DISASTER: New York Jets’ Season in FREEFALL as Justin Fields FLOUNDERS and Aaron Glenn FUMBLES

You cannot win games in the NFL if your quarterback and your head coach are problems. And for the 0 and6 New York Jets, Justin Fields and Aaron Glenn are major problems. Locked on Jets starts now. Like our players, we sweat every detail because when you make every move count, pulling off the unexpected is only the beginning. Stay tuned later for highlights in this week’s moving the game forward. Mazda move and be moved. Well, the New York Jets are 0 and6. And there are lots of reasons this team is 0 and six. But I think you know that on any team in the NFL, there are two very important people who make the team run or who contribute to the team’s failures. These are the quarterback and the head coach. and the New York Jets are not getting enough from either their quarterback or their head coach. So, on today’s show, we’re going to talk about the struggles of Justin Fields, the struggles of Aaron Glenn, and what’s at stake for the for these two and for the Jets over the final 11 games of this season. And I think there’s quite a bit at stake. And we can start by talking about Justin Fields. I don’t need to tell you this if you watch this game. Justin Fields was terrible against the Denver Broncos. I mean, I can give you the stats. Nine of 17 throwing the ball, 45 yards, 2.6 6 yards per attempt, a 58.7 quarterback rating, a nine QBR, took nine sacks, just a horrendous performance. Now, one bad game in the grand scheme of things is not a big deal. Look, every quarterback has bad games. Maybe not as bad as that, but every quarterback has bad games. The problem is that it’s a broader theme. Justin Fields right now through onethird of the season, so you know, we’re now a third of the way through the season, he’s having the worst year of his career. And during his time in Chicago and to a lesser extent in Pittsburgh, because he wasn’t really the starter that long in Pittsburgh, we’ve seen a quarterback who has high highs and low lows. And the hope when the Jets got him was that they would be able to develop him and we’d see more of the highs. We’d see them more frequently. We’d see fields look stellar more frequently as he did frequently in Chicago, but not frequently enough. And we hope that the lows would maybe not be so low and be less frequent. Instead, it’s been a reverse. You’ve almost seen a fifth year quarterback regress this season with the New York Jets. That game yesterday, that was the second time in Fields Fields this season where he averaged 2.6 yards per passing attempt or less. I mean, that’s incredible. And we’re only six games into the season. So, two of his six starts, one third of the time, the Jets are averaging 2.6 yards or less when he drops back to throw. And that actually might be overstating the production because that doesn’t include sacks. If you include sacks, we talked net passing yards, which subtracts yardage lost in sacks. The Jets ended yesterday’s game with negative passing yards. I said this yes yesterday on my recap show of the game that you finished yesterday sitting at home watching the game on the couch or at the stadium with me. You finished the game with more net passing yards than Justin Fields. That’s a problem. That’s a big problem. You know, Fields took horrible sacks. I mean, yeah, they the Broncos sacked him nine times and yes, there were a couple times where the Jets offensive line got destroyed. There was a critical play in the fourth quarter where Olu Foster who just got destroyed off the snap by Nick Bonito. But NextGen stats tells the story. The average sack yesterday for Justin Fields was 5.76 seconds after the snap. The league average is 4.63. So Fields was holding the ball a full second longer than on your typical sack. And that suggests that the issue was not really the offensive line. The issue was Fields. And we know that he’s struggled through his career making his reads, but it’s again, it feels like it’s gone backwards from where it was in Chicago. And it wasn’t good enough in Chicago. There’s a reason he was traded for a late round pick last year. There was a reason the Bears could not get more for a quarterback with the first round pedigree than they got in their trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers. It’s gotten it’s gotten worse. Now, the receiver room the Jets have built has not helped. I think that that’s clear. This is one of the worst constructed receiver rooms I’ve ever seen. And it’s not just the low quality, it’s how little upside there was in this room after Garrett Wilson. And yesterday’s game kind of shows you what the offense would be like without Garrett Wilson. Patrick Certan the second has always been a tough match up for Wilson. The Jets and Broncos play practically every year. Every time these two have met, Certan has had the upper hand. It’s a for whatever reason, Garrett Wilson just cannot shake Patrick Certan the second. So, this was a game where you needed somebody else to step up and nobody’s capable of doing it because you have a bunch of veterans who haven’t who’ve done nothing in the league. You know, whether you want to talk Josh Reynolds, you want to talk Tyler Johnson, Lazar did not travel. And then you have Aryan Smith who, you know, nominally, I think the Jets view him as a deep threat, but there’s more to being a deep route runner than just running in a straight line really fast. I think that’s part of the problem is that the Jets thought that they got this guy out of Georgia. Just because he’s really fast, he’s going to be a deep threat. Well, he’s not. Um, and I think the lack of a deep threat is an issue with this offense. Um, you know, in Chicago, Fields threw deep at a really high rate and he wasn’t that good at it, but at least it forces the defense to be honest. At least forces the defense to respect the deep ball and not crowd the line of scrimmage because near the end of yesterday’s