MLB Network | “Yankees in 5” – Michael Kay reacts to Yankees defeat Blue Jays 9-6 in Game 3 ALDS
get the win. This is the reason that you keep coming back in sports. There’s the little things that annoy you all the time. People with big mouths, hot takes, all of that. People giving up, throwing their hands up. I’ll never root for this team again. And then a game like this where Aaron Judge, who’s been maligned, despite coming into this game hitting .44 in the postseason. Well, he hasn’t had big hits. Was that hit big enough for you? He helped the Yankees propel themselves back into the game. And all the great moves by by Aaron Boon. Five relievers. They didn’t give up a run. He took out Rodon because Rodon didn’t have it. This was one of those things all the boxes we checked. Jack, think about all the special and memorable moments that Aaron Judge has created at Yankee Stadium all season long. And now in the 168th game of the season, which could have been the final game of the season, he tops all of them with a game-tying three-run homer off Varand on a 100m hour pitch that was inside that he had to keep his hands in. It hits off the foul pole and everything changes. This was an inspiring win for the Yankees. Jazz Chisum followed up with a home run to break that tie. The Yankee bullpen was excellent and they’ve sent a little message to the Blue Jays right now. They can punch back and they did punch back. I don’t know how Aaron Judge kept that ball fair down the line up and in at 100 miles an hour and I think by his reaction not running down the line, he probably thought it was going to curve foul and it stayed true. But in games like this, Aaron Judge is going to get all the attention and rightfully so. But it’s guys like Cruz, Doval, and Hill who settled this game out of the bullpen. We’ve been talking for days about the Yankee bullpen who are going to be the heroes. Those are the guys that kept the game where it was and gave the Yankees and Aaron Judge a chance to come back. We’ll take a look at the bullpen coming up in just a bit, but right now, let’s show you the Yankees comeback. There are highlights presented by Hyundai. Bottom of the third, here we go. It’s 6-1 Toronto. It’s not looking good, but with Gisham on second, Michael Aaron Judge comes up. Yeah, the pitch is inside 100 miles an hour and can I say it? Oh yeah, it’s a double right down the line and that was a big hit for him and obviously the Yankees were chipping away. 6-1 became 6’2 and he’s on second base. And next up, Stanton will sky it to straightaway center field. Varo back to the warning track. Makes the catch. Bellinger is on third. He will tag and score and suddenly it’s a six to3 game. Now Flash, let’s take it to the bottom of the fourth. Flu Hardy in facing Wells. Yeah, Snyder goes to his bullpen. And the Toronto Blue Jays have been an excellent team defensively. Well, not there. Barger boots that. And you have to talk about Snyder, the left fielder. That should have been his ball. The Yankees catch a break. Can they take advantage of it? Next batter, Tread Gisham working a five pitch walk. Borderline high cutter there. So, it’s two on and Jack, they go to Louis Varland to take on Judge. Yeah, only the second time all season he’s been brought in as early as the fourth inning. And after Judge swung through one fast ball, he gets a 100 mph pitch, takes it off the foul pole. It’s the fastest pitch Judge has ever hit for a home run in his career. Yeah, he’s going to check out the camera twice. It’s 66 miraculously. Bottom of the fifth. You know, Jazz doesn’t mind a little camera time. Not at all. 66. Big deal right here. Varin deals and Jazz crushes the fast ball to right. Ca against the side of the second deck. A solo shot. The Yankees take a lead, a lead that they never relinquished because of their bullpen. And then John Schneider keeps going back to the bullpen. It’s Braden Fischer flash into face Wells. Yeah, these are huge hits with two strikes here by Wells. Drives it to right field. Santon Dere up at the throw. Rosario going to score easily. Wells gets thrown out at second. You can’t challenge it because they lost their challenges, but a huge add-on run for the Yankees. Eight to six. And then finally, bottom of the six, Brendan Little, next man out of the pen to face Ben Rice. Rice goes down and knocks that one into right center field. Sant there, the catch, but Judge tags and scores from third. So that is the ninth run again. They score eight unanswered runs and win it. Yankees greatest moments presented by Prevagen