2-3 weeks to dial it in and it’s ELITE DRAGON FLACCEAUX time

  1. He didn’t play well but I agree that it went better than I thought it would. Lots of throws were 50/50 balls the WRs came down with.

  2. Given that he had less than a week to start learning the playbook and build rapport with his receivers, I’d say he definitely exceeded my expectations.

If he manage to lead the team to a victory on Thursday, I’ll buy his jersey.

    FTS!

  3. I knew his age was going to mean he wouldn’t scramble at all, but his arm and accuracy are still there. I’m not sure what exactly happened during halftime, but second half Flacco was what I was expecting to see for the entire game with our receivers.

  4. He played smart. He threw it away. He checked down when necessary. He made good reads. He made back shoulder plays. He had touch. Mf even scrambled a little bit. He made solid reads. Bought himself time. He played like a veteran should play. On a weeks notice….

Shit, we even ran the ball successfully a little bit.

    He gets an A.

(We shouldn’t have asked McPherson to kick that FG and should have let Flacco try to get more yards or a TD)

  5. He looked a hellava lot more competent than browning at the helm. Nice to be able to actually watch a productive offense

  6. He played really well in the 2nd half if we can do something in the 1st half we might be able to win something

  7. He needs to have way better ball placement, there were alot of times where he damn near threw it at the receivers feet

  8. I’ll eat my crow on this one. I fully expected him to only be a marginal upgrade over Browning, but if this is indicative of how he’s going to play then we should win some games with him.