game, Denver was crowding the line of scrimmage because they knew Fields wasn’t going to throw deep. I think part of it feels probably doesn’t have confidence to throw deep because of how little the Jets can threaten defenses on the outside, but you know, the excuses only go so far. Look, I don’t care who the receiver room is. There’s no excuse for playing like that because even on plays where nobody’s open, and there were plays, I mean, you could see online some of the clips where, you know, Fields was staring down wide open receivers and taking sacks. But even on plays where nobody’s open, that doesn’t mean you have to take a bad sack. means, you know, maybe you’ve got to be a little bit more aggressive looking for running lanes. Fields has not run more than seven times. He has not had more than seven rushing attempts since week one. And I think the shocking thing for me is that he’s become like a non- entity in the run game. And you know, before the start of the season, we talked about how the Jets needed to have this dynamic rushing attack and that maybe the the rushing attack would make it easier to throw. Well, to have a dynamic rushing attack in today’s NFL, particularly on the level the Jets are looking for, the quarterback has to participate in the run game, you know, one of the reasons that the passing game is typically more effective than the run game, is the passing game is so much more versatile. You have five receivers out out in a pattern and a good quarterback can look scan the entire field and he has five options and he can throw the ball to the weakest to wherever the defense is weakest. Run games are typically far less diverse. you typically the run play goes here and you just hope you block it well. When the quarterback can run the ball, you add an extra dimension. It’s not as dynamic as the passing game, but you at least add an extra element where you have two options on the play and sometimes you get a third option on the play. And we’re not seeing the Jets really get to any of that on offense. You know, Fields was supposed to be a dynamic runner and at least to some extent that was supposed to make up for his limitations as a passer, but he’s almost a non-factor at this point in the run game. So, it makes this it makes this Jets offense super easy to to defend. They’re not really doing a lot that’s giving the defense trouble. And I I was at the game yesterday and on the last drive there were a couple plays where Denver didn’t even put anybody deep. They pretty much just loaded the first 10 yards of the field because they knew they would if the Jets ran it, they would have the numbers to overwhelm the Jets run blocking or if they threw it, if Fields wasn’t willing to throw deep, well, they could clog all the passing lanes. and the way Fields was playing when his first read wasn’t there. He was just going to, you know, tuck the ball and take a sack. You know, this offense is is a mess right now. It’s not all Justin Fields’s fault, but a lot of it is. And the quarterback play the Jets are getting is just not good enough. Look, I think we have to be mature enough to acknowledge that there could be a lot things that are bad about the offense right now, like the receiver room. And look, this receiver room, if the Jets had a better quarterback, this would really limit what the Jets would be able to do. But, you know, you can’t let Justin Fields off the hook. When the quarterback plays the way Justin Fields is playing right now, you really have very little shot as an offense. I mean, this was a good performance by the Jets defense. It was a performance where the defense gave up 13 points and put two on the board. And believe it or not, I think it was actually a Michael Clemens who drew drew a holding penalty in the end zone to get a safety and the Jets still lost. And we’ve said this many times through the years, Jets defense, great effort, offense squanders it with terrible quarterback play. And for Fields, you know, if you want this one bad game, but this has become a trend and we’re it’s not early anymore. You know, we’re we’re actually more than a third of the way through the season because we’re six out of 17, a little bit more than a third of the way through the season. And we’re seeing not just no improvement from Fields. We’re seeing him backslide. Now you’re on the Lockdown Jets podcast. We’re going to talk about another major issue with the Jets. I wish it was just Justin Fields, but Aaron Glennon and his coaching staff, I really want them to succeed, but they made it really difficult to defend them. There were some things that just cannot be excused in this Denver game. There are things that have been happening all season long that cannot be excused. We’ll talk about what they are as we continue here on this Monday edition of the Locked On Jets podcast. Today’s Monday edition of Lockdown Jets is brought to you by Mizen and Maine. Today’s episode of Lockdown Jets is brought to you by Mazda’s Moving the Game Forward. For those who believe it’s not just about playing the game, it’s also about redefining it. These are the moments that do more than put points on the board. They move crowds, move culture, and keep moving the game forward. And this week’s moment that moved the game forward is the safety of the Jets defense generated in the second half. It was Michael Clemens who drew a holding penalty in the end zone that briefly gave the Jets an 11-10 lead in the second half. The defense playing so well that they actually took the Jets from trailing 10-9 to ahead 11-10. If the offense could have done anything, you know, we may be looking back at that as the turning point of the game. Uh, you know, a moment, one of the rare moments this year where Jets fans had legitimate hope they could win a game. When you follow what moves you, the unexpected is only the beginning. And just like there’s more to every highlight, there’s more to a Mazda vehicle. Mazda, move and be