made for your brain. biggest comeback wins in franchise postseason history from six runs down back in 1996 in that World Series game four against Atlanta. But this one matching two other miraculous comebacks and again there were so many things that were going so wrong but Jack suddenly went right. It looked like the first two games of this series, the little breaks, the little moments, the great defense, all was going Toronto’s way that turned in tonight’s game. Yeah, we got it half right on the pregame because we said the Yankees needed to hit a couple of home runs. We said they had to get sturdy starting pitching. They got sturdy pitching out of the bullpen. But you’re right, Bob, when Barger drops that ball and he came into the game as a replacement. He was a pinch hitter, but he’s a solid defensive player. When he drops that ball in shallow left field, the Yankees had to take advantage of that. By the way, he gets charged with the error. That’s on the left fielder, Davis Schneider. You’ve got to come in and make that play. Now you’ve got Judge up there with a couple of runners on base. Schneider is going for it. He knows he has a bullpin game looming in game four. He brings in Varand, a guy who throws 100 miles an hour who already conquered Stanton one time in this series. He didn’t care about the numbers because here’s what the numbers say now. It’s a small sample size, but Judge is now three for six with three home runs off Varand. None more memorable than that one. This is the perfect win for the Yankees. It’s better than if they had won two to one and Rodon had pitched very well. Why? Because they emptied out the bullpen. The Blue Jays did. And the Blue Jays plan tomorrow, unless there’s a change of heart, is to pitch a bullpen game. They used everybody for the most part except for St. Anthony Dominguez and the closer Jeff Hoffman. They’ve seen everybody now two games in a row. They hit them on Sunday. They hit them today. And now, how are you going to get nine innings out of that bullpen? That’s what the Blue Jays have to decide. That’s why this was a big win for the Yankees and it was done in the right way. They didn’t want to fall behind 6-1, but the way it worked out, it was perfection. Yeah. And you wonder what John Snyder’s thinking in that clubhouse right now when Shane Bieber did not get the job done for him. He was so aggressive with going to his bullpen. And as this series moves forward now, Varland is not as big of a factor as he once was a few days ago with that strikeout of Stanton that you talked about. They conquered him in the fourth inning. Jazz has that home run. And you just start thinking if you’re John Snyder tomorrow night, how am I going to be able to get through this game with a bullpen game when we know he has his high leverage guys at the back end, but the Yankees have done well at the back half of game two and into this game with the middle relievers. You know, it’s interesting because if they w if they went um with their game one starter uh Gman tomorrow, that would be on three days rest. Also throughout the broadcast, Joe Davis and John Smoltz kept bringing up the name Y Savage, which doesn’t make sense because he’d be pitching on two days rest. But remember, those guys get to meet with the manager in his office before the game, maybe they’re told a little bit something, hey, if this happens, we might go with you Savage. But if they go with you Savage, then they don’t have a game five starter either, and they’re ahead in the series. I don’t see it. I think Gossman would be a side day. They t Snyder talked about that. Maybe he’s a factor in some point in tomorrow night’s game, but you’re not going to throw a young kid out there on two days rest and take a chance with his arm first of all and that environment at Yankee Stadium. He just made his fourth start. He was unbelievable. Five and a third innings, 11 strikeouts. I would be surprised to see him throw a pitch in the game tomorrow. And that’s why as we’re talking about what is ahead of the Blue Jays and Schneider, Aaron Boone put the pieces of the puzzle together tonight and they’ve got the win for the Yankees tomorrow. It’s one big puzzle. It’s Schlitler and they hope he gets them to the sixth or the seventh inning. So, it should be advantage Yankees tomorrow. But even though every win, guys, counts as one win. And the series is now two to one. I just feel as if this win is more impactful. It’s more monumental. The Blue Jays had not lost a game all year that they had led by five runs. They were 39 and0. So, for