When making this meme, I’m not saying Brissett is the answer, or that he’s better than Murray.
However, Brissett showed that we don’t need a QB to run for their lives, if they can stand tall in the pocket.
Brissett showed that we can still move the ball without highlight reel scrambles, as long as you consistently go through your progressions.
Brissett showed us a style of QB play that I haven’t seen since Palmer. It was the style of football I enjoy watching, win or lose.

If the offense goes back to being super conservative once Murray comes back, I agree that he’s gone after this season.
Because if that does happen, he’s either incapable of running a pro level offense or he slept with Petzing’s wife.
I don’t think it’s Kyler Vs Brissett. But I do think Brissett opened people’s eyes today.
Sure, he’s not better than Kyler. But he played phenomenally under the circumstances and the team mirrored that. If anything, Brissett may have just proven that Kyler might not the right fit for the team. Time will tell.
We can all at least agree this Oline is cheeks. And they consistently play their worst snaps in the most important moments.

People in the gameday thread not understanding we werent seeing a “Wally Pip” type of situation, we were just seeing that PERHAPS the biggest issue with the offense was the player under center. Now maybe this was the play calling coming out of its shell and Kyler turns it on next game, but if the offense looks like it did before today, then we gotta point the finger at Kyler.
This game sealed it for me. Kyler can’t play in rhythm or timing. 90% of the plays looks like a backyard football game. The offense looked so much smoother today. I bet they move on from him if they can trade him.
Kyler needs to be in a Dak Prescott situation. Elite OL, WR who get wide open a reliable RB as a safety valve and a defense that can erase his turnovers. Pretty much what Kyler had a OU. Murray regressed under KK and has not lived up to his contract under Petzig. ARZ needs a change to a QB who can read defenses and go through route progressions.
The fact that Brissett looked good today in this offense, Murray has not come close to 300 yards this season in any game.
I don’t think ARZ wants to give Murray another contract, I think he is gone as soon as it’s cap friendly.

I guess that’s what a Petzing offense looks like when a QB can stay in the pocket and keeps his eyes downfield. If someone doesn’t watch that game and realize that Kyler is part of the problem with our passing offense, you don’t know football. Kyler bails out of plays way too early and doesn’t keep his eyes downfield. We haven’t even played great defensive teams in 3 of our 5 games with Kyler yet he struggled to keep his eyes downfield with a pass rush coming at him.