moved. Thank you so much for making Lockdown Jets your first listener, first watch every day. And a big shout out to you every day. This is a daily podcast covering the New York Jets with new episodes each day through the week, Monday through Friday. The Jets lost yesterday to the Denver Broncos. The final score was 13-11 in London. The Jets fall to 0 and six on the season. And odds are when you’re 0 and6 and when you have the worst record in the in the NFL and you’re the only only of the 32 teams that has zero wins on the season, you’re not getting the contributions you need from key people in your organization. And there are there’s nobody in an on an NFL team who are more important than the quarterback and the head coach. We know the Jets are not getting the quarterback play that they need. And I I think I’m looking with increasing alarm at the job Aaron Glenn is doing as Jets head coach. If you’ve been a regular listener to lockdown Jets through the course of the season, particularly Mondays after the Jets lose a game, you’ve noticed a trend that every week, you know, I say I don’t think Aaron Glenn’s getting fired after one season, but as the games pile up, as the losses pile up, I have less and less conviction of on that statement. And I still don’t think it’s going to happen, but I feel less confident in saying that than I did this time last week. And I feel I last week I felt less confident in that than I did the previous week. And so on and so forth because increasingly I watch this team play and I just see a lack of professionalism from this coaching staff. I think it’s a horrible, horrible thing if you ever have to make a coaching change after one season because it shows that something has gone horribly, horribly wrong. And for the Jets, I don’t think anything could be less confidence inspiring than getting to a point where you would have to make a coaching change after one season. But you’re seeing the things that lead to coaching changes after one season. And we can go through a lot in this game. The thing that sticks out to me, I talked about it on yesterday’s game recap show, the sequence before halftime where the Jets fake a punt. So the Jets, you know, pull the move where they’re trying to steal a score before halftime because that’s why you fake a punt. You’re trying to steal a possession. You’re trying to get extra points on the board and then the clock runs out before they even reach midfield. And you saw Garrett Wilson get demonstrative with Aaron Glennon as the Jets walked off the field. And it was clear that the coaches the the players did not understand what the plan was that the coaches came up with. And they I mean I don’t think they could because the plan made no sense. In Aaron Glenn’s uh postgame press conference he said the plan was to run the clock out that I mean I can’t understand that you how do you expect your players to buy into this? And this speaks you know speaks to bigger issues because the players need to believe in what the coaching staff’s doing. And when the coaching staff’s doing stuff like that it’s really tough to figure out. And it’s it’s the type of thing that could could lead to danger because if the players don’t understand where the coaches are leading them, that’s the point where maybe the players start to tune coaches out. And I don’t want to get ahead of myself here. I don’t want I also don’t want to read too much into press conferences. One thing I will say is that when Aaron Glenn said at that postgame press conference yesterday that the plan was to run the clock out, it reminded me of stuff like Robert Salah used to do or Todd BS used to do where they got caught clearly messing something up in the game. And instead of just admitting I messed it up, they made it seem like it was like part of some part of some well thoughtout plan. The problem is like it makes you sound ridiculous because Glenn’s saying our plan was to run the clock out before the end of the first half. Why would you not try and get points at that at that stage of the game? You know, when you get the Jets offense had been struggling so much, you steal, you know, you steal a possession by hitting the fake punts. Maybe that’s the type of thing that could spark an offense. Instead, you you run the clock out. It just really mismanaged stuff. And, you know, we could talk about the timeouts the Jets wasted before fourth down plays. It just they wasted two before fourth down plays where they could have just punted or taken the delay of game penalty. You know, just a lot of bad decisions. The only one I’ll defend Glenn on I’ve seen Glenn gets get criticized because he didn’t kick didn’t try a 62- yard field goal on the last drive. The one thing I will say about that is I was at the stadium and I was paying attention in pregame warm-ups. Nick Folk was struggling I’ll defend them on. But you just see a general lack of cohesion with this team. And you see that the players are are show are starting to show signs that maybe they’re not buying into what the coaches are doing. And I don’t want to get again I don’t want to get ahead of myself here, but that whole thing with Garrett Wilson before halftime and Garrett expressed some frustration in this postgame press conference. You could tell S Gardner’s frustrated with the team being 0 and6. You know, I don’t think anybody with this team, even if expectations were low going into the season, thought we’d be at this point where the Jets would be the only winless team in the league on October 13th. And you know, you look back to the offense, um, it’s difficult to call plays when Justin Fields is playing like that. And I think, you know, typically the coordinator gets too much grief. But I will say this, I stuck up for Tanner Angstrand in my postgame show yesterday after the game. I went back and looked at a few things after the game and I I think I went way too easy on Angstrand because there were things about this gameplay that didn’t make