Cowboys Rookie Donovan Ezeiruaku Looks Like An ABSOLUTE STEAL… | Dallas Cowboys News |
Donovan Ezaraku is becoming a superstar. Last week he did a really good job in run defense. This week he had about six pressures on the quarterback. Couple of hurries. This dude is becoming a really good player for them at a fast pace. Right. But also the Dallas Cowboys in this game. You might not believe me, but they had 32 quarterback pressures. 32. That is unbelievable. And look at this play here. I wanted to break down Don Desert. So, they’re going to be in a full slide where they’re actually going to pull the left tackle and left guard from left to right. We’re going to fake a hand off this way to Bruce Hall and they’re going to get the running back out into the flats. So, this play is designed to have Donovan kind of either bite on the run or just be unblocked at at any point in time, right? But people underestimate his speed off the edge as a five-tech. Um, he’s able to get instantaneous pressure and really force Justin Herbert into an or not Justin Herbert, I don’t know why I said that, Justin Fields into an early pass. Now, they do complete it for a 10-y pickup here. Um, but in this video, what I wanted to really showcase to you guys is his ability to get to the quarterback. It is becoming really good. Okay, before we dive into the video, do me a big favor. Hit the like button. I dropped the Shamar James video on the second channel, Matty Dub’s NFL Film. go check that out. But if you want another Dallas Cowboy video, whether it be Dak Prescott or it could be anybody. Just let me know in the comments down below. Hit the like button, subscribe, turn on post notifications, and honestly, let’s just dive right into the film. I am excited for this video. All right, another really good rep here. You’re going to see Donovan Ezrau here at the top of your screen. Now, we’re really trying to prevent the tush push. Okay, so everyone’s kind of congested in the middle here. They come out on 13 personnel. They’re going to motion tight end from left to right, but they’re going to utilize a play fake and a bootleg out to the left side. Watch Donovan Ezrau kind of destroy this left tackle, right? He’s going to use his strong arm to swap down, right? He takes his arm and he throws it down, gets to the edge, and now boom, look who’s waiting for him. Look at the change of direction as well as he kind of bites on the run fakes just slightly, but change of direction, gets back in there, and him and Martis force an incomplete pass there. Great job by Don of Nezaraku right here. Again, all we want to see is his ability to get to the quarterback. Whenever we can generate pressure, okay, again, they had 32 pressures in this game. Whenever you can generate a pressure, you can force a bad pass, a bad decision, a sack, a force fumble, an interception, maybe even a holding call on the offensive line, right? So, generating pressure is the most important thing. And Domaku and his teammates, they did a great job. Dante Fowler had six pressures alone, right? Osa Dazua had five. James Houston had five and two sacks. Donovan Rocku had four pressures in this game. Just did a really good job. Let’s keep going. All right, another solid rep here. He’s actually lined up as a wide five technique where he’s just trying to utilize his speed off the edge. We’re going to see him actually get his bend into it as well. Now, what I mean by that is once he hits this corner, you’re going to see him lower his center of gravity. He’s going to use his off arm to kind of hook upwards through the uh the outside arm of the tackle. Right? Look at him. Lower center of gravity. The reason we do this is because these tackles tend to be big. Right? So, they just can’t get low enough to engage that pad level. So, as we bend off the edge, we hook through, create pressure, force that ball to come out a little bit early, and it’s a bad throw. Look at this throw. Okay. It’s barely barely caught by uh Garrett Wilson. If it’s not caught, it’s interception. This is why we need to force pressure because you can force interceptions, force bad throws just like that if it wasn’t for a Garrett Wilson one-handed snag out of nowhere. That would have been probably a pick six in the other direction. Let’s actually go to the other angle. Um let’s watch Don Mzeraku here again. wide five, low center of gravity. Look at him get low here. He’s just too He gets so low the tackle can’t do anything. We hook through with our arm and then again force that pressure. What a catch. So lucky. You can see Trayvon Diggs like, “Hey, you are so lucky.” Pats him on the head. Crazy catch. Week five of the NFL season is officially here, which means we all have a chance to over 1,000x hour money with the Sleeper app. Now, before we go into some picks, I do want to share with you if you use my promo code, they will give you a 100% match deposit up to $100. Meaning, if you put in 50, they’ll give you 50. If you put in 100, they’ll give you a hundred. Essentially, it’s a no-brainer. Go do it if you haven’t already done so. But, I want to talk about what I’m going to put in for this week’s light of games. I do want to look at Detroit and Cincinnati. Now, Jameson Williams has struggled as of late um with catching the football. So, I’m going to go more than 41 and a half receiving yards for him. I think that is something that can happen pretty easily for him in this game. Alls it takes is one catch for him is JO, right? I’m also going to go to Xavier Worthy and I do want to look at his yard line. It’s at 54 and a half, which I don’t mind. And you know what? I do like that. I’m going to go more there. And ultimately, I feel like I’m fine with that. However, BTJ struggled as of late. I’m going to take his yards. I’m going to go to 40 plus. I don’t like the 56. I’m going to go 40 plus and I’m going to go more than that. I think that’s fair. I think that’s a solo lineup there. Put in 20 to win 64. I like to play it safe. But what do you guys like to do? Let me know in the comments down below. And again, use promo code dubs and you’ll get a 100 $100 match deposit on your first deposit. Um, terms and conditions apply. See Sleeper terms for use of details. Currently operational in 25 states. Check out Sleeper today. Lastly, I believe they’re giving a free $20 entry. No deposit needed. So, go claim that as well. Again, it’s just another opportunity to make