Washington Commanders Get GREAT News Heading Into Bears MNF Matchup. Deebo Goot To Go. Terry Next
Yo, what is up guys? This is Pedro here. So, the Washington Commanders just got some really good injury news heading into this Monday night football game against the Bears about Terry McLaren, Debo Samuel, and also even Sam Cosby. If you guys are new, make sure to subscribe, hit that like button, notification bell as well. There’s a hype option as well. All those things help the algorithm a ton. And like I said, subscribe for great commanders content. So, I know there’s a bunch of games going on and you know you guys are probably busy on your Sunday, but just a quick update for you guys and you know the Sunday 4:25 4 p.m. slate this week isn’t even that good besides the Niners Bucks uh game. But let’s talk about this. So, this was via Tom Pelisero earlier in the day and he said that, you know, Terry McLaren hasn’t had any setbacks with his injury, you know, while doing rehab and he has a chance to return versus the Cowboys and seems like it would be, you know, a decent chance to return. And then Debo Samuel sounds like he’s going to be good to go versus the Bears. And that was the big concern because obviously Terra being out sucks and then Noah Brown being out sucks. But at least you did have Debo. So if he was going to be out then you’re totally screwed. Your wide receiver one is Luke McCaffrey and you got Jaylen Lane and Chris Moore. You would probably have to call up Jakory Brooks. Like it’s just not a good you know receiving core. So you know for me I you know that was really the biggest thing going into this game. I feel good about this game knowing that Debo Samuel is going to you know very likely play. It’s not 100% confirmed. We’ll probably find out later tonight, earlyish tomorrow. But it looks like Debo Samuels heading in the right direction to play in this game. Been dealing with a little bit of a heel injury. So that’s kind of why he, you know, his status was in question for this game. But, uh, you know, having him out there is going to be huge. I mean, we’ll I’ll I’ll go ahead and, you know, pop up some of his stats, but, you know, he’s been very good for the Commanders this year. And, I mean, he’s been their best offensive player, you know, skill position-wise. Uh, you know, you know, him and Bill Crosky, but, you know, he’s been doing a little bit more overall than Bill has just because he’s been getting more touches. Uh, but, uh, let me just pause this ad real quick and you guys can see so far, five games, 300 yards. Uh yards per catch isn’t a lot, but it’s, you know, 10 yards a catch, three touchdowns, and, you know, hasn’t had a lot of long plays, which is interesting. 24 has been as long, but uh, you know, he’s just been getting a lot of short, uh, you know, catches and stuff, which is fine by me. So, you look at his, you know, stats, you know, without Terry. So, you know, the game that Terry went out is this one. So, he’s only played two games without Terry, but in those two games, he scored two touchdowns and about 160 I think 168 yards in two games, which obviously very, very good numbers there. And, you know, he Yeah, six catches and eight catches and then 72 and 96 yards. So, very good day by him. And rushing the ball, he hasn’t been insane this year. Seven carries for 46 yards, also as a touchdown. and that was in the Giants game. So overall has four touchdowns on the year and 350 yards. So, he’s been a really really good signing or not signing trade uh you know by the commanders. It’s been a good trade and you know even if he does leave in free agency which at this point I think it’s you know mutually beneficial you know he’s been doing well for the commanders and you know the commanders have been a good fit for him. So it would be mutually beneficial for both sides to make a deal. Even if they don’t or come to a come to agreement on a deal, even if they don’t though, Debo, if he goes and signs somewhere, let’s say it’s like a threeyear, I don’t even know what he would get, but let’s say it’s around, you know, if Deami Brown got and Darius Sllayton got like 10 mill a year, you know, Debo’s getting more than that. Let’s say it’s like a 2year, $30 million deal, something like that. The commanders would get like a fifth or sixth round comp pick for him. So they basically got him for free plus a year of service, you know, helping him win games. But in an ideal scenario, he’s on the team next year and, you know, they get him under contract. So, uh, he’s been really good and that’s really good news that he is going to be good to go for this game more likely than not. It’s not 100% guaranteed, but Tom Pelisero is a very reliable NFL reporter. Reports for the N, you know, NFL Network, you know, got 800,000 followers. you know, he’s one of the top guys out there and he doesn’t really, you know, him especially, you know, sometimes Ian Rapour and Adam Shfter, they speculate a little bit. Tom Pelisero doesn’t really speculate too much. So, this probably means, you know, Debo has a very good, you know, chance to play. Let’s get into some of the other I’ll talk about Terry a little bit and then we’ll get into some of the other injuries. So, Terry, you know, sucks. He’s been out, you know, 3 weeks. It is what it is. You know, it is unfortunate, but uh you know, you want him to be fully healthy. So, let’s see what he can do this next week in practice and see if he can practice, you know, limited in some of these days. And I think because this is a Monday night game, they don’t want to play them be, you know, especially the guys that are, you know, 50/50 or, you