sense. I mean, first of all, they needed to get Fields more designed runs. But here’s another big problem. Bree Hall had zero targets in this game. Jets didn’t run a screen and you know when the quarterback’s struggling so much when the other team is blitzing a screen you know particularly a running back screen when you’ve got a guy who’s explosive in space like Bree Hall and we know Bree you know Bree is not a perfect player but one thing you will say about Bree Hall is when he gets the ball in space he’s dangerous but the offense is struggling so much when the quarterback’s struggling to see the field when the quarterback’s really kind of just collapsing in the face of a blitz you dial up some screens to the running back to for Bruce Hall to not even be involved in the pass game. That was difficult to understand. Now, you look at some some other aspects of the coaching staff. Some things did get fixed. The defense did play better. But, you know, with the Jets, the problem is like you fix something and then another issue pops up. And I’m not convinced the defense is fixed yet. Like, we need to see the defense play well over a multi-week stretch before I’m convinced that that everything that’s gone wrong. Yeah. Like, okay, there were less penalties outside of the touchdown. There really weren’t breakdowns in the back of the defense to the extent we’ve seen in the first five games. And look, I mean, as bad as the touchdown was, the defense only allowed 13 points of the game. The defense came to play. So, we could say some things got better on the on the defensive side of the ball. We can say there were some discipline things that improved, but there were just too many aspects of this game where you did not see professionalism in the way the Jets were led. You did not see the coaching staff look like they’re up to the task. And you know, this is the type of stuff that leads to a coach being a one and done. I’m not ready to say Aaron Glenn’s going to be one and done yet. I’m not even ready to say that he should be one and done, but I keep looking for ways to defend this because this is really bad if the Jets have to fire him after one year. But I think through six weeks, there’s an increasing body of evidence that suggests that Aaron Glenn may not be up to being a head coach in the NFL right now. And that’s a really alarming thing. Here on the Lockdown Jets podcast, we’re going to look ahead. Now, we’ve talked about how the quarterback’s not doing the job. We’ve talked about how the head coach is not doing the job. I think it’s pretty obvious and that means that there’s a lot on the line for the Jets over these last 11 weeks. We know the Jets are not going to the playoffs this year. We know they’re not going to have a winning record, but the question is, how bad is it going to get? And will it force wholesale changes? I hope not. We’ll we’ll dive into this deeper as we continue here on this Monday edition of Lockdown Jets. Today’s episode of Lockdown Jets is brought to you by Supply House. We’re coming off another New York Jets defeat as the Jets fell yesterday to the Denver Broncos to fall to 0 and6 on the 2025 season. Right now with this franchise, you have a quarterback under the microscope and a head coach under the microscope. Nobody is really performing up to expectations for the New York Jets this year. You with a few exceptions. We can throw Garrett Wilson in there even though he’s having a rough game. even though he even had a rough game yesterday. But when you’re 0 and6, the people who get the most the most spotlight are the quarterback and the head coach. And it’s been really ugly for both Justin Fields and Aaron Glenn in 2025. And there really have not been a ton of bright spots for either. And that means that the last 11 weeks have a lot on the line for this duo. Now, as far as Fields goes, he’s going to continue to be the starting quarterback. Glenn got indignant at a question about whether he would consider making a quarterback change at his postgame press conference yesterday. And you know, I watched that and I really struggled with why Glenn would be shocked that he would be asked that question based on the way Fields played in the game against Denver and the way he’s played overall this season. Now, part of this is, you know, we’re not the fan base is not always the intended audience with these press conferences. You know, Glenn might just be trying to keep Fields’s head high. Glenn Glenn might be trying to like send a message to Fields that, you know, I still believe in you. We we don’t know what Fields’s mindset is right now. It’s got to be difficult with the way he’s playing. So maybe Glenn is try maybe Glenn thinks that’s the way he can get the most out of Fields. All I know is it was not a ridiculous question. And you know, even if you do believe Fields can turn it around and be your long-term starter. And I have to be honest with you, I’m not entirely sure why what rationale there is to believe that right now. Um, you know, Fields is looking very much like the quarterback in Chicago who wasn’t good enough. But even if you believe Fields can turn it around and be a longer term piece of this franchise going forward, you’re reaching the point where benching him almost might be a good idea just to give him a kind of a a mental break because it’s difficult. And we’ve seen this happen a lot in New York, uh, particularly with young quarterbacks where the losses pile up. You get you become the the lightning rod of criticism and it we’ve seen it crush quarterbacks mentally and you reach a point where it’s almost it’s almost worth it to bench a quarterback just to give him a little bit of a break. So, he’s no longer the focal point. Um, beyond that, I I don’t think Tyrod Taylor can really run the offense out effectively, but you reach a certain threshold with quarterback play where you almost have to make you you you you almost have to consider making a change for the sake of