the Yankees to win it when the stakes were as high as they were, it has to seep over into tomorrow. And as Michael said, it seeps over into tomorrow because who do they have to get outs for them? Yeah. Let’s find out how it does impact the Blue Jays. Here is their manager, John Schneider. Given how much your bullpen had to do today, uh, do you have pitching plans for tomorrow? Uh, yeah. Um, probably let you know tomorrow. Um, you’re trying to, again, like I said before the game, you’re trying to take chances to win today, you know, and and it didn’t work out. Everyone’s available tomorrow, you know, everyone’s available, just not exactly sure who’s going to start yet. Um, got to talk through that with Pete and the guys, but I think um, you know, it’s everyone’s everyone’s available tomorrow. We’ll stay in that same spot. John, John, defense has been a a selling point or a strong point for you guys all season long. Does that make it more frustrating what happened tonight when you guys had the lead to kind of have it slip away like that? Yeah, but it happens. You know, it’s it’s baseball. You know, it’s again, said it a million times, these guys will be ready to play tomorrow. You know, it’s um, it happens. It gets magnified this time of year. Sure. all that kind of stuff. But, um, you got to take care of the ball, you know. So, is it frustrating? Yeah. You know, it’s frustrating today, but you gotta you got to come to work tomorrow, get, you know, get prepared and physical errors happen, you know, as part of the game, but you got to move on and get ready for tomorrow. I’ll say they’ll try and reset, but it does sound based on what he said like it’s still going to be a bullpen or maybe a opener starting for them tomorrow. Well, he did leave it open. Everybody’s available. Everybody means everybody. And what this reminds me of is what Alex Corin did in game two. He’s one away from winning like Schneider was. He took the ball from Beo very very quickly and went to the bullpen because he didn’t want to play that game three. Maybe Schneider knows that tomorrow does not favor them because Slitler was so good against the Red Sox and you really don’t have a pitcher. So, uh, it kind of mirrors what what Cora did. Yeah, I look at the fact that he pulled his starter earlier and I know that was getting some criticism and people were saying, “How could you pull Bieber after 53 pitches?” We talked about it as the four of us were watching the game together. Bieber was not lighting it up. Bieber was not throwing a ton of strikes. You look at some of the outs. Stanton hit a ball to the warning track. Judge connected hard against him. I think the Yankees were catching up and he’s going for You got a six-3 lead. His strategy worked initially because Flu Hardy got the out to get him out of the third inning, but it’s the walk and also the error by Barger. You’ve got to face Judge now. You’ve got a couple of guys on base. He liked the Varlin against Judge. It’s a fast ball pitcher against a fast ball hitter and Judge won. I had no problem with what Snyder did tonight. I mean, Bieber did not pass the eye test. When you’re watching the Yankees trying to attack him, a lot of good swings, a lot of hard contact. Again, the defense for the Blue Jays did not play a good game, but I give Snyder credit saying, “I’m going for it. My team is an aggressive ball club. We keep coming at you.” And he went to as one of his top relievers in the fourth inning and got burned. Now, this is the first time the Blue Jays are facing any pressure because they didn’t play in the first round. They went up 200. So, everything was hunky dory. But you got the error by Bara. You got the error earlier by Counter Fala, which allowed the first run to score. Then you have a misplay in right field by Santandere. They did not play a clean game at all. And if they felt a little pressure, then imagine the pressure that they’ll feel tomorrow. And I would also say the offense got shut down by the Yankee bullpen. So all of a sudden that lineup that was rolling through games one and two and at the beginning of game three got shut down by the Yankee bullpen. You wonder that how that’s going to translate tomorrow night. The Blue Jays also know the slug is back for the Yankees. Two home runs, three doubles on the night out of their 12 hits. One of those guys that had a home run, the big home run that made it seven to six, Jazz Chisum Jr. He talked on the field with Meredith Morocitz right after the game. Jazz, this team lives to see another day. You guys were