Get ahead of it and fire Glenn now

  1. Nah I honestly want to see how low they can go. Because if they continue down this spiral then there’s no way he’s coming back next season. This season is wasted anyway, let it play out. No other choice

  2. My brother & I (him born bred Jets fan) & me (born bred Niners fan) were literally just talking about this…& after Week 2 just coming off the miserable 1st year Callahan had with Will & then gets Cam Ward No. 1 overall…

From an organizational continuity perspective & POV besides the pressure he faced
to show results let alone progress ultimately it was going to be how he developed Cam which was going to make or break him…he obviously couldn’t screw up

    A. The No. 1 Overall Nonetheless Draft Pick in the Draft

    B. Now you’ve drafted a guy (who’s now a handpicked QB where most HC’s in this era don’t get a 2nd try) who most consider could be a better Steve McNair one day with unlimited possible range especially with his arm strength talent

    C. How are you developing him & the offense

It’s true…I said this with the firing today of Callahan that he’s so green to being a HC even if he’s in Year 2…that overall forget about rubbing anyone the wrong way, not being polished enough, not having X’s & O’s or taking accountability…throw out any intangibles tbh…he’s so green & just ended up being in such a depth that even when he “personally” didn’t do anything to lose a locker room…it’s already a lost locker room…

That’s sort of where after this London Trip Loss may leave Aaron honestly…
where he’s so green & happen to
have this uneventful start that he’s losing a locker room yet hasn’t even done anything to lose one yet (even though the coaching has been veryyy questionable)

  3. There’s not a great reason to fire him right this minute. If we start 0-11, maybe then. But it’s not like they can start interviewing candidates right now and even if they could, will bonafide candidates want to come here when we’re firing someone before their first season ends?

  4. i haven’t been paying too much attention to college this year, is there really a #1 overall pick worthy QB prospect in this class?

  5. The Jury is out on Caleb and Cam but Bryce young wouldve never been a franchise QB no matter who coaches him.

I’m way more concerned this regime doesnt pick the right guy and not so much that they “ruin” him. But anyway they shouldnt fire him right now…there is no downside to just letting it play out at this point.

  6. maybe OP is just venting but I would absolutely not fire Glenn in season and probably not after one season.

it’s hard enough to attract serious candidates to this organization. firing two coaches in season, early on, in back to back seasons? we’ll *never* attract a desirable candidate.

  7. I’d say lets continue to get coached into the dirt and get the #1 pick. Then fire AG in the offseason. Hire a new coach who can help us groom our QB prospect

  8. We’ve tried everything. Firing Glenn is futile. What decent coach or coordinator would want anything to do with this god-forsaken franchise after the clown show of the last 10 years? Nothing good will happen until Woody sells the team and we move to a new place. Short of that, we can keep hiring and firing every fucking game and nothing will change.

  9. I pin the Denver loss squarely on the coaching. I have a problem firing AG this early in the season. Otherwise, it’s time to clean house.

  10. If the season continues this way till the end, idk how you can justify keeping Glenn.
