He just sent a SERIOUS message…

He just sent a serious message with the St. Louis Blues having one player in particular standing out which has management, coaching, and fans raving. This one player is changing everything for the Blues and we get a huge bounce back from Jordan Bennington as everything is starting to come together for the St. Louis Blues team. We’re going to break down this one player that has been turning heads and the bounce back from Jordan Bennington, plus so much more in this episode and you’re not going to want to miss it. But before we get into that, I just want to give a huge shout out to everyone watching. We’re trying to reach our goal of 4,500 subscribers. We’re seeing a lot of people shine, but one in particular was Jimmy Snugroo. You can pause and look at the effect of offense, his offense, the team offense, everything Snugoo did last night was insane for the St. Louis Blues. And the young Ford has not slowing down two goals to help defeat the Vancouver Conucks. What is your thoughts on Jimmy Snugru going into a season where we’ve seen during the preseason? Even Jim Montgomery said, “Don’t buy an apartment yet.” And he is making a statement. Yeah, we knew he was going to make the team, but obviously the coaching staff and management are going to say things like that. But this was a really encouraging sign. If you look through the first two games of the season, obviously we’ll get to Jordan Bennington in a second because that’s a big storyline through the first three games. But if you look through the first two games of the season, a lot of people are saying, “Where’s Jimmy Snugru? Where’s Jimmy Snug?” Right? Like this this could become a problem even though it is the first two games. But of course, you know, you can’t blame fans for wanting to overreact the first two games or anything like that because, you know, you got to pick up some wins, right? Early season stuff here. So, you know, a lot of people were asking that question and he finally arrived on the scene. And I think, you know, there’s a lot of question marks in terms of what he’s going to do this year. What is a stat line going to look like when the season’s all said and done? I think he’s going to score a lot of goals and I think he’s going to be scoring in bunches like in this game where he might go a couple games without scoring, but then he’s going to go on a bit of a streak. I I just feel like he’s that type of player. So, we’ll see how that plays out and I think that will work out well for the Blues because they’re going to be able to get scoring from different areas. But, you know, to see him finally break out in this third game. And I say break out, I mean this season. We know he has it in him from last year, the small sample size that we saw, you know, to finally get going this year with two goals, get on the board in a big win. You wanted to pick up that win against Vancouver. It was crucial. Uh that’s good news for the the Blues. So heading into uh the next couple of games, I’m looking at him as like a big point producer. Let’s see what he can do the next couple games now that he has the hot hands. So really good news for the Blues. I think a lot of people were, you know, starting to question uh you know, which is crazy like we’re only a couple games in, but that’s that’s what it is. So I think it was coming into question at this point, but uh he’s silenced all the haters, which we love to see. And I think the big thing, too, is getting a win against a team like Vancouver. This is a team that you were battling with to get a wild card spot last year. these early wins could be dictating on if you make the playoffs in a wild card spot or even in the playoffs at all. So, coming in on these wins and listen, we know we’ve seen the Logan Mayu comments. We’re doing a full video on this later as well, so keep your eye for that. But the biggest thing with Snugroot, he has been outstanding. We’ve seen him come in last year just under a half or just over half a point a game, but now firing at a point per game. You can see the NHL average games if he played all 82 would come out at 57 points. Darius, we’re seeing a very young player in his first full season with the St. Louis Blues really starting to blossom into a player that might honestly fight for the Calder at this point. And we did see some line changes. We seen him move down with Pew Sudter and Joseph. But with the lines, we’re going to dive into some event stats and everything on this as well. But with the lines, would you be surprised if Jim Montgomery looked at this and said, “Hey, they showed out. We got a big crucial win in this. Do we keep this going forward?” Yeah. You know, there’s a lot of coaches around the league that like to work in pairs. And I don’t know if Jim Montgomery necessarily likes to do that, but you know, I think that when you find something that works, even if it doesn’t involve the third guy and Joseph on the line, maybe you go back to it for the next game. Now, keep in mind, I think Sudter had some invested interest in the last game, obviously, you know, coming from Vancouver and he wanted to have a good game. He had an amazing game. Snugoo played well, right? like so maybe you found something there that you kind of ride for the next little while because the first line was looking a bit stale to a degree like they weren’t really you know they’re creating chances and stuff like that but not necessarily scoring and Robert Thomas did have a good game the other day but you know maybe it’s a situation where you’re looking at this and you go why would I break this up why would I change anything because we just won a game and they played really well so keep them together even though the playing time is going to you know reflect that as well like he’s gonna be playing a little bit less because you’re you know dependent on Thomas and guys like that on the top line So that’ll be interesting to monitor heading into the next game. But to me, why would you split it up right now? It looked like they had something going. I think that, you know, Sudter is very, you know, quick. All of these things he can make those passes, right? Snugoo is that guy that’s going to finish those plays. So if you found something that works here, you know, why go back to something else until, of course, it breaks or something else in the lineup breaks. Why not just rock with that? They are dealing with some injuries as well throughout the