down 6-1 and work your way all the way back to get the win. What is it about this team? There is just no quit. I mean, that’s what we do. You know, we come in every day and we talk about winning that game that day. Especially when we’re down, man. We’re we’re in elimination mode. And this is what we do when we’re when we’re about to get eliminated. You guys played two in the third inning. that Aaron Judge steps up to the plate there in the fourth ready to do damage off the bat. Did you think that was staying fair? I thought it really went over the foul pole instead of hitting him. But when I hit it, I was just ecstatic, man. It’s what he does. That’s why he’s the captain, best player in the league. How much did that change the momentum? Could you feel the momentum shift after that? Oh yeah, I definitely felt the shift after that, man. Like him going in the box and doing that just got us ready to go. You got in on the action there in that fifth inning, hitting a no doubter. Take me through that at bat. Um, I mean, it was just the pitch I was looking for. Game tied. Just trying to help my team in any way I can every time. How personally satisfying is it to give your team the go-ahead run in that spot? I mean, it’s great. It’s great. You know, you just come out here, you’re trying to help your team win every day, and if you can do it in a big way, it’s great. Hey, Jazz, the offense stood out, but this doesn’t get done without the work of that bullpen. Six and two/3 scoreless innings. How impressive was that? No, they were great today. They came out and they showed us what they got, man. And they showed all the fans what we got. You know, Cam Schlitler going tomorrow as you guys try to send it back to Toronto. How much confidence do you have in Schlitler based on what you saw his first playoff start? I have a lot of confidence in Schlitler. I’ve had a lot of conf confidence in him all year, you know, so we just can’t wait till he goes out there and dominates tomorrow. Jazz, congratulations. We’ll see you here tomorrow. Thank you. Thank you. Send it back to you in the studio. Meredith, thank you. So Jazz elect for five the crowd. So did Judg’s home run. And Michael, what stands out too is when you’re down 6-1 in the Bronx, it can take it out of the fans and maybe the team. Yankees didn’t let that deficit linger very long. Got the crowd back into it, got the players back into it, and they were off to the races. Oh, absolutely. And then, you know, Judges home run really, you know, sent the stadium into a rockish cheer. And all of a sudden, all the heat is now on the Blue Jays. the Judge home run. If the Yankees end up doing something special this year, you’re going to look at that and go, “Wow, that’s a big turning point.” And it’s funny because now we get all these stats. And it’s true that Judge has not performed the way he performs in the regular season, the post season. But that’s now six home runs in games where the Yankees are facing elimination. That’s a lot. He has 17 postseason home runs. That’s one behind Bernie and Mickey Mantel. Although Mantles were all in the World Series, he has done some damage. People forget the home run he hit against Claw A last year which was enormous at the time. But he has to silence the doubters. As I said on the pregame show, heavy is the head that wears the crown. He’s the captain. He’s the highest paid player on the team. He’s expected to do things like this. Today he did. He’s the MVP in waiting. He’s performing like an MVP. And speaking of home runs and as we try to forecast what Schneider might do tomorrow, Varand after he came over to the Blue Jays in a trade, he faced 99 batters as a Blue Jay pitcher. He gave up three home runs tonight. He faced five Yankees. He gave up two home runs. So, what does that do when Varland, who’s probably going to be needed potentially to get a big out in game four and the Yankees hope in a game five, what does that do to him as he goes out on the mound and has to face some of those hitters again? You know what? When we talk about Aaron Judge in a lot of our pregame shows, we talk about if he gets a mistake, he can’t miss it and he has to drive it out of the ballpark. Tonight, he did not get a mistake. That was a good pitch by Varand up and in at 100 miles an hour. Only the great ones can actually get there and the greatest of the great ones can keep it fair down the line. And again, I’m going to go back to this. Aaron Judge did not run out of the box like he thought he had a home run. I think he was standing there thinking