on his second
goal of the season. Nathan McKinnon collects that puck. Beauty. You can see Nathan McKinnon. What a
pass by N. What a pass by Nathan McKinnon. Dallas off to start their fourth line. They’re running
around with their heads cut off trying to finish checks and the app make them pay early in the
third just what the doctor ordered. Arturi Lack, you know where you’re going to find him. Always
out battles. Bassing in front. He’s good play by Drury. Ops it off. Here’s Colton now. Pass
shot. That one off the skate. All of a sudden unleashing that shot. Oh no. Fast ahead by Justin
foot trying to break away. He shoots and scores. The AS incredibly unlucky there. The gap was
closed on Taves at the blue line and Johnston able to follow it all the way down. Here’s
the play right there. See that puck’s rolling and it jumps right on White Johnson’s tape. This
guy’s one of the most talented young players and Wedgewood so close to getting that pad over to the
side, but the young White Johnson just comes in, goes back for and just stuffs it and barely beats
Wedgewood there. Well, an extended shift in the offensive zone too. Looks to dish off seam pass.
Back it comes BS with a shot. Safe rebound. He can’t shoot. Nothing. Can it got some of it but
could not get over it. And finally the power play pays off. The abs. His second goal of the season.
Well, the puck movement here is brilliant. Nes over to Nelson. Back to Burns who takes a shot. He
talks about puck retrieval. They retrieve another one and Nous right in the slot. Arer thinks he’s
going to shoot. He does it. He puts it right on a tea for Nathan McKinnon from his former
teammate. Broken stick down on the ice off to Natas. Gives it down low. McKinnon to what a save
by short side. He dives. Unbelievable read by Jay Gottinger. He’s so big. I mean, Nathan McKinnon
puts it slightly up into the circle. Looking, turning, holds. Here’s Mar shoots. Oh my
gosh, what a glove save byer. That was simply incredible. I didn’t know Marty Nes could
be stopped tonight. Gets that on a diamond. Goes up and under the bar in that massive mitt of Auter
just snakes across and gobbles it up. Holy moly. Full splits, Johnny. That was spectacular. It
was spectacular. And that was the perfect play from Kale Mar. You know, Matt Machine doesn’t
have a stick. He has no way of deflecting edge between the pipes for the abs as Robertson gets
the go-ahhead. And here we go. He’ll swing it wide through the circle. Robertson in. Looks slot,
shoots, and scores. I couldn’t even see a hole on the ice. Looked looked perfect here. Wow.
Almost like it went through his glove. Obvious works his way in now. Picks up Steve
to the forehand. Shoots a save by That save was so much better than it looked cuz
Matt Duchain came in, forced Wedgewood to push off his right leg and as he does, watch him keep
the pad down. Oh boy, that was a sneaky play by Duchain. And Wedgewood was up for the challenge.
Here comes Valeri Nushka. Big foul. Had his legs going tonight. Now he works it from his own zone.
Picks it up at center ice. Nachus head up. Looks down the slot. And with the backhander save he
got the pucker. I couldn’t even see the puck go in. Let’s look at foul coming in using all of that
length. Just beats aer to the post with no problem at all. Picks it up. Let’s see what he wants to do
through the top of the circle down the slot again. It’s the gandling backhander save by the Dallas
Stars get the extra point. They win the shootout.

Colorado announcers downplay each Dallas goal like they're scrubs. Classy…. How did that Mikko Rantanan shootout goal taste?
why skip past the game winning shootout goal?
completely cut out Rants' SO game winner.
Where is the game winning goal?
A win is a win. Jake "The Snake" Otter was great!
Yes, the Debbie downer when anyone but Colorado scores…
Stars and Avalanche beefing each other
NHL, come on, it's 2025 almost 2026 and you still only give us 720p? Youtube doesn't even consider that as being HD anymore. That's embarrassing.
Rantanen's perfect shootout goal skipped for some reason.
Da MOOSE again decides who L00SE! Da means Dallas
Oh my! You purposely left the Ratenen SO Goal out of the highlights 👀
These homer announcers are the worst. You crybabies did not even show mikkos shootout goal. LOL, what a bunch of losers.
Too many ads
Go Stars!!!
Wyatt is unbelievably good!!
Otter came through big without him the Stars wouldve lost in OT he made some great saves
Way to go not showing Rantanens game winning goal 👏
I love colorado ❤
I have said it for YEARS, whoever is running these NHL highlights needs to be fired. Honestly embarrassing…
My Stars and the 3rd period is my new combo for to induce a panic attack 😂
BTW, the play calling, the double minor, and the omitted game winner only proves the NHL out to get the Stars. Stop biting the NFL script making
AI is heavy on the A, and very light on the I…
For a squad who won the game, these Stars fans are might salty after this one 😅.
Couldn’t watch the game, but seems like Otty stole this one with a great performance.
Another terrible highlight video from the NHL though..
Agreed with everyone’s take here, how in the world do you leave out the GW goal?!
Would love to see these two go 7 in the WCF
you really gunna be petty and leave Rantanen’s SO goal out? is the stick that far up?
So game winning goal is where?
I'm only 3 minutes into the video but already I see a GLARING problem for the Stars this season. BOTH Avalanche goals so far are 100% preventable if Lundqvist only knew how to play defense. BOTH Colorado passes go within an inch of his skates on their way to the eventual goal score. Very nice to get the win but, THIS SUCKS!
