I don’t care about the weak draft class, Cam Ward is an undeniable talent. I’ve seen folks on here calling him a bum, that’s just simply not true… 5 games with the worst coach (statistically speaking) in NFL history and a bottom 5 line, a 32nd ranked WR corps, and an extremely “meh” running game isn’t enough to make me lose faith.. There’s a really good quarterback in there, just gotta find a coach who’s willing to build a system around his strengths

Folks on here are just stupid and heavily reactionary. There is a loud minority saying they want Gruden here. There are people asking for arthur smith. There are people legitimately considering whether we should hire jeff fisher not just as an interim coach but full time. People here don’t know ball for the most part and should be largely ignored, especially if they are calling Cam ward a bum or bust after just 6 games

We also need Cam to fix his weaknesses as well. As easy as it is to make everything Brian Callahan’s fault there is blood on Cam’s hands as well.
We are an AFC team. Defense and a solid run game wins in the AFC. Cam ward will only go as far as this team allows him. The talent is there, we just need a coach that gets the best out of his players..
If this were the NFC all we would need is Kliff Kingsburry and a solid secondary.

Eric morris. This is the real coach we need to target and build around for cam. No bigger can believe than Eric Morris. Not only found can ward and believed in his potential, but also took cam to wash st and flourished. Fast fwd to now, Eric morris really has turned north Texas to a fringe top 25 team around a 17/18 yr old qb who wasn’t a top recruit

I think Cam is gonna be a special player! I’m so excited to watch him grow.
Cam needs to learn when to take the easy lay up. Take what the defense gives you. He also needs to play in structure more now that the protection should be better with latham back. That means standing and navigating the pocket and stepping into it not just dropping back and bailing .
There is so so many little areas we need to look for improvement in yet it will be very difficult since we are using a scheme from a coach who is no longer here. Its also a scheme that has proven to extremely flawed/ineffective.
We are 2nd to last in motion used which im def. Hoping we see more of in hopes for misdirection and gaining mismatches.
One if the major areas cam needs to work on is his anticipation and touch on throws. You can’t wait for someone to be wide open every play(especially with our dogshit WRs) and not every pass can be a piss missle.
This is what they call cherry picking. He has a lot of Issues to fix. He might be good, but we don’t know yet. He is a rookie though, so it is okay.
