They they got they ass whooped. They were on emotional rollercoaster after a big win. Also, from locker room moral perspective trading a guy like Tyson Campbell in a manner yet did. Didn't hell the chemistry either.
“Flat” isn’t an “excuse,” it’s just an observation. Professionals are still humans. Doesn’t make it right, just saying I think is real.
I'm just going to play devil's advocate a bit. Everyone on the OL (save Walker Little who just sucks) is dealing with some form of injury right now, naturally that will affect your performance. If it becomes a trend instead of just one nightmare week then I'll grow concerned.
Aside from that, the pre-snap penalties have become a black mark on this coaching staff. We have an excellent rushing attack but we can't use it since we're always at 1st and 15 or 2nd and 18 etc. It's impossible to keep the offense on schedule like this.
