Why Tua Tagovailoa should be handling Dolphins’ issues ‘in house’, not in media | FNIA | NFL on NBC

your reaction to the end of this game too. Unbelievable. I think for Justin Herbert to be in that moment and make that play. We all know Miami is not a good football team, but that Chargers team, they needed that win today and Herbert willed it. Meanwhile, to a tongue of Alo and the Dolphins, they could have used a win, but he had this to say after a tough loss. You have guys showing up to player only meetings late, guys not showing up to player only meetings. Like there there’s a lot that goes into that. Do we have to make this mandatory? do we not have to make this mandatory? It’s a lot of things of of that nature um that we got to get cleaned up and it starts with the little things like that. Well, you could see to a tongue by those are some strong words about accountability and your team. I mean, what’s your reaction and how would you react to that if you were in the locker room? I hated every bit of that. I I played in New England with Bill Bich and Tom Brady and coach Bichc used to talk about when you have true leadership, it doesn’t need to be talked about. So, if there’s a problem to you’re a captain on this team, you’re the quarterback. Go handle it. Don’t sit there in front of a camera and talk to media members about guys messing up. Get in the locker room, call those guys out by name. If confrontation happens, that happens sometimes. But I think to come and air out your dirty laundry and let everybody know that there’s a problem. We know there’s a problem. You’re not winning football games. Go fix it inhouse. Handle it that way. I think that’s true leadership. Hi, I’m Mike Tico and thanks for watching. Make sure to hit subscribe for the latest news and highlights from NBC Sports.

Devin McCourty explains to Maria Taylor why instead of talking to the media about what’s going wrong in Miami, leadership should be holding those individuals accountable behind closed doors. #NFL #FNIA #NBCSports #MiamiDolphins #TuaTagovailoa

  1. “I got to ride Belicheat and Brady’s coattails to Super Bowls, so I don’t know crap about adversity.” Gimme a break! All these former Patriots on TV think they are experts, but they were just barnacles.

  2. I don't like any player to discuss team's issues and considering he's not a great player he should stick to comments regarding himself. This undermines the coach's authority. Bad look tua

  3. Tua haters are unreal lol.. He really only threw 1 Interceptions that really was his fault lol.. Waddle bobble one that he should've caught & that was Waddle faught & the last Int was at the end of the game with 9 seconds left basically set up for a Hail Mail pass (trickery) the game was already over.. But ain't nobody gonna talk about the 2 touchdown drives that he led including the game winning touchdown that took the lead with 47 seconds left, the game should've been over but the special teams & Defense let him down again.. The defense is Trash & the Offensive Line is below average & ranked at the bottom & ain't good but people wanna blame Tua smh lol. If I was Tua, I'll ask to be traded cause this team is trash overall & he deserves better.. The defense been giving up almost 30 points in every game, you can't win like that smh
