Sounds of the Game: Week 6 vs. Seahawks | Jacksonville Jaguars
Alpha one there. at the play call. It looked like the old team for set this tone, man. Set the tone, AJ. Set the tone. The Seahawks had only three three and outs last few games. We’ve had two already today. So, that Jaguar defense has been outstanding. Guys, one of the things coming into the game was how would the Jaguars find a way to disrupt Sam Darnold’s rhythm? Coming into the game, Darnold was third and passer rating at 114.9. The Jaguars are mixing up the pressure. He’s not comfortable and we’ve seen inaccurate throws as a result. We good money. We are good money. Ah, we good money. Hey, that’s how we do it. That’s how we play on the edge. Let’s go, bud. Run out of time. Go be you. Let’s do it. Yeah, third down such a critical down. You get the opponent off the field and then offensively you keep drives alive to score points. If you’re winning on third down as a team today, you’re controlling the game. This is an area they know they need to be better. It’s third down and 11. Jags from their own 38 yd line. Dropping the throw. This should be a free play for Trevor. Scrambling. He’s got a free play if he wants it. Throws it out to the left side. That’s gone. That’s a tight end. That’ll be a first down. Third and 16. Jags from their own 46. Dropping as Trevor looking. Fires it deep downfield. Brian Thomas Jr. made the catch on the far sideline and that’ll be a first down. Play fake. Trevor drop. Looking looking. Throws it out to the right side. That’s Travis Hunter. He made a man miss inside the 30 to the 25. Boy is this guy electric after the catch. Play fake. Pump fake. Fires downfield. Got a man wide open. Brian Thomas along the far sideline. Touchdown. It was a pump fake. He fired it to Brian Thomas Jr. A 21 yd touchdown pass. And Jackson Pal strikes first. Good job. Hey, good job. Hey, but hey, let’s go. What a great play and a great read by the quarterback Trevor Lawrence. And you got to give the coaching staff some credit here. They get Brian Thomas behind the defense and there’s not a defender within 15 yards. Brian Thomas could have had a cup of coffee, read the newspaper on the way to the end zone. Second down and eight now. Left to right come the Seahawks continue this possession in the second quarter. Dropping his Arnold stepping up fires it deep downfield and that is Smith and Jig the wide open inside the 30 yd line. A long corner route he got it inside the 25. Third down and goal from the four high formation. Look, they run it with Charbanet again and the Jack hit him. That time they did get him in the back field back at the sixyd line. Good work. Work 24 y from the right hash. Dixon will hold it. The punter puts it down. Myers kicks it up and the chip shot field goal is good and Seattle is on the board. So Greg Newsome plays for the first time for Jacksonville. Sam Darnold under center. Walker back in as a running back. Play fake. Dropping the throw is Darnold looking. Fires it deep downfield. They’re going to try Newsome right out of the gate. That ball is going to be caught by Jackson Smith and Jacob for the touchdown. Third and four Jags. They’re two out of six on third down. This is from their own 28 yd line. Crowd of the line. They’re coming on all out blitz. Teras got to get it out of his hands. He does. Caught on the right side. That’s Parker Washington stays on his feet along the right sideline and is inside the 40. And now they’re going to say he went out of bounds, but that’s okay. Hey, they’re going to mark him out of bounds at the 45. The Jags 45. A 50 yd field goal from the left hash out of the hold of Logan Cook. Logan puts it down. Little kicks it up and the 50 yd field goal is no good. And it will be a field goal opportunity for Jason Meyer. The 53 y from the right pass. There’s the hold. Meyers kick and the 53 yd field goal is good. 13 unanswered for Seattle. The Seahawks lead at 13-6. The Jags started out well. They led 6 nothing, missed an extra point. Seattle didn’t do a lot offensively. Only five first downs. They were 0 out of five on third downs. But they had the one big play to Smith and Jigba. And then they really controlled the Jaguar offense the rest of the half. Under center this time is Darnold. Receivers to either side. Kind of an offset eye look here. Play fake dropping. Fires middle of the field. That ball’s going to be caught inside the 30. The 25 yd line. That’s Cooper Cup stays on his feet. Finally tackled inside the 20 yd line. Cooper Cup the longtime Ram made the catch for Seattle. Seattle has not converted a third down. They’re 0 out of five on third down. Two left, one right shotgun. Darnold drops, looks, fires corner of the end zone, and that ball is going to be caught for the touchdown in the left corner. Hey, hey, just like last week, right? One play at a time. One play at a time, right? One play. left off Brian Thomas Jr. He’s got a first down in the middle of the field. Fourth down. Here we go. Trevor looks holds on to the ball. Scrambles. Got to let go of it and throws it to the middle of the field and going to be caught. That is going to be caught by Hunter Long. That is the first. What a play by Trevor Lawrence. Looking looking, looking. Scrambling forward. Now he fires downfield. That ball’s caught. That ball is into the end zone. That’s going to be a touchdown pass to Tim Patrick of 26 yd. Good job. Trevor Lawrence does a great job of kind