lineup. So, you know, we’ll touch on that, too. But to me, why would you break that up? Yeah. And I think that’s a big thing. Listen, we didn’t see the best analytic performance from the top line going through. We can see in their 22 minutes playing together. The top line was 40% expected goals for percentage, but this is the new line that we haven’t seen really play together. So getting them together, and listen, I’m not going to sit here and say the Canucks are a bad team either. So getting them against the top line, maybe they need to gel more. People have off nice. So I do think this line works. We know Jake Neighbors can be an elite goal scorer, so putting them next to Thomas is a huge perk. But Darius, this is the team that’s going to do something special. Looking at the forward group, we know you can interchange quite a bit. We’ve seen them do it. They’re coming in off a hot win. They’re looking at getting more wins. So, I do expect them to continue the second line stay together. They’ve been outstanding since they’ve been put together since last season, but I think this Blues team is building something big. I mean, if you’re looking at the goal scoring or just total points, we can see sitting sitting at the very top are the young guys, Jake Neighbors, Jimmy Snuggard. What is your thoughts of the youth movement going through this group? And once the team starts completely jelling, we see the top guys in Robert Thomas really step up and get over the point per game. Do you think this is a team that’s looking at maybe even a big hot streak going forward? I don’t know if it’s going to stay this way, but this is something you like to see because there’s points in the season where your topline players, they’re going to go away. It happens to every single team and guys, sometimes, you know, there’s drier times of year and then, you know, certain players get hot at certain points in the season as well. So, this is something that I think you want to see because at some point you’re going to have have to hand off the keys to the younger guys as well. So, you want to see them produce. You don’t want a situation where it’s like, oh, don’t worry, they’re just the young guys on the team. No, you want them involved. the Neighbors has started the year really really well. Like I’m really excited to see what he continues to do as well. He’s putting up some points and playing really well just like based on eye test and even some advanced analytics depending on the line that he’s on. But you know it’ll be interesting to see what happens going forward and if they’re able to continue doing that because I think it is going to flip. I don’t know if it’s going to stay that way. I do feel like you know Robert Thomas is probably going to lead the way when it’s all said and done. Maybe Kyu as well. But um you know at the end of the day you still need that point production from your young guys. And again, like I said, like heading into the future, Snugru’s got to be that guy, right? Uh, you know, Neighbors is going to be a really good player for this team moving forward and a guy that should be an impact player. A couple guys that are younger on the team right now. So, that’ll be interesting to monitor as we move forward. But, I think it’s a great sign. Really, really good stuff. And again, like you have different points of the season. I think that’s what impresses me, at least on paper, about this team that, you know, in certain points of the year, if Kyru is on a, you know, a hot streak, maybe some of the younger guys aren’t, but then vice versa, right? like you’re getting scoring from different areas on this team which I think is really good. And not only that, they should be very hard to play against. And I think the biggest thing is we’re seeing everything to come together. Listen, it is game three. We’re going into game four. This is a team that has a long season ahead of him, but overall things are looking good. You can even see a bounce back from Jordan Bennington coming out with a 931 save percentage. We know Joel Hall of Famer Hoer has stepped up in his game as well. This is a Blues team that has done very well. They’re going to continue. They have high aspirations after a season like last year making a push against the presence trophy winners. But Blues fans, what is your thoughts? Who has been the biggest standout for this team? Is it one of the young wingers stepping through with Neighbors or Snugroot? Is it someone else? Let us know down in the comments. And speaking of comments, let’s go straight into comments of the day. And this is coming through from Nick saying, “I think Bennington likes having something to prove and just to be pushed competitively. Hope for being an impressive outing will bring out the little extra intensively hopefully.” And the big thing is this is exactly what happened. We seen Hover have a great game. Bennington fed off this and came out with an even bigger one as well. Let us know your thoughts on everything we spoke of and you could be featured on comments of the day. While you’re down there, leave a like, subscribe, share this with your friends. We’ll be back another episode tonight, so keep your eye out for that. But I’ve been your host Mark with my co-host Darius and take care

  1. Yep, great job, snugerude. Also, Joseph has looked really good and had an assist in the Vancouver game. Also, Joseph has hit 4 posts in 3 games i haven't been a fan of his but i hope he keeps going

  2. My only concern unfortunately is Mailloux! I really thought he'd be better defensively! He's young though maybe Colton can help him! Tucker looks good though imo!

  3. I would love a post game show from you guys. It would be beneficial hearing what you saw from each goal play or having plays of the game and your own 3 stars.

  4. You have to respect a streak and you two need to honor what happened this last game, they scored the first goal, scored in the first period and never trailed. You two didn't do a game day video so let's see more of the same. Or do a video for the Blackhawks about how their 1-2 start is the best start and how they have the rest of the NHL right where they want them.

  5. what does torpopcheschnko bring to the team? no skill, nearly dead last pk..etc etc .. texier looked better on the 4th line..i really dont care if he is a big body , he needs to be let go in FA …keven hayes had a big body … pk was near dead last under toto ..time to let him go
