Let me explain to you why it’s time for Sabres fans to boycott the Buffalo Sabres. For nearly 15 years, fans have endured losing seasons, weak management, and broken promises. And now things have reached a tipping point. Kevin Adams must be fired. He’s too tied to Terry Pagula, limiting real authority. And Pagula’s hands-on ownership has prevented Fresh Voices from changing course. When they brought back Lindy Ruff, they blocked him from hiring his own staff. But instead of building around the youth, the team keeps running veterans who don’t move the needle. So if you’re a Sabres fan watching this, stop buying tickets, skip the merchandise, turn off the TV until leadership changes. Nothing will shift if fans continue to support this broken system. I know it would suck to stop supporting your team, but doing nothing means accepting mediocrity forever.   5. Crazy how the Sabres fell from grace. I still remember the Hasek era when I was a kid. Buffalo was a team no one wanted smoke with for a long time. Shame how ownership screwed the city and the fans

  14. We need to stop blaming Adam’s and blame the real reason for both Buffalo’s National team’s struggles : the owners! They are obviously making bank by having one of the greatest NFL teams that for some “weird reason” never can pull it out in the end. Ever since their ownership of the Sabres it’s just been cycle after cycle where they get just good enough to give you hope and then we are back here again. Trading off great players to bring in “veterans” that are ten years older than the younger promising core group, and they can’t keep up, but it’s great for Terry because he can retain his money by refusing to get players that will fulfill the cap. I’m not saying Adam’s doesn’t need to go but ultimately it is the PEGULA’s who are intentionally stymying their teams, especially the Sabres. I hated Eichel when he left and I still dislike him (to be fair I never ever liked him but I respected him) but I am starting to understand why he left and I will be devastated when (not if) Dahlin, Thompson, and Tuch leave. I’m not even from Buffalo but since I was about 11 I have been a die hard Buffalo football and hockey fan… but the PEGULA’s make me sick honestly.
