Waiting for a pass, they’re standing still. And even if you get the puck, bang, they’re right on top of you. Yeah, the connection’s not there. Lion makes the save. Shot up high. Rebound drops down. 6 seconds left. That’s going to go down the ice. McKinnon with two goals will sit on nine hat-ticks for the year. He won’t get the 10th here today. It is a 3-1 Avalanche. [Music]

Nathan MacKinnon scored twice, Martin Necas dished out two assists, and Scott Wedgewood stopped 28 shots to lead the Colorado Avalanche to a 3-1 win over the Buffalo Sabres.
