  1. Honestly, never have said I’ve been bored during a playoff game of my team. But it was just a really boring game to be at. Just outmatched. In every way. Everyone knew it, the bats we have just aren’t good enough for the playoffs. Whole thing of “Dodgers bullpen sucks” doesn’t matter if you let their starters go fucking 8 innings in back to back games. Muncy, their like 5th best guy, would be our best hitter by like a lot. In the current state of the MLB, it is hard to see us ever winning a world series

  2. Dodgers with two generational SP performances in a row. Maybe we are just bad right now

  3. Not even dooming – it was a great season and the nlds was amazing.

There’s no way they take one, let alone two games in LA. Completely outmatched 1-9. Embarrassingly so.

The skill gulf is miles wide.

  4. We had success all season by having long, patient at bats. The Dodger’s bullpen has been ass. So why are we constantly swinging at everything and getting out in 3-4 pitches? And Yeli has been the worst offender which as the team captain sets a horrible example.

Edit – I know he was throwing lots of strikes. That doesn’t mean we didn’t have our share of terrible at bats like

  5. Kinda glad I didn’t pick up tickets to either of these games. Hopefully they make it back to milwaukee for the last two games.

  6. We are as a fucked as fucked can get down 2-0 heading to LA for 3. Sorry that’s it. But I’m sure MLB is ecstatic.

  7. Losing in the playoffs to the superior team is something, but losing at home to just one pitcher is beyond embarrassing

I honestly don’t know where this team goes from here. Just win 1 game, hopefully the next one and let’s get our hopes back up for a potential series return trip to MKE? (And yes, I’m aware we need 2 just to force another game at home)

  8. It’s not even that they didn’t win. It’s that they didn’t even put up a fight. 5 hits all series 2 runs, and 1 official at bat with RISP. At home too it’s pathetic. All year they put pressure on good pitchers. Just to through it all out when games matter the most. Just abysmal and now we take our 9 game playoff road losing streak into LA. I want to believe but have no confidence at all that they will bring this series back to MKE.

  9. At this point they’re just playing to avoid a sweep.

I thought this was our year. I really did. Turns out I was just an idiot because no year will ever be our year.

  10. Never has the disparity between the haves and have-nots been so clear.

Yamamoto is worth $325 million dollars. He made our offense look like a little league team.

  11. Someone posted that as a leader Yelich should tell Murph he should sit pine, I couldn’t agree more. This offense seems completely lost and outmatched. We needed yesterday bad. Hard to have hope when they have zero mojo.

  12. I really don’t understand their approach at the plate at all. Completely disconnected from what they’ve done all year.

  13. Would def sit Yelich game 3. Stares at every pitch down main street and swings at every pitch in the dirt. Just not seeing the ball.

  14. They’re simply outmatched. This is when that extra $350 million makes a huge difference.

  15. Never trust the small market in baseball. The Royals were the exception but nobody was sniffing the contracts players are on today. Year after year of teams who (usually) spend the most money winning is going to turn a lot of people away from the game. And if I sound salty, that’s because I am.

  16. Kill the 2027 season and bring on the salary cap. Or just keep handing rings to the Dodgers. I honestly couldn’t care less anymore.

  17. Honestly, this season has taught me not to get so bent out of shape about baseball. The season is ungodly long….and the Brewers just aren’t going to be able to win or even get to the World Series in this MLB economic climate. It’s official. We won more games than any Brewer team ever…..we went 6-0 against the Dodgers…..and it still didn’t matter. Anything short of high payroll teams having injuries during the playoffs, we just can’t compete when our owner doesn’t want to spend more than he does….and when the highest spending team is in our league.

I’m not knocking the Dodgers…..they know how to spend it versus like the Yanks. Even the AL….TOR’s payroll is twice our payroll and the M’s is like 30 mil more…..and I believe they made some trades to make that even higher since the season started.

I just feel NBA, NFL, NHL….just way more even playing field. Way more level playing field. Way more worth my time in getting bent out of shape about LOL. This season was fun, though! The Brewers have no reason to hang their heads.

Hey, at least we beat Greg!
