I don’t get why our defense is such ass. By all accounts Trey, Shemaur, Knight, and Turner are all great players. Most of the others are at least average. Why does it all add up to 0?
Him and Dax may just give us a couple CBs to build our secondary around. I’ve liked Dax a bit more in the past but DJ has definitely shown flashes of greatness.

after watching him play before this year…. i was calling him a bust. i’m wrong but for the most part people got mad when i called CTB a bust…glad we’re pleasantly surprised

Happy to see he’s coming into his own. Was a bit nervous we drafted him as a Michigan fan because he was always athletic but I felt he relied on that to catch up to mistakes too much. Seems like he has put in work to hone his technical skills and the results have been great.

Gotta get Turner and Dax extended. CTB has the traits, but the mental side might not be there for him to have a complete game. Woolen has fallen off a little in Seattle. Wonder if a straight swap might make sense for both sides. Jags and Browns just swapped CB’s too. Situation was a little different, but this could still be beneficial to both sides.

He’s going to be a core piece we structure our new, young defense around as we rebuild (again). I’ve always believed he will be scary good when he reaches his prime; takes time in that position and it’s not his fault Lou didn’t play him.
