For me, I like his effort he puts in every game. You can tell he wants to get better and wants to actually win. Last game you really saw some of his frustrations with drops when the camera panned to him.

One area he needs to improve on is better accuracy on passes. Ball placement has been an issue sometimes and we don't have acrobatic receivers to dive everywhere for misplaced throws.

Overall, i think he is definitely getting better each game as his confidence grows.

  1. He has been improving every week, but he needs to fix the red zone issues. If he finishes drives and scores, I think he could be QB1 with job security.

  2. He gets the ball out quickly, is consistently accurate, and doesn’t turn the ball over. I think he needs to get better at taking risks and pushing the ball down the field, but honestly Coach Moore might be telling him to play within the system and be methodical. After all, Moore could call more deep shots if that’s what he wanted to see.

  3. I like how decisive he is. And he’s made some great throws. The way I feel while watching him has become a lot more positive.

Year 3 will be the deciding year though, otherwise let moore draft a qb in 2027.

  4. What I really want to see is him go out there and win a game. I think he has been playing well, and mostly hasn’t been the only cause of us losing, but as a QB you need to be able to put the offense on your back and win

  5. I think he’s really good at navigating the pocket and creating plays with his legs whenever it collapses.

  6. His accuracy has been improving, against the Pats the drops seemed more on the receivers than errant throws.

I like that these games have been exciting, even if we’re losing most of them. Since my expectations are so low, I really don’t feel any depression after a loss like I did last season (or since XLIV, honestly).

  7. His improvement has been great, though the team doesn’t cut him much of a break. With that being said, I do believe if Spencer wants to keep the job he has to be the reason we start winning. Playing well enough to not lose us the game simply isn’t enough with this team.

  8. He’s up to NFL speed now and getting rid of the ball quickly and I like his scrambling instincts , but his accuracy needs some work, just to put the ball on the hands without the receiver having to adjust with greater consistency. At this point it’s just incremental improvements needed, he looks like an NFL QB now.

  9. I love his game and that he is improving every week, he should work on not forcing the ball when we are down late, just let the game come to you and find your spots, but he has been a really pleasant surprise

  10. His winning record needs to improve. Like him or not, he’s not starting after the bye week if he keeps losing. Moore wants to eventually see what he has in the guy he drafted in the 2nd round.

  11. I like his fast release. I like that he knows when it’s going to shit and runs. I like he keeps getting better.

  12. Hes young. He could be the next best thing, or he could be a bust…the fans will ensure hes a bust and hinder his evolution.

  13. I like that he doesn’t turn the ball over. I’d love to see him throw more deep balls. (Contradictory I know)

  14. He has great arm talent. He just needs to stop throwing so many check downs. Trust his arm more. He needs better ball placement too. Too many have been behind his targets. Olave had a TD if he were led. Olave had to slow down and reach back for it. That end zone pass to Cooks a couple weeks ago was open. He threw it low and behind Cooks, who couldn’t catch it. And for everyone saying “you had two hands in the ball, you gotta catch it!” hasn’t ran full speed and had to reach back for a pass. It isn’t easy.

  15. I love how well he handles pressure, especially with the weakness in the O Line. Issue is he needs to improve on those red zone passes. Honestly if he keeps up this rate of improvement though I am not worried.

  16. I like how his supporting cast is playing so poorly it’s basically impossible to know if he’s good or not and knowing our front office that might convince them to put off a qb pick until we’re in our late 20s

  17. We need 7 instead of 3’s plain and simple, and easier said than done. Our interior line is poor which makes it hard in the redzone