know, they don’t want to push him to play because if you play on Monday, not only is it a Monday, it’s 8:00 p.m. So, you get less turnaround time then, too. And you know, it’s a shorter turnaround time for the next game that you play. So, you know, guy like Sam Cosby, Noah Brown, Terry McLaren, they’re not going to rush them back for this. But Noah Brown already, let’s look here. He’s missed. So, he was out after the Packers game. 1 2 3. This will be his fourth game miss. So, that was a miss by them not putting him on IR because they could have used a slot for, you know, Chris Moore earlier, I guess. Even though, you know, Chris Moore, we don’t want to see him out there, but you know, a guy like Jaory Brooks could have been on the roster, too. You know, he’s just taking up a roster spot not doing nothing, but I think next week he’ll be good to go. And then Terry McLaren, like a little bit less, you know, likely than Noah Brown, but still, you know, like Tom Pelisero says, has a chance. But if he misses that game, then you again, you’re wasting another roster spot cuz you could have had him out for um yeah, you you you could have put him on IR and had another roster spot cuz he missed the Falcons, missed the Chargers, he’s going to miss the Bears. And if he misses the Cowboys, that’s four games. And then Sam Cosby, obviously very understandable why he’s not playing this game. But let we’ll get into the injury report after a word from today’s spawn. And a huge thanks to Sleeper for sponsoring today’s video. The Commanders play tomorrow night against the Chicago Bears. A huge game. It’s almost It’s basically a rivalry at this point. Jaden Daniels versus Caleb Williams. Number one and number two overall picks from 2024. But that’s all behind us and we just got to win this game. The Commanders have to win this game. But I do have a pick for this game and you know been on a tear recently on sleeper with these picks. So you guys can tell as well. So DeAndre Swift over 18 and a half receiving yards. The running backs on opposing teams have been doing decent jobs at getting receiving yards. Uh Bill Crosky Mir touchdown and then also Bill Crosky over 65.6 yards rushing yards. Make sure you guys check out Sleeper link in the description. Use promo code Pedro and get a 100% match up to $100. All right, again huge shout out to Sleeper. Now, let’s talk about the rest of the injury report for the Commanders and then also for the Bears, which is also important. So, Noah Brown, we talked about him and Terry are going to be out for this game. Sam Cosm is doubtful, but he practiced full last week. Maybe didn’t practice one day, but just cuz they didn’t want to fully fully get him back in everything, but this week full three days, but he’s doubtful. Makes sense. But still good news there. You know, the fact that he’s doubtful that means, you know, he even has a chance to play. He’s not going to play, but the fact that he has a chance means next week I feel like very very very good chance he plays. Debo is questionable and Chris Rodriguez, both of those guys are questionable. Uh Chris Rodriguez, you know, hopefully he plays, but it’s not a big loss if he doesn’t play. Dealing with the calf injury. We talked about Debo and then John Bates and Jaden Daniels obviously good to go. Uh Chicago Bears, Grady Jarrett, their defensive tackle, he’s out for this game. And then a bunch of guys that are questionable. Austin Booker, uh, Booker. Uh, Travis Homer, that’s a that’s a throwback of a name. Uh, Coulson Loveland, their first round tight end, he is questionable. Their kicker also questionable for this game. I’m sure he’s going to play. And then the rest of the guys are also questionable. You know, I talked about in a video about Donald Wright maybe being out. That would be huge for the Commanders, but he’s good to go. So, you know, their guy Kyler Gordon, he’s good to go in this game. So, you know, he’s a good quarterback for them. So, uh, that’s I I believe he was out for a little bit. Not completely sure, but that’s a big, uh, get for them. And then Loveland, you know, if he’s out, that could be a little bit of a loss, but he hasn’t been balling balling out yet. So, you know, maybe trip against the Commanders can help him out with that, but they also have Cole Kit, so they’re fine receiving and tight end wise. They have a bunch of options, and that’s going to be a big key to victory for the Commanders is limiting some of those options, especially Roma Dunce, you know, who’s been really, really good this year. And the Bears have had a byee, so they are super fresh. And I’m sure Ben Johnson’s got, you know, the first couple drives planned out, but hopefully, you know, the Commanders can, uh, you know, allow that to not happen and not allow a first touchdown drive and maybe force a turnover or two in this game. We know what happened last time when Ben Johnson, you know, went up against the Commanders. Let’s hope he gets a little too cute this time, too. And, uh,, you know, does some trick plays, you know. Let’s see. He had Jameson Williams throwing a pass. Maybe he has Luther Birden. I feel like it’s a good comp. Luther Burden throwing a pass to uh someone. And then Mikey Sainer still get an interception. That would be great. But that is it for today’s video. Hope you guys did enjoy and hopefully you guys enjoy the rest of your guys Sunday and some good football later tonight hopefully with the Lions and the Chiefs. Peace.

I thought the team Signed Robby Anderson the former speedster from The Panthers
Luke has been shining this year. He’s a solid 3-4 WR. But I prefer Terry Deebo and Luke if possible
