BREAKING: Bengals TRADE for Joe Flacco!

Look, the Cincinnati Bengals had to do something at quarterback. They couldn’t simply keep running Jake Browning out there. And so, they trade a fifth round pick to the Cleveland Browns for Joe Flacco and get a sixth round pick in return. So, it’s a pick swap trade for the Bengals. A relatively small price to pay for the desperate hope that Joe Flacco can provide confident quarterback play that Jake Browning could not. Jake Browning was too often late, too often inaccurate, and too often frantic under pressure and pushing to make plays that weren’t available to him. But Joe Flacco has put the ball in harm’s way plenty of times this season, too. The upside is is that he has an arm, an arm that Jake Browning doesn’t have, and has a ton of experience in the NFL. Has shown that he can learn offenses quickly, and that’s what the Bengals are banking on. He also has familiarity with the Bengals next opponent in the Green Bay Packers having already played them this year.

The Bengals have traded for veteran QB Joe Flacco! Cincy is sending the Browns a 5th-round pick and will receive a 6th-round pick back in return.

  7. Just watched some highlights of the Browns with Flacco. Yes he had many interceptions too but they were not that horrible as Jakes. And what is another plus, is that he was used to get pressured a lot and he doesn't panick like Browning

  8. They had to do something 2 weeks ago. Russell Wilson was the answer. Their inaction created the desperation that has resulted in this crap trade move.

  9. Former 2x rival aged 40y Joe Flacco now has the weight of keeping this season salvageable behind the worst O-line seen in years. What do we say? The only thing I like about this is that he's played Green Bay. Browns Defense beat Green Bay though…..

  16. Of course they had to do something at quarterback lol. Zac already blamed Frank and Lou and now Browning, which is sweeping Zac’s ineptitude under the rug. So, we now will win 5 games instead of 3?