making a change because the level of quarterback play the Jets are getting is so bad that you have to try something. You have to try and change change things up. Now, you know, what can Fields do to prove he deserves to be the starter in 2026? It’s gonna be really hard because the biggest thing with Fields is not that he has not not showing the ability to play a good game. We already know he can do that. He had a lot of huge games in Chicago. He had a couple good games last year with Pittsburgh. The question with Fields has always been whether he can do it consistently. And the other question heading into the season, one of the things we were asking is, can Fields become more natural of a pocket passer? We know he’s never going to be a classic drop back guy, but can he improve the way he processes, the way he reads defenses? And the answer to that so far has been no. So I’m really struggling to come up with a scenario where Fields shows that he belongs as the leader of the Jets going forward because there’s just it just hasn’t worked. I mean he’s taken a step back if anything. Um and we’re nearing the point where the Jets are going to have to make a decision no matter no matter how indignant Glenn gets in his press conferences. And again I think like part of this is he’s trying to protect Fields. He doesn’t want to criticize Fields. um at this point, but we’re reaching the point where something’s got going to have to give with Justin Fields and it’s a very long road back for Justin because one good game’s not going to turn things around. He needs a stretch of really good football going forward and we haven’t seen the capability of we haven’t seen the capability from him to produce that. For Glenn though, I think there’s a lot there’s also a lot on the line and I think there is a more realistic chance of him turning things around because the threshold for getting rid of a first year head coach is very very high and it should be because it’s an existential event for an organization and you one of the things you see in the NFL is that there are organizations with zero stability that are firing coaches and GMs non-stop and these franchises never get good because there’s never a plan in place. these franchises are never going in any one direction. You know, what do I mean by that? Well, there there are lots of factors that come into play when you when you’re constantly changing coaches and GMs. And some are kind of intangible, just the general lack of stability in the organization. Others are more tangible. You know, the Jets spent this off season getting rid of players that ran the Robert Solid Jeff scheme. They brought in guys that run the Aaron Glenn scheme. Well, you get rid of Aaron Glenn, now you’re going to be stuck with a bunch of Aaron Glenn players when you bring in a new coach to run a new scheme. Uh, but the performance needs to justify a coach continuing to be here. And the stuff we’re seeing from Aaron Glenn right now is not just bad coaching. There’s a overall just lack of professionalism with the way the Jets are approaching things and the way the Jets coaching staff is approaching things. You know, I did not think we would ever get to this point with Aaron Glenn. I thought he was a guy who came in with a plan. And even though I wasn’t expecting great results this year, I was expecting a measure of professionalism that simply has not been there. And it, you know, it comes it it shows itself in all different ways. The way the Jets approach their game plans, you know, the schemes the Jets run, which in many ways have been outdated, particularly on the defensive side of the ball, not so much yesterday. Yesterday, the Jets defense did did a much better job. But also like the way Glenn is managing the game, he I mean he managed that game like a guy who never gave a first thought to game management before in his life. Some of the the things Glenn did, the wasting of the timeouts and the sequence before the half were just incomprehensible. And again, these are the types of things that can lead to bigger issues because above all else, you need players to believe that you’re the right guy to guide them forward. You need players to buy into what you’re selling because these players careers are, you know, in your hands. And the players don’t believe in you. That’s a big issue. And that’s the, you know, I I’m not ready to say Aaron Glenn’s going to be fired yet. I’m not ready to say he should be fired. But what I would say is that in a scenario and I don’t think unless there you know unless it was like an Urban Meyer situation where like the team turned on him before the start of the season in a normal scenario or at least as normal as a scenario like this can be. It’s very difficult to get to a place where a coach would be fired after six games. I don’t think we’re at the point where the coach would be fired after six games. But if we were mapping out preseason a scenario where Glenn would be one and done, this is how the first six weeks would have gone. Now, there’s 11 games left. There’s 11 games left for Glenn to turn this around. There’s 11 games left for Glenn to show growth. There’s 11 games left for Glenn to show more professionalism, get this team at least looking better, at least looking more organized. If he doesn’t, this would be a disaster if the Jets had to fire him after one year. But we are slowly moving in that direction. Still a lot of time to turn it around. But I’m no longer at the point where I’m saying that this is nonsense because it’s not. I mean, I don’t want it to be. Um, but at some point you have to look at the results. The results are just not good enough right now. So, it’s a there’s a lot on Glenn right now. A lot on Fields, but I don’t know what Fields can do to turn it around. 1. 4 rookie head coaches since Woody has bought this team.. no legitimate coach would ever work for him.. until he sells this team expect the same results.. BOYCOTT EVERY WOODY JOHNSON