this ball is going to hook foul and it just stayed true. What a moment for him on a pitcher’s pitch. Vland is going to be in that clubhouse for Toronto tonight saying I can’t throw it any better or in a better spot. He just beat me. And John, what made that even more impressive was the previous pitch was a fast ball right down the middle and Judge missed it. It looked like he was on time, but he just missed it and Barl was probably emboldened and then threw the pitch. I I think what I read was from the center of the plate. It was a foot and a half from the center of home plate and somehow he kept his hands in and kept it fair. It was just an enormous, magnificent clutch home run. Yeah, it was a it was a turning point of the game brought to you by Monafure Einstein, the official hospital of the New York Yankees. and flashed. Why is it so difficult for a guy to turn on that pitch as we take a look at that at bat pitch by pitch? Well, I think what you look at from Varland, he threw a lot of breaking balls to Stanton early and then he tried to finish him with a fast ball. Tries to do the same thing to Aaron Judge. That’s a 100 right down the middle and then he comes up and in way off the plate and Aaron Judge is just able to pull his hands in there, keep it fair and you can see Varin’s reaction. He can’t believe it. He said, “I can’t throw a better pitch than that.” 103.1 off the bat only 373 feet. I actually thought that would have went further. It’s amazing that major league hitters, the great ones like Judge Jack can make that adjustment in just a nancond to get the barrel there. Yeah, you’re not supposed to be able to do that to that pitch as Flash just detailed. Aaron Judge can do that because he got his bat. He kept his hands in. He got his bat to the spot. His bat speed on that was 78 mph which for Judge is about where it should be. And I just think in that moment, guys, he’s seeing what Varland is about. He just swung through a fast ball. He’s probably saying to himself, I’m gonna get a fast ball again. I I’m I’m not going to try and be a hitting coach or imagine what Judge was thinking. But maybe he’s thinking, I’m going to get to that spot a fraction of a second quicker. I’m going to be ready cuz I might get that pitch again. And don’t think that ball players don’t hear the noise. I mean, they hear all the criticism. Judges heard everything about he’s not coming through in the clutch. He hasn’t been big in the postseason. That’s about as big a postseason hit as you could get. The Yankees are facing elimination. They’re really, frankly, getting embarrassed at that point by the Blue Jays because Carlos Jordan had nothing. And you’re thinking to yourself, “Wow, they’re going to get swept out of the American League Division Series after going to game five of the World Series last year. It was an embarrassment and that one swing changed it from an embarrassment just to an amazing evening.” By the way, we got a lot of postgame reaction coming up in just a bit. We’ll hear from the manager, Aaron Boon. But let’s dig into what the bullpen was able to do tonight. It’s brought to you by Citizens Made Ready. And Fernando Cruz was first out of the pen and Flash. He had to be there in a hurry because Rodon was out the third. Yeah, Michael just mentioned it. Rhdon didn’t have a whole lot. And Cruz comes in, gets Barger to swing at that fast ball. Here’s the split and all of a sudden Cruz becomes a mainstay. Aaron Boone had a wonderful night going to his bullpen. Not only getting the outs, but limiting the amount of pitches that they were throwing. Next up, Camilo Dval forces Alejandro Kirk to Amed Rosario and that’s a nice play to get him, Jack. Yeah, and he’s going to come back out in the fifth inning and Vo who has been difficult for the Yankees to neutralize. He swings over that slider. Couple of batters later, Santandere lines this one to right, but just says, “I’m going to put on a show on both sides of the ball. Makes a great diving catch.” Next up, the Tim Hill lane. Underrated hero in this game tonight. He replaces Dobal in the fifth. How are the Yankees going to get these outs? This is the way he ends a strong inning. He strikes out Barger with a single uh with a a sinker. Top of the six, two outs. Hills fastball gets Schneider to fly out to left to end the inning. He was magnificent eating up that sixth inning and they needed him to do that. And then as we surmised, Flash, they’re going to get more outs from Williams and Bedar. Yeah, they’re going to have to be stretched out a little bit. There’s