All of you know it. The vibes are different now. This team is fun to watch

  1. Was just thinking “man, my cold dump and chase hardened heart is finally warming”. I know we’re only 3 games in, but the effort is there, the forecheck is constant, and the energy and pressing is high. A little messy, but I feel like you already see the Q difference on forecheck and movement (or just the young kids have that much energy as they all learn the Q system slowly). Its also weird to realize how much the rebuild is “complete” from a crotchety ducks fan…while some of the trades recently saddened me, this is an exciting team that feels “new” and “different” than what we were. Excited for the season.

  2. I havent watched hockey for a good 24 years (im canadian and grew up die hard NFL fan) and now im back just because of the classic duck logo changes. i was petty i guess. should be “mighty ducks”.. nice home opener win! The orange will take some getting used to but i figure it’s going to be like Tennessee Volunteer orange or Clemson orange vibes. I can see where this can go.. so far it feels like a young up and coming team.. oh ya i like how theres only 4 divisions thats cool.. and seeing detroit red wings in the eastern conference. 10/10 so far.

  3. The push is awesome to watch. If they could harness that all game, they’re going to be formidable. And such a welcome departure from the dump and chase.

  4. We are using a slingshot entry on the powerplay! We are playing 21st century hockey. I never thought this day would come, it brings a tear to my eye :’)
