I don’t know. Either we just signed a bunch of perpetually injured players, our training staff sucks, or most of our guys are soft. I don’t know which it is. Do we even know if Brock still has toes? Or a toe?
How come no one mentions Shanny is notorious for not caring about player health. His father was the same. They run their players into the ground. It doesn’t help they keep extending injury prone players.
Yep

How does Shanahan not alter his practice approach by now? What good has it done? Wtf do we have to show for being physical?
It’s getting harder and harder to accept this as random chance. Today’s injury to Warner? Sure. Random. All the non-contact and soft tissue injuries over the years? I’m not so sure.
What is different with the 49ers organization? The scouting – do they tend to like players with injury history that other teams don’t value? The practice – do we practice more or harder than most other teams? The conditioning – does our conditioning staff function differently than most of the league?
It’s been talked to death at this point. All of the above questions have been debated back and forth over the past several years. We’ll never have a satisfying answer. True randomness doesn’t seem random, so it is possible the 49ers have just been exceptionally unlucky.
It’ll be interesting someday to see what the injury stacks look like in the future someday under a different coach and GM. Don’t get me wrong – I’m a huge Lynch/Shanahan fan, but it will be interesting to see how the injuries stack up or don’t under the next regime.
Why put up a pic of one of our only uninjured players? Are you trying to jinx us?

That’s what comes with the physical mentality. YAC and running thru tackles. Defense all going after the ball carrier.
Starting to think the league has a bounty on us
I remember back in the days playing madden on franchise mode & there is an option where I can choose my medical team and the cheaper you go the more injuries you can occur, I do not know it’s just bad luck or we just have a crappy medical staff
Being a top 10 injured team 7/9 of years is beyond just dumb luck and it’s undeniable at this point. Wished one of these reporters asked about the training staff instead of the perpetual softballs.
I’m morbidly curious to see where we end up after this season. If we’re not #1 on this list again, it’ll only be because some other teams are also really going through it this year.
Greenlaw and Deebo both left… and are both injured for their new teams. So apparently the curse travels
You can’t tell me that kind consistency is just bad luck. Bad luck is random and inconsistent. Perpetual bad luck it more likely related to bad preparation of some kind. Bad medical staff, bad training, bad habits, bad coaching, or whatever.
CMC is staying healthy by absorbing everyone else’s energy. Do we want CMC or a full team. Can’t have both.

Kyle Shanahan’s hobby outside of football is collecting volcanic rocks from Hawaii.
There are rumors of the training staff being the worst in the league. They are the only team where the training room isn’t open after practice
I think at this point, it should be known as the Curse of Steve Young.
I’m starting to think it’s a Shanahan problem
The FO does take chances of injury prone players, many of our best players are old, but we get freak injuries at the worst times. Even started with the Harbaugh era.
2014 NFCCG Navorro Bowman tears up his entire knee and Iupati breaks his ankle. 2022 NFCCG Jimmy G can barely throw a pass. 2023 NFCCG Brock Purdy tears his UCL. 2024 SB Greenlaw tears his Achilles. Even something like Ted Ginn not being healthy for the 2012 NFCCG leading to the Kyle Williams situation. Jed York is a cursed owner. Lucky for him he’s rich and born rich, the rest of us will have to deal with this bad luck throughout his time as owner lol.
This is partly due to roster construction. Kittle is injury prone and never plays a full season. Bosa has missed 4 of his last 1o years playing football.
At some point, patterns are more than just coincidence
There is an entire team of people responsible for conditioning these players and preventing injuries. That team needs to be rebuilt from the ground up. This is beyond ridiculous. Shanahan is ultimately responsible for the lack of meaningful action to address this recurring issue.
Someone needs to fire the conditioning coaches.
Is it me or has anyone notice how injured we’ve been ever since Kyle Shanahan took over . What is he doing?

Seeing Fred go down was the last straw.
This isn’t a curse though. Contact Injuries happen, non-contact injuries are more preventable.
Non-contact Injuries often happen from overuse or poor load management.
Having muscle imbalances, For instance weak Glutes/Hamstrings in relation to Quadriceps Strength. (Common injuries for this are hamstring pulls and ACL tears)
Biomechanics Screening for individual players
Training on artificial surfaces.
Proper Nutrition & Recovery….. etc,etc
The 49ers are doing something wrong consistently and since Bosa & Warner are out for the season , might as well take the time to optimize every facet of the game for next year.
Well, duhhh… We’ve been cursed since the power outage at SB47. Ravens are bearers of ill omens.
