  1. *Marked safe from the Dev haters tonight*

Him and Keldon are defending with more intensity this year too

  2. His pulled up J was as pure as ever. He should punish the opponent every time they don’t switch on him. If he comes off a screen in midrange and no one is in front of him, let it fly.

  3. While people are focused on our King Wemby and the new shiny toys (Harper, Bryant, Kornet, Jones-Garcia), I was very, very, closely watching devin.

People don’t realize how critical he is for us once he figures it out. His shooting will provide the spacing for our starting lineup. His game complements Fox. He navigates PNR really well with Vic. He can create his own shots too, as he can drive and has a midrange game. He adds athleticism and dynamics in our core, and opposing defense respects him.

If dev can average 18 ppg this season for 70+ games on great shooting efficiency, and defends well in the perimeter, we’ll be good!

  4. Good shot selection, in particular very few unnecessary midrange shots, less hesitant to look for contact, dangerous in the passing lanes on defense. Very promising game.

  5. Not going to lie, Devin and Johnson as third and possibly fifth scoring options this year. Kind of gets me a bit excited. As second and third options. They were…. Not great to say the least

But now that they’re moving down the pecking order, I think they could look really good and maybe even a bit overqualified at times in those roles

  6. i think having a lot of bigs and everyone able to move really helped. the game is not that pressured to switch and do a group box out. we could leak and they enemy are always worried about help defense.

look how chill he looks when moving and finding people. this should be a taste given fox hasn’t played yet. we’ll see what that contract got us.
