Does the “leverage” rule only applies against the Broncos? 🤔

Man I’m sick of the whining from the sub about that call. It was a penalty. It’s enforced unevenly. Quit bitching and move on when we’re 4-2 and probably a playoff team anyway
Yea
If lutz hits the fg we would’ve won that game we had our chances and the fact that people still complain about that pentaly call yes it sucks but just move on.
Thanks for pissing me off so early in the morning! We were supposed to be 5-1, leading the fucking AFC if the refs didn’t hate us
The anti-doomer crowd are whinier than the doomer crowd. Tell me why I’m wrong.
Yup. Pretty sure the last time I saw it called, before the colts game, was also against us too. Lmao
Leveraging is the holding of special teams, you can call it on every field goal attempt, It’s Ok just means the Colts will royally screwed late in the season.
No one left their feet and landed on the long snapper. I genuinely don’t think anyone here understands the rule.
It was Tillman who was called for the leverage call in our game. He jumped, and landed on the long snapper.
For the record, he is also the guy that missed the tackle that led to the Jets big kickoff return Sunday. The coaches are probably not too happy with him so far.
Fun fact, that leverage call is the difference between the Broncos being 1st in the AFC and 7th. Good thing the playoffs don’t start today
At least they also lost by 1
I have no reason to believe the refs have a special beef with the Broncos. That being said, I am absolutely sick of the state of officiating and I refuse to not believe my lying eyes longer. Every week, the football media either explaining away an absolute bullshit call, or fuelling a made up controversy over a dick punch call that turned out to be the right one, or laughing at the Chiefs getting away with murder.
All I know is the NFL is starting to have the same viewing experience as WWE. Like there’s narratives, scripts, and the only purpose the refs serve is to act as heels enforcing the narrative or trolling the fans.
No shit!
There was the cowboys play that was even worse this weekend, one guy held a player down while another jumped over him to attempt a block
I swear I see this happen on every single kick. That penalty directly contributing to a loss was so bad. Especially now that Indy is looking good, our places should be switched in the standings
The NFL is such a flawed product. They literally throw flags when they feel like it and look the other way as well. I like football a little less every season.
Not putting games away when the team could have is the reason for the current record. This is the most pedantic, straw-grasping junk possible. The offense not being able to get out of its own way should be the concern. The play being referenced is clean btw.
I don’t know, I hate to be a conspiracy theorist around officiating in the NFL but the refs stealing that game from us against the Colts felt very egregious. I see players doing that on a LOT of field goals and we didn’t even block it, the kicker just missed. I can justify the call if it lead to us blocking it, but otherwise it’s just the refs deciding who wins.

It only applies to Sean Payton
