The 49ers fall to the Buccaneers 30 to19 today. They dropped their record to 4-2 and that’s by no means a bad loss for San Francisco. The Buccaneers are a really good team and Baker Mayfield is playing at an MVP caliber level. What’s frustrating about that defeat, there were opportunities for the Niners to climb back into it and to steal this game, they simply couldn’t capitalize. Of course, the big story coming out of this ball game, the season ending injury to Fred Warner. Absolutely brutal and devastating. A gut punch and a kick in the balls. You can keep your heads above water without Nick Bosa. I’m not sure how this Niners defense survives long term without Fred Warner. He is irreplaceable and he’s one of the best overall players in the NFL and he means so much to this team as the heartbeat of it. As for the Sners offense, do not blame M. Jones for this loss. Obviously, the turnovers kill. He was a warrior back there. He threw for 350 yards. This offensive line is a problem. They can’t run it. And right now, the interior of Connor Kby, Jake Brendle, Dominic Puny, one of the worst interior offensive line units in the NFL. And it’s killing the Sners offense.

  3. Losing Fred is devastating! Everyone needs to step up their game that much more. Are we not professionals!! Be better than the man in front you. Hold your head up and each other accountable! We still in this Faithful!!!

    Losing Fred is terrible. He cleans up a lot for the defense. The Big cheese on that side of the ball.

    Mac showed what he’s been showing. He a baller!

    The offense line is terrible. Puni in particular has to be better. Not sure if he is playing hurt but he’s been killing us.

    This loss hurts but it was also a stiff test and the guys fought. There is only so much next guy up a team can take!

  5. Niners have no pass rush, now have a hole in run defense because of Warner injury.

    This team will have to play like college teams now and rely on their offense to win games by trying to outscore their opponents.

  7. Fred is the King telling is soldiers what to do basically. He is the Anchor of the team if both are gone everyone on Defense runs around like headless chickens.

  8. Fred covered up a lot of inefficiencies of the defense. There was one play where Niners couldn't even tackle Baker Mayfield. Why aren't Niners players not wrapping him up? Seems like defenders need to go back to basics. Baker was bouncing off defenders.

  10. They could have traded for a pass rusher to have a shot with returning receivers and little, Purdy etc…but now….their great defense went from an A- to a B- (at best without Bosa And Warner). Even with Hendrickson, pretty sure being the best is out of the question. They can be close perhaps as Salah is great but I dont see a path without Warner.

  11. If you still want to make it to the playoffs it's time to make that move bring it Maxx Cosby and I hickerson do the play for the Bengals and somebody that's decent enough did take Fred Waters place even in that even in that we don't got a dog fight

  14. rather lose Purdy for the season than Warner. Pretty sure we are toast again. Get rid of a lot of these old ridiculous contracts, fire the training staff, and perform an exorcism at Levi's.

  21. You said it!!! No O-line in free agency??? No o-line high picks in the draft?????? Been saying it for 8 months, paying a lot of money to watch Purdy run for his life!!! He and Mac Jones are hurt, Go figure