a fast ball to Baro up in the count. Top of the eighth, 3-2 right past Santandere. Williams was excellent tonight. And then later in that inning, Jack, they’re going to lean on Bedar to get the final outs. Yeah, we’re going to see Bedar come in right here and he is going to get this ground ball to first base. And then of course, the Yankees need him to come out for the ninth inning. And kind of fitting for the Yankees the way that Guerrero Jr. had terrorized them. He makes the final out of the game after a great diving stop by Cavoierro. So Bednar is able to get the save. That’s what the bullpen arms did tonight. I think it’s noteworthy that two of those five came over at the trade deadline and two of the five were also acquisitions, trade acquisitions in the offseason. And on the pregame, we talked about who’s in the circle of trust and it was a pretty small circle, but that expanded tonight. Yeah, absolutely. They all did their job. He used them at the right time. He had the lanes lined up what he wanted to do. But there’s one thing that’s going to be swallowed up by the Judge home run, and that’s the single by Wells that gave them a two-run lead. after they got the two-run lead that allowed Aaron Boone to bring out Hill for the full sixth inning. He got the he got um he managed to fly out to right, but then there’s two right-handers coming up with a two-run lead. He could pitch to them one by one before they have to go to the bullpen. And he did that. He got a ground ball a short and then he got a fly ball to left field. That RBI single, which seemed like a tack on run at the time, was enormously important. And it is amazing, guys, because we talk about this. The more relievers you were you use, the more margin for error there is. Five relievers tonight for the Yanks. They were locked down solid, but then for the Blue Jays, they had their problems. Yeah, I’m again going to say it. Aaron Boon had a really good night tonight. You look at all of those relievers and the amount of pitches that they threw, not too many. I mean, Williams threw 26. The rest of the guys are going to be available tomorrow night anyway. So, I thought Aaron was great on putting them in the right spots, but not extending them past that where maybe fatigue would be a factor or they’d be eliminated from tomorrow night’s game. Everybody did their job out of the pen. Judge put the Yankees in position to have their season saved, but the bullpen cemented that and made sure that there would be a game four. And you look at what has happened to the Yankees in this series. They’re number one and number two starters. Freed and Rodon have been hit very hard in the two games that they pitched. So for the Yankees to rebound tonight when Rodon was out of the game and it was six to one, they needed offense. They needed relief help. They got both. Freed and Rodon. Jack, they gave up gave up 13 runs in five and a third innings pitching and the Yankees still are alive in the series. One other thing, Boon had a great night handling the bullpen. But of course, people always find something they don’t like that he used up two challenges. He couldn’t challenge when Wells went to second base. But I’ll tell you what, both of those challenges, I don’t know if you guys agree, I think he was right on both of them. And I think central headquarters in New York, they were wrong. It was almost stunning that they got the catcher’s interference wrong. He clearly hit the glove in this series. Do not strike out. They struck out nine times and they didn’t walk a single batter. Yeah, I thought Yeah, Aaron was spot on with the way he talked about his bullpen, what kind of work they did. They weren’t overt taxed, but I found it interesting. Devin Williams f working multiple innings for the first time in years. And when we watched him, we can always talk about his change up, but it was his fast ball tonight at about 97 miles an hour. So obviously he had a little something extra. Yeah. In the pregame we said, can you get nine outs out of Williams and Bedar? And that’s exactly what they were able to get. And the other thing Michael brought up and it’s so true. Williams has had such a roller coaster season that there were times this season where fans would have put their hands over their eyes and said, “You don’t want Devin Williams in a big spot.” Now, you absolutely want him in a big spot. And going forward, there might be another big spot tomorrow. And Williams and Bedar are as trustworthy as anyone they have out there. And the key, and Aaron Boon brought it up