  2. I was all for signing Fields and all for Glen if we can not get offensive HC. Poor me, how wrong was I. Fields lacks the most important treat for a QB and that is ability to quickly understand what is happening on the field. He can not toss quick screen pass as he does not see blitz coming to him fast enough, when he realizes his receiver is open it is so late that he is not open any more. He tries to run when he does not know what to do with ball, not when he sees opening. Let alone Engstrand has not made any play designed for Fields to run. Glen on the other hand has terrible clock management ability, wastes timeouts like he has 10 per half and is getting his team to start every single drive with a run. I am all for run heavy offense, but if opponents know You are going to run on every first time You are basically having one less attempt on every first and ten.

  3. What you say is true, however. The biggest problem of all, more so than the Head Coach and the quarterback, is the ownership. I don't see how the Jets are ever going to get better or get on a winning track unless we have a change of ownership.

We've suffered all these years and Woody Johnson has been the hugest problem for getting this team to get on back on track. He only hires first time inexperienced head coaches and that's ridiculous.. I mean, if you had a serious heart ailment and needed open-heart surgery, would you go to a Heart Surgeon that had never done open-heart surgery at all? Of course you would NOT. It makes no sense at all. But that's what he does. He only hires people at the top head coaching positions that have zero Head Coaching experience.

I think you have a better chance with winning by hiring an experienced veteran head coach who has at least some record of being a winning Head Coach. That's my opinion anyway, and I think, uh. Uh. Unless we get rid of this owner II don't see any hope of changing things? Unfortunately.