money from it. So, go check it out really quickly. Let’s get back into today’s video. Another rep here. Again, lined up to the bottom side of your screen. Five technique outside shoulder of that tackle. Um, now on this play, the offensive line is going to be in what we call a fiveman scat protection, which means they have a slide side, which is going to be here. Then you’re going to have man-to-man off here to the left. Okay, so one-on-one option. They do have a running back in the back field. He could chip and release, but he doesn’t. So, as we get this matchup, we get way too congested. Our inside guy kind of gets beat and kind of pushes him into Donzaraku, which kind of ruins his pass rush for the moment, but still has leverage to the outside shoulder. Now, as he’s trying to get off this thing, he just can’t. But he does initiate just a little bit of pressure as well as a couple of other guys, right? Just doing a great job generating that pressure. Looks like maybe James Houston maybe um gets a little No, actually that might be Java. Might be Java. Looks like 4 to2. Yeah, Javon Clown. He gets that pressure. But you see Domin never give up. Dives for the sack. Just can’t get it. We do force incompletion though. Let’s look at this from the other angle really quickly. So again, five technique outside shoulder of this tackle. And again 76. The left guard looks like he just kind of bullies the inside guy just enough to throw Donovan off his pass rush. Look at Look at Java. Javon flies in there now. Does a good job beating his guys to the inside because we’re setting an edge rush blitz. The right tackle’s got to pick him up. A little bit of a hold there as well. Try to get that sho string. Not a bad rep there by the defense. Okay, once again, now they come on 23 personnel. We’re going to run off the play fake. You’re going to see these guys get to the inside. We’re going to leave Domzraku unblocked off the edge. Never a good thing. He’s way too quick. But with the priest motion, they are going to get the fullback into the flats. Pretty much immediately have this Roco a little vertical as we slide that thing into the flats off the play action fake to the running back as Rocku does a good job completely forcing Bree Hall to whiff on this block. Look, look at him get skinny here. Avoid the block and we got pretty much instant pressure on Justin Fields, but we don’t do a good job covering up that fullback. We just play a little bit too soft here with Donovan Wilson. I believe that’s Don Wilson. Again, playing way too soft of coverage there. We got to be quicker on that. But again, big shout out to Donovan. Look at him make a miss in the back field. And we’re we’re right there. Just unfortunately, they do end up getting a touchdown on that play. But, uh, in terms of Donovan, did a great job. Now, another free rush. We got a missing assignment for the, um, for the offensive line here. They’re going to notice a kind of stunt over here. We got Donovan just coming off the edge. But with that stun action, you’re going to see the tackle kind of rotate over and protect that. Running back should either have that man side or he should have the gap. And if he has the gap, then the tackle should pick up on the edge obviously, right? That’s just how it works. So on this play, they’re going to notice the blitz and it looks like the tackle immediately shifts over. Running back Bruce Hall does not go to the outside and Donovan gets a hit on the quarterback from the from the blind side, the backside um on this play specifically, but they do pick up a touchdown. So the two hits that Dominaku had in this game, they were touchdowns. There’s unfortunately there were touchdowns, but in my opinion, he is drastically improving from week to week, which is exactly what you want to see. And we’ll continue to monitor that going forward. Hit the like button, subscribe, join the family, turn on post notifications if you want more film analysis, and we will drop that ASAP. He had a good game this week. And uh so the Cowboys, another big time win. Should have won last week, won this week. Keep stacking W’s. I think they’re better than we

Our starting LBs are too SLOW, and the prevent/zone defense we play just sucks. Because our D Coordinator refuses to construct our D around our players best attributes vs his stupid prevent/zone D. And vs a good OL, our DTs CANNOT stop the run. Dak may be in the best season he’s EVER going to have w/o injuries (Way too early to say). Finally has a good running game which could be great IF Blu can incorporate his speed into the game as our secondary RB, but it’s still a big IF. Also FINALLY have an excellent #2 WR. How long has Dak had to wait for that?? Jerry needs to add about 3 – 5 D players but, of course, he won’t. We finish 9-6 and that’s IF we quit losing starters to injuries.
Just play the video bro , talk too much lol
To be honest i think Dallas is just 1 of those teams this season thats going to get everything clicking late season and actually go on a serious deep playoff run this season. And why this team is different bcus the jets game shows how we are just game planning each game dallas is able to use the packages that will either rush the passer if its someone like fields and like how we adjust in each game and even tho defense doesnt show it on paper but each week the pass rushers are getting bettter and better as the season moves forward i can truly see overshown coming back and see him and rookie dono be amazing together and i think the rookie dono is actually a better all around player than micha ye i said it and thats why they let paesons go cus done the rookie will be a much all around player than parsons and its going to show by next season but hes showing glimps this year so far and only getting better. And even Mazi even did better on some passing plats from the jets mazi was getting in there he still struggled but he seems like hes getting better and sam williams has also go t better over the past 2 weeks so i really like what dallas is dong and going to be even better by 2nd half of season and will win more games than what people are saying i see more than 8 or 9 wins like haters say anything im laugh dallas still has 11 o 12 wins this season even that defense can keep growing
Donovan has to get over that half second hesitation he's there but falls for Lil movements that if he didn't he would have atleast three sacks
