  2. Bijan has 42 more scrimmage yards than 2nd place in the league, and #2-#12 have ALL played 1 more game than Bijan has.

  3. I’ll admit, I was crashing out after we failed to score before the half, then Buffalo scored, then we punted, but wow, what a game. Defense is legit.

  5. Just wish we didn’t have the F-tier announcing crew in. I was expecting Troy and Joe but got blabbermouth idiot Dan orlovsky who cannot pronounce the letter t and sounds like he just fell off a turnip cart in New Canaan.

  9. We tried to make it interesting. But then we scored to extend the lead while taking a ton of time off the clock, burning all of their timeouts and the two min warning. And then get a defensive stop to seal it?!? Boring, where’s all of the anxiety inducing mistakes and drama?

  10. Our defense smothered the Bills. Sure, they had a couple of drives where they looked unstoppable but shit, they have Josh Allen and James Cook.

    This defense is for real, folks! Big time win for Raheem and the boys. Let’s keep it going next week!

  13. That throw from Penix nearly cost the game, I always wonder what these coaches are thinking. Theres probably a 2% chance of losing at that point with most of that being from a fumble. Bills had no timeouts and a chip shot makes it 10 points, why is that ball going in the air?

    Also that Monday Night Crew is absolutely brutal to listen to. I can’t believe that is the best ESPN can come up with. The 3 ball just does not work.

  21. Defense holding teams to less than 125 yds per game. 118 before the reigning mvp jAllen and held him down pretty well. Great statement win and a great job for the defense to show out.

  23. I’ll admit I did not see this coming. Thought Buffalo was gonna get well on us.

    Penix has got to get more confident because we can’t rely on Bijan to win everything for us. He is amazing, but if he goes down or we kill him by making him carry us every game, we’re done.

    Was nice to see the team play hungry, especially the D.

    Also, Bob Rathbun quite literally sat in the seat in front of me in the fourth quarter. Incredibly nice guy.

  34. That was fun. Obviously winning, but even a close loss, so long as the play is sharp and professional, and without stupid mistakes, it’s fun to watch. Just smart, solid play across the board.

  36. Some thoughts about the big win tonight:

    • If I were Raheem I’d try to give the entire defense a game ball. They were INCREDIBLE tonight. Absolutely saved the game for us in the second half.

    UPDATE: Raheem did everyone on defense a game ball!

    • Penix was fantastic in the first half, not so great in the second half. It seems the Bills made an effort to take away London and his first read in the 2nd half, which caused Penix major issues. He’s still growing (hasn’t even started a full season yet) so hopefully that gets better, same with his accuracy at times.

    • Bijan is the best offensive player in the NFL, he’s incredible. There are times where we move away from the run and it drives me crazy. Or Bijan gets us down to the red zone and we pull him. Love Tyler but maybe let Bijan stay in a bit more.

    • Special Teams still needs to get better, blocked kick tonight sucked. We have to find a long term answer at kicker.

    • Raheem didn’t have a Jake Matthews update after the game, hopefully it’s not serious.

    If anyone noticed anything on why the offense slowed down in the second half I def want to hear. But huge win. On to San Francisco for another big game.
