The right way to play is getting out-shot 35-23, out-chanced 32-15, and out-high danger chanced 10-7?
Huh, strange that none of the Cup winners of the last decade plus have tried it.
Nobody says the way they played last night was acceptable. Just we don’t need to burn the house down and trade everyone after two games

One concerning thing I have noticed is their unwillingness to engage physically. Watching the teams playing against us their forwards hit our d on the forecheck and their d step up and hit out forwards entering the zone. Meanwhile our players all swing their sticks like pool noodles and do not play a physical game.

There’s a huge difference between “it’s been two games, the team shouldn’t worry about trying” and “it’s been two games, the fans shouldn’t be calling the team a bunch of shitty failures”

Yes it’s been two games so I don’t think we need to overreact about anything, that being said, it’s literally the coaches job to get the team focused on playing the right way. Being hard on them as a coach right now is a good thing to get them on track.
I just won’t let myself as a fan completely lose it through two games.

These 2 games remind me of the same team that never shows up when playing teams we are supposed to beat or the playoffs losses that we all wonder who da f are those guys? It dont fkklkn matter that it’s only been 2 games? What fkkkkn matter ? Is that after losing again in the playoffs? This is how we come out …. we sure look fkkkkn upset that we disappointed the fans one more season …. get a fkkkkn grip on reality leafs , and dont make empty promises like we’ve heard eversince dumbass will get bigger, stronger, and more physical ,every fkkkkn losing season, and now Domi ? Saying, we will make it harder for teams to play in our barn …. witch part of the hard part showed up in the 1st 2 games … wake da f up ? I’ve heard this physical bullshhhttt lie way 2 often , we get Simmons Clifford Reaves, and we fkkkkn sit them ,and they fkkkn do their job fkkkn elsewhere. Y ????? Because they play a fkkkn role, the Leafs’ base have not played in 10 fkkkn years ,they just tell us they’ll play that way to keep us fkllln quiet . It’s fkkkkn obvious Reaves gets a goal and a fight ,and even if they lost 7 fkkkkn 6 ,San Jose fans got to witness a fkkkkm hockey game ,instead of us the leafs watching heavy weights get injured without pay backs and just fkkkkn skating FFS !!!!!! Thank God for the Jays ,and u better play the game we haven’t played in 10 fkkkn years tomorrow
I think there’s a difference between “it’s been two games” and you’re a fan versus the person whose job it is to get the players in line and playing…
He should 100% on these guys cause they haven’t looked where they should. But us as a fanbase we shouldn’t be panicking cause they will get it together soon and be fine. So yes, it is only 2 games. Chill

They’re slow. I don’t know how this season is going to play out, but they definitely appear very slow.
Too many passengers
Every game no matter if it’s October or April is worth the same amount of points
I don’t care what this team says, they are old and slow. Compete as you will, but the roster is flawed and it’s gonna be a long season
I just want the buds to make post season, don’t care about divisional rank.