  4. The only thing I want to hear about Justin Field is. Do you think he was ready to come back. It seems to me that he was not or didn't have his full concentration. Maybe he was still hurt? The guy had been a shining light in every game he played in before this. With high numbers. Think about it. He didn't want to let his team down but maybe he should not have played. He is still a very good QB. All of these guys that are doing all of this talk like they are experts. I say shut up and keep your comments only on what happened in the games and stop judging players! Look at the whole picture!

  5. At this rate Woody will bring in Joe Willie as QB, HC and GM. Hell he could even digitize Joe's voice and have him sell hot dogs and beer in a fleet of newly designed Chinese robots.

This is how a nepotistic, egomaniac, ass kissing seeking, in bred minds works. His monopolistic businesses will never generate losses.

At least until the Chinese take over.

Woody comes from the same class of Capitalists who feared their workers and the Soviet Union far more then those many little Yellow skin men, which they had contempt for. And thus showered China with millions of our jobs, technology and hundred of billions of our factories and capital. Creating a Frankenstein which will put us in the Dustbin of History.

If they had read a little history they would have realized that China has been on the top of global food chain for thousands of years before our short stay on the top.

They would have also realized how along side of our big brother England, we forced opium down the throats of Chinese, including their children.

How we participated in their Civil war on the reigning Manchu occupiers side. NOT the occupied Chinese masses side.

Do you think that their century of humiliation is just propaganda.

Now Woody's best friend Trump picks a fight with the Chinese and our economy is tanking.

We have far greater problems then just the worse sports franchise in history.

But the source of our problems comes from the same bunch of infantile, nepotistic sociopaths. etc…

Even the worse of Roman emperors knew the whole purpose of these expensive games is to distract the Plebs from their corruption and incompetence.

Our Caligula shoves his "Woody" in our every orifice.

  6. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’m loving watching the Jets! What do you expect when the teenager son of the owner is the one calling the shots based on Madden ratings! I mean how could you think they’d be good!

  7. The Jets missed a GOLDEN opportunity the past 5-6 years, the Patriots were GARBAGE and the Jets did NOTHING, but ruin another couple of QBs! It’s a complete joke! Now you have Josh Allen AND Drake Maye in this division. Jet’s are doomed for another 15 years now! I bet whoever they pick in the next draft will be ruined too. You know they’re going QB, and he’ll be a good player somewhere else! I’m just waiting to see the Zach Wilson reemergence down in Miami! You know he’ll tear it up once he sees the field!

  8. As a GB fan I feel just awful for NYJets fans.
Your head coach appears to be absolutely clueless out there.
Like a deer in the headlights.
On live TV we watched him quit on his team before the half and then laugh about it.
And today you have to listen to his cowardly excuses about why he was a quitter.

  9. Quarterbacks can be saved, just not at the Jets
I hope Justin ends up a year or two under Kyle shanahan. She's a good kid and he got drafted during covid which is conveniently forgotten about. Some quarterback whispering is needed and a safe space to make mistakes instead of America's second largest and then largest media markets

  10. A few thoughts here. First, to all the people who said the Jets should get better QB play from Justin Fields in 2025 than we got from Aaron Rodgers in 2024, how do you feel now? Are you prepared to admit your mistake? I thought so. Second, the Jets simply are a laughingstock. One NFL executive I met told me Woody Johnson is not respected in NFL circles. Does this surprise anyone? I don't see anyone of NFL HC caliber lining up to take the Jets job. Third, I'm tired to seeing every NFL team other than the Browns find its answer at QB while the Jets continue their never-ending search. Fourth, we, as fans, put virtually unlimited faith in our HCs & GMs. Had we thought it through, we should have realized that if Mike Tomlin pulled Justin Fields as a starter and John Harbaugh let Brandon Stephens leave, there was little likelihood the Jets would be able to convert these players into capable starters.
