Ryan Reaves Drops ๐ŸฅŠ Gloves ๐ŸฅŠ With Ross Johnston

Zeliger in full flight. Drops it off for Colourne. Wanted to play it back to the point. Now does as Goce slides it across. Zeliger all the way around the zone. And a one-timer for McTavish. Loose rebound. They score. Senica. Senica second in as many games after the initial bid I believe by McTavish. Went off the goal post. Yeah, you know, it’s a one-timer that the Ducks were looking for at the start of that power play, but the passers weren’t quite in the wheelhouse. That time it was for McTavish. He hammers it. Ascarov’s going to get a little piece. Look at Senica front of the net. Rebound comes to him. Skate to stick and he jams it home. Kids got a big body and he’s got a great set of hands and what a start to his NHL career. Two goals in two games. One of them’s a power play goal. And Anaheim has erased a twogoal first period deficit. Last season, Anaheim eight times erased two goal deficits. And now Reeves and Ross Johnston off the faceoff will square off. We call this a heavyweight tilt. My goodness. They measure one another and Reeves comes in leading with right hands. Ross answers trying to get the right hand free. Offbalance. Johnston throws a right. Now Reeves answers with a couple of his own. Both these guys know what they’re doing. Hanging on and trying to get a hand loose. Ross delivers a right hand. Another as they go to the glass. A couple over the top from Reeves. [Applause] linesman reluctant to get in there and you can’t blame him for that not throwing a lot of jabs. John with 444 to go in the first. They’ll both get an early trip to their respective locker rooms. And well earned at that Becket Senica his second in as many games and the Ducks have tied it in San Jose. [Music]

  1. I hope they give reaves more rounds this season i thought he was washed up for a sec but now he might actually have a shot to be heavyweight champ again

  2. A fight because of a goal? I miss the good ol' days when staged fighting didn't exist. It's bogus and takes away form the joy of a real fight based on defending your teammate after something like a dirty hit.
