We all know they’ve improved a lot in recent years, but let’s not take this for granted. They’ve become one of the more consistently dominant units in football. Get Chuba back and run this two headed attack, proper. It’ll be fun to watch. 👊 👊

  1. I think we should start with Rico and end with Chuba. Rico looks like he’s a lot better in space with unbelievable acceleration and speed. Chuba on the other hand is incredibly consistent, even if the o line is barely holding up he’s going to get you 3-4 yards no matter what. So to me it feels natural to play Rico early when your o line is fresh and ready to play bully ball, then as they tire towards the end of each half, start to give more and more snaps to Chuba. I also think Chuba is a little better on pass protection, Rico was letting a few defenders get into Bryce’s face on the RPO’s, so that could also be a situational decision if you want to take a deep shot and need time for the routes to develop. You’d want to avoid tipping off the opposing defense that you’re trying to pass by bringing in Chuba on an RPO though, but as long as you also give him plenty of run plays I don’t think that will be an issue.

  2. Put ‘em both in the backfield at the same time and run triple options too 🤷🏼‍♂️

  3. They’re playing well, and with a lot of injuries. And a lot of this to me, watching it, is on coaching. We’re being extremely creative in moving guys around, in calling motion plays on the OL, on running trick plays where it looks like we’re going to move power and end up blocking zone….the playcalling on the line has been extremely impressive.