of manipulating the pocket a little bit. Find a little extra time and finds Tim Patrick. Patrick makes it pay off. That’s a critical score at a critical time. Third down and a big one. Empty back field for Sam Darnold. They’re all coming and all out blitz. Darnold gets hit. They’re going to sack him. I mean, they sent the house. They sent Head Duvall after Darnold. And Ventro Miller got it inside the 35 yd line. Third and 11. Jags four out of 15 on third down. Dropping is against a fourman rush as Trevor steps up. Hit sack. They got him again around the 27 yd line. Demarcus Lawrence finished him off and the Jags are going to have to punt it away again. Darnold under center. Charbanet the running back. Can you get a takeaway? You got 14 on the year. You lead the lead. Play fake. Darnold drops. Looking looking. Fires it deep downfield. Got a man wide open. Caught at the 40. 35 30 25 20. Made a man miss. Hit from behind. That is the tight end AJ Barner. They blew a coverage and he’s got it all the way down to the 12 of Jacksonville. A 61 yd gain. Well, that one right there might do it. That’s the one thing you didn’t want to have. You know, you’re so keyed up on worrying about stopping the running game, thinking that the Seattle Seahawks are going to run a 4-minute offense, try to grind it out, and Sam Darnold pulls it back away from the running back and finds his tight end, who by the way, last week had an impressive game, but he’s literally not used a whole lot and he’s more of a run blocking tight end. They slip him out the back door and he gets down the field without anybody seeing him. He’ll take one more knee and that’ll be it. Now for the Jaguars, Jeff, you got to turn the page a little bit. Not much time. Tomorrow the Jaguars get on a plane. You don’t have much time to think about this, too. You get on a plane tomorrow and you head to London. Well, you’re getting ready to face a good football team. You look, competition is always strong in the National Football League. When it’s against those that you know and and your peers, then it becomes even stronger. So, this game’s got a a lot of meaning this week. Guys, this is the opportunity we’ve said is going to come at some point, man. Adversely, right? Everybody says how great we are. All this and we are we are a good team, but we can’t beat who? Before, you know, beating good team. That’s a good quality football team. So are we. But we beat ourselves and they didn’t at the end of the day. That’s really what this all comes down to, guys. It’s not much more complicated than that, right? In all three phases, we definitely did not help ourselves for the majority of the time. That’s the reality. Do we play our balls off? Yeah. I don’t think we’re ever going to not play our balls off. So, we play hard. There’s no question. We practice hard. But how as a group, how as a team can we come together and say, “Man, we’ve got to practice smarter, play smarter.” How are our habits, are they in line? Are they aligned with discipline? All of our habits I’m talking about off the field, in the building, in the weight room, in the training room, in the classroom, in the walkthrough. Are all of those, and I’m asking, I’m not questioning. I’m just asking to for all of us to look at that and make sure we’re in alignment with being a on the point precision operation in all three phases. That’s what I’m asking and that’s where we got to go take the next step guys because that is what’s holding us back man. We have got by and we’ve won some of these games because of this, right? A lot of we made a lot of great plays, but because we got hard, because we play our balls off. But in times where we got to go execute and not hurt ourselves, man, that showed up today. That’s just the reality. All good, guys. On the same page, go on three.
The Jaguars take their first loss at home against the Seahawks and fall to 4-2 before heading to London to face the Rams. Watch the cinematic recap of Week 6 on Sounds of the Game, presented by Your Southern Ford Dealers.

I ain't never watching one of these after a loss
But good job anyway
10:22 mark, this is a coach, we are ok.
ON TO THE NEXT. Letβs get this mf dub this weekend yal boys! ππππππππππ
Go Hawks! ππ
He has the right demeanor for this team and this fan base. ππ
Sad to watch but i did.
We good regardless. We're playing the best football we ever played in a long time with great players and awesome coach and most importantly the Duval county fan base is right behind them.
You guys let Seattle dictate your game before it even began.
And can you put mr βI only kick 70 yardersβ out there for a record so he can miss it and go back to focusing on normal field goals.
Every team gonna have a stinker or two. Learn from it and move on.
As much as I despised watching this I can't help but to think, we WILL beat, them next time we play them, in the Superbowl.
Jags home games dont look like home games. Looks like a neutral site. City needs to support the team better.

Letβs get a win against the rams in London. Go jags!
Those missed kicks were massive. Itβs likely 17-17 near the end of the game with a chance to win if Little doesnβt miss those.
Really enjoyed the consistency in the 3rd down conversions.
Booo
We need better safety play
Listen yall, we still gotta lose 3 more games to be 12-5, chill out
Can anyone tell me the name of the track that is always at the beginning of these?
ILY DUUVAL
Trevor balled out