a couple times, is nobody was so overt taxed that you can’t use them tomorrow. I mean, obviously Tim Hill pitched a lot, but I think that he could come in tomorrow and definitely give you an inning. I think everybody that was used today could give you an inning. They did not use Weaver. They didn’t use Blackburn, nor did they use Warren. I don’t think they want to use them tomorrow, although I’m sure they’d go to Weaver if need be. But they like most of all is for Slitler to give them seven or eight. Boon also talked a lot about Aaron Judge there. And the game stands out because of the home run that he hit. We’ve broken it down a variety of ways, but everything else that he did, the double, the diving, catch, and right. I mean, there was a lot to dig into there on Judge. The base running, the the fear factor of him being intentionally walked and then coming around to score, but we are going to remember this game for Aaron Judge having a great game, of course. And by the way, no one in postseason history has ever had this line. One homer, one double, four RBI’s, three runs, and a and an intentional walk. So, if you like quirky stats, you can latch on to that. I like baseball comparisons and to hear Boone put him in the same sentence as Edgar Martinez who was in the Hall of Fame and Manny Ramirez who would be in the Hall of Fame were it not for peed connections. that stood out to me because I can remember interviewing David Conn during his career and then interviewing him for a book and it was almost as if he he was back on the mound saying I couldn’t get an inside pitch past Edgar Martinez no matter how far I threw it in. He had a way of opening up and doing damage. I have a feeling Varland is going to be thinking the exact same thing when he puts his head on the pillow tonight. I’m also glad that that Boone had an opportunity to talk about what Judge means to this team because people don’t see it. They don’t see a voseiferous leader. And you know, Yankee Universe on social media the last couple days when that story came out that Stanton had that big meeting, a fiveminute meeting that he he called in Texas. Well, isn’t that the isn’t that judge’s job? No, because that’s what Derek Jeter did, too. You actually can pass along those responsibilities. Derek Jeter’s consiguary was Jorge Pada. So this time it was Stanton for judge. But I will tell you everybody in that room, just what Aaron Boon said, they look up to Judge. He involves everybody once they come to the team. He makes them feel part of the team. He doesn’t leave anybody out, including the people that work in the clubhouse. This guy is a different dude. And obviously Aaron Boon wanted to bring that out and maybe it quiets down the noise that has anybody even questioning what this guy is about. Well,

Yankees avoid the sweep. Up to Shlittler now.
I love the Yankees more than anything. Micheal Kay is sooooooo arrogant . He represents the worst part of our fanbase. His dismissive, arrogant comments are always so douchey!!! Zero humility.
So if Jays do well in Toronto it's cheating, obviously. New York does well in New York is just because. Got it
Fucking fickle assholes
Anyone who thought that the yankees we're going down in 3 straight are fools. Jays are the better team, but the Yankees are no slouches. Great team. They deserve to be respected . That power can't be denied. Go Jay's
Oh but I thought the jays were cheating, make up my mind,Toronto all the way
The Yankees literally scraped out a win the Jays beat themselves with errors and bad pitching. The idea that they’re just gonna win in five is hilarious. it was their third straight game where their starter couldn’t even go 4 innings and now they’re just these world beaters the delusion on that shitty island of Manhattan is hilarious.
One game at a time!
Yankees in 5. Blue jays have the dumbest manager in the league. He loves to pull his starters after pitching 2 innings when it matters.
Very happy for Michael Kay's blubbering tranquilized gizzard to have a nice long offseason. Congratulations to his New York Run Differentials on a disappointing season and a baseball team that, as the Great Buck Martinez said so truthfully, is not very good. Hopefully for the most aaaaaaarogant fans in sports Brian Cashman can personally deliver them some nice word salad in his end of season media availability.
Yankees lose. The yankees loose lol
Lmao nice call, idiot.
Wrong mike
LOL! All jock talk is BS talk. They're lucky they weren't gone in 3.
Can we hang on the rim now in October? Asking for a friend…
