He does not run well at all. And another strike out for Yavage. So he will ring up three, but the Mariners score three. It’s a ground ball to the right side. The flip is behind Gilbert. Springer will score. Lucas to second and it’s three to one. Just what the Blue Jays needed, a break. And he lines a ball to right center field. It’s a base hit. Lucas in to score and the Blue Jays are back within a run. Changed his life. Changed his career. There it is as he got him. That actually might have been the slider. It was. And he did it. Another clutch hit for Lucas. Clementing to score. Springer around to third. What an October for Nathan Lucas. Here’s Suarez. Line drive left center. Bar show there. Dives and he’s got it. The ball’s not carrying here and it surprised a couple of the Blue Jays out there. That ball was spinning down making its way toward the turf and the gold glover in center snares it just before it hits this artificial surface. Another terrific defensive play by the Blue Jays. They got a lot of arms. Swinging a miss to get Vo and end the inning as Gilbert sets them down in order for the bottom of the third. Well hit ball to deep right center. Faro back and it’s gone. And Jorge Palano has done it again. A three-run homer and the Mariners are back on top. This is Derek Skoo and the Tigers. And that’s 98 on the outer half. He stays on it and this ball clears right out of the ballpark. Two two from Barley. Swung on and missed. Two down. the break there on a fast ball for strike three called that’ll retire the side but the Mariners go on top and a home run by Palano and a high fly to center back and can’t make the catch boy kind of got twisted around there and it wound up a couple of feet to his left bouncing off the wall in center and Garber is all the way around to third very well out there Watch how he gets turned around. He looks for the wall. Knows he’s got room, but then the ball is right there. He looked like he hit the wall before. He made a jump like he jumped a little bit too close to the wall. 3-2 [Applause] and a little looper is going to drop in in left for a base hit. Revas will race home and it is seven to three. Runner at first. Two down and the pitch. Swinging a miss. tie him up with an up and in slider to get him and retire the side. Marshall hits it a long way to right field but not quite far enough just shy of the wall. Robless makes the catch. Two down. Blanco not going and it’s hit hard by Naylor to right field and it is gone. Another home run for the Mariners. their third of the game and that will make it nine to three. [Applause] And Naylor’s third hitter of the ball game. [Applause] Line to center right at Vario. He’ll make the catch. Suarez will tag and score. And the sack fly makes it 10-3. Now the 3-2 and a swing and a miss that’ll retire the side. Grounded to third to second one to first to end the ball game. And the Mariners come into the Rogers Center and win both. A lowscoring affair last night, but they got after it tonight. Hit three big home runs. They beat the Blue Jays 10-3. [Music]

The Toronto Blue Jays’ struggles continue as they dropped game 2 of the American League Championship Series to the Seattle Mariners by a convincing score of 10-3. Rookie Trey Yesavage mustered only 4 strikeouts across 4 innings, a far cry from his dominant postseason debut in the